The “Database of Portuguese Trade Unions” is presently constituted by information from 19 unions whose electoral data have been obtained by internet research. Compared to the
large number of unions in Portugal (several hundred) this sample is small, but it represents about 25%-30% of the total unionized workforce in the country. The database is a
permanent work in progress . We hope to gather much more data with the help of unions and researchers. If you are interested in this project please contact us
