Fr. Joe and I would like to thank all of you who helped with preparing for the Christmas
celebrations, especially those who are involved in the various parish committees: Parish
Pastoral Council, Finance Council, Liturgy, Eucharistic ministers, Lectors, choirs, youth
performers for carolling, church decorators, sponsors and donors, as well to Semião
Cardoso and his family for making the nativity scene at the church entrance. We would
like also to thank all volunteers from different ministries who have shown their full
support in making this celebration possible. Thank you also to many parishioners who
shared their time, talent and treasure in hidden acts of charity, piety and kindness. We
want to thank you all for your faithfulness and we would like to let you know how much
we appreciate your generosity of spirit. We hope and pray that we will continue to
celebrate all special events such as Christmas, not only once a year, but every day of
our lives, to enrich one another in deepening our faith and leading us all towards the
building up of a genuine Catholic Christian Community. Finally, thanks to all who sent
us cards, gifts, good wishes, and prayers. Thank you and Happy New Year to all!!!

Week Of Prayer For Christian Unity
Christ the King University Parish will be hosting a Service of Prayer to celebrate and
pray for full, visible communion amongst the Christian Churches. We will gather on
Monday, January 25, 2016 at 7 pm in The Chapel at Winderemere on the Mount
(Mount St. Joseph). Songs from the ecumenical community of Taize (France) will
provide the foundation for the evening. All are encouraged to attend. Bishop Fabbro
CSB will offer words of welcome.

decoradores da igreja e doadores, também ao Semião Cardoso e sua família que
fizeram o presépio na entrada da igreja. Obrigado também a muitos paroquianos que
compartilharam seu tempo, talento e tesouro em atos de caridade, piedade e bondade.
