After-School Activities

Policy and Guide
Important Information
Elementary activities begin on August 15th and end
on December 9th. Activities are from 3:45pm to
4:45pm.
Students must obey the rules of the activity and
actively participate.
To ensure safety and quality of the activities, we will
have a limited number of students and we will try to
guarantee that your child will be enrolled in at least
one of their choices, beside support classes if sign
up is made by August 11th.
If for any reason a child is not staying for afterSchool activities, the teacher must receive a note
from the parents. Otherwise, he or she will be sent
to the activity.
Sign up is from August 5th to September 2nd only,
and the slips must be handed in exclusively to the
classroom teacher.
Siblings or friends not in the activity may NOT attend.
All Elementary students must be picked up, or join
an activity and are not to roam on campus without
parent directed supervision.
Attendance in activities must be regular. In an
activity with a waiting list, if a student misses 3 days
of activities without an excused absence, he or she
will be taken out of the activity and the students on
the waiting list will be contacted.
IMPORTANT: Activity enrollment confirmation will
be sent via Jupiter by Ms Flavia Mizukawa on August
12th.
Important Information
1st and 2nd grade students will be taken by their
homeroom teachers to the Elementary Covered Area
and will be supervised by recreational assistants
from 3:30pm to 3:45pm. At 4:45pm, all 1st and 2nd
grade students will be handed to the recreational
assistant at the Elementary Covered Area by their
After-School teacher. Parents and van drivers must
pick up 1st and 2nd graders from the Elementary
Buses provide transportation for students enrolled
in After-School activities and are contracted directly
by the parents.
Covered Area until 4:55pm.
At 4:55pm, remaining students will be taken to the
dismissal area and supervised by school guards.
Depending on enrollment, Soccer for 2nd and 3rd, and
4th and 5th, may be available once a week only, please
indicate the best day.
3rd to 5th grade students will wait in the Elementary
Covered Area from 3:30pm to 3:45pm to be picked
up by After-School activity teacher. Students will be
released at 4:45pm and go directly to the dismissal
area.
In case of rain, outdoor activities will be held in
the library or classroom and students will have
alternative activities.
Behavior issues will be reported via Jupiter Grades.
After 3 warnings, student will not be allowed to stay
in the activity for that semester.
In all soccer activities shin guards are mandatory and
cleats are not allowed.

Informações Importantes
As atividades do Elementary se iniciam em 15 de
agosto e terminam em 9 de dezembro. As atividades
são das 15h45 às 16h45.
Os alunos devem seguir as regras da atividade e
participar ativamente. Alunos que não as seguirem
serão convidados a se retirar da atividade.
Para garantir a segurança e a qualidade das aulas,
teremos um número limitado de alunos. Tentaremos
garantir que seu filho seja inscrito em pelo menos
uma das atividades, além das atividades de reforço,
se a inscrição for feita até dia 11 de agosto.
Irmãos ou amigos que não estão matriculados na
atividade, NÃO poderão participar na mesma. Todos
os alunos do Elementary deverão ser buscados
no horário de saída de aula regular, ou entrar em
uma atividade, e não poderão ficar na escola sem
supervisão direta dos pais.
As inscrições serão somente do dia 5 de agosto a 2
de setembro, e devem ser entregues diretamente à
professora regente.
A assiduidade nas aulas deve ser regular. Se um
aluno faltar 3 dias de atividade sem justificativa, ele
(a) será retirado(a) da atividade e os alunos da lista
de espera serão chamados.
Se, por qualquer motivo, o aluno não permanecer
para as atividades extracurriculares, os pais devem
enviar um aviso ao professor. Caso contrário, o aluno
será levado à atividade.
IMPORTANTE: A confirmação da inscrição nas
atividades escolhidas será enviada através do
Jupiter Grades pela professora Flávia Mizukawa no
dia 12 de agosto.
Informações Importantes
Os alunos do 1˚ e 2˚ anos serão levados pelos
professores de sala de aula para área coberta do
Elementary onde serão supervisionados pelos
recreacionistas das 15h30 até as 15h45, até serem
buscados pelo professor da atividade.
Às 16h45 os alunos do 1˚ e 2˚ anos serão levados
até a área coberta do Elementary pelo professor
da atividade e ficarão com os recreacionistas. Pais e
motoristas de van devem buscar os alunos na área
coberta do Elementary até as 16h55.
Às 16h55, os alunos dos 1˚ e 2˚ anos que
permanecerem na escola serão levados para a área
de saída e serão supervisionados pelos seguranças
da escola.
Os alunos do 3˚ ao 5˚ ano aguardarão no Elementary
Covered Area das 15h30 às 15h45 até serem
buscados pelo professor da atividade. Os alunos
serão liberados às 16h45 e irão diretamente para a
área de saída.
Os ônibus e vans de transporte após o After-School
devem ser contratados diretamente pelos pais.
Em caso de chuva, as atividades externas serão na
biblioteca ou sala de aula e serão desenvolvidas
atividades alternativas.
Dependendo do número de alunos, o futebol de 2º
e 3º, 4º e 5º anos podem ser disponíveis apenas uma
vez na semana. Favor indicar o dia preferido.
Problemas de comportamento serão comunicados
através do Jupiter Grades. Após 3 avisos a
participação do aluno não será permitida na
atividade até o final do semestre.
Em todas as atividades de futebol é obrigatório o
uso de caneleiras e proibido o uso de chuteiras com
trava alta.

Important Information
**If you would like your child to participate in a futsal competitive
league outside ISC, representing our school, you must attend a
mandatory meeting with date and time to be defined.
**Se você desejar que seu/sua filho/a participe em um torneio competitivo de
futsal fora do ISC, representando nosso colégio, você deve comparecer a uma
reunião obrigatória com data e horário a serem definidos.
