Presentation
Founded in 1953, PORTUGALISOL - Companhia de Isolamentos Térmicos e
Acústicos de Portugal, Lda. - specialised in the execution of industrial insulation
both in the field of thermal insulation (hot and cold) and in soundproofing and
refractory insulation, have been involved in nearly all large industrial projects
including the most varied branches in industry as Feed, Chemistry, Petrochemicals,
Refineries and Thermal Power Stations.
To most efficiently respond all the solicitations in the North of Portugal, in 1976
was created the northern Delegation of PORTUGALISOL.
Due to its rapid implantation in the market and the increase on the amount of work
in this area, in 1988 the northern Delegation autonomized itself and became
PORTUGALISOL NORTE, Lda.
It is our aim to offer the services of a modern and dynamic organisation, allowing
the accomplishment of large projects that, owing to their technical, quality and
terms of execution, is giving us ground to become one of the most respected
enterprises in the market.
Built from the same structures, both human and material, as the northern
Delegation of PORTUGALISOL, we've participated in the most important works of
that society, and so it can only be fair to consider our participation and to name it
on our Curriculum as PORTUGALISOL NORTE, differentiating however this works
from all the others after the autonomization.

Portugalisol Norte has also developed projects abroad, with good quality and
competitive price, namely in Germany (Janschewalde/Boxberg/Gelsenkirchen),
France (2 Boilers - EDF Martigues) and Spain (Bioethanol/Biomass Factory Inabensa Protisa).
