All stream lengths and habitat scores are derived from identified stream reaches with assigned habitat quality values. See Habitat Reach Table and watershed maps for included stream reaches.
*Two pairs of barriers (BR_SY_9 and 10 and BR_MN_2 and 5) were included together as one keystone barrier for these calculations due to their structural relationship with each other and need for a fish passage improvement project that will address both structures simutaneously.
**BR_AH_1 was included, despite having a lower severity ranking of 0.8, due to it being the only anthropogenic barrier to steelhead migration in the watershed and its high severity ranking.
*** Atascadero Creek stream length and Habitat Scores upstream of the Maria Ygnacio Creek confluence were not included in this ranking due to the relatively poor salmonid conditions occuring there.
**** West Fork Gaviota Creek and "Las Cruces" Creek stream length and Habitat Scores were not included in this ranking due to the relatively poor salmonid conditions occuring there or lack of ground surveying and habitat observations due to access restrictions.
