INDEFINITES (SOME – ANY – NO)
Some (algum, alguma, alguns, algumas,
um pouco de) é usado em frases
afirmativas.
I have some money in my wallet.
Some é usado em frases interrogativas
apenas quando se trata de um
oferecimento ou quando se espera uma
resposta afirmativa.
Would you like some coffee?
Have you lost some money?
Any (algum, alguns, alguma(s), nenhum(a) é usado
em frases negativas e/ou interrogativas.
- Do you have any money in your wallet?
- I don’t have any money.
Any é usado em frases afirmativas quando:
• aparecer após a palavra if.
If you have any problem, tell me.
• significar qualquer.
Take any CD you want.
• houver palavra de sentido negativo na frase,como
seldom, never, rarely, without, etc.
David went out without any money.
No é usado em frases afirmativas e equivale a uma oração negativa
com any.
