DESCRIÇÃO
DESCRIPTION
Os descarregadores de corrente tipo raio,
(Tipo 1 segundo a norma EN 61643-11), são
aconselhados quando esperamos descargas
directas de raio por simples ligação da
instalação.
Os protectores Tipo 1 instalam-se na entrada
de alimentação, já que o nivel de protecção
que oferecem é unicamente compatível com
equipamentos instalados na entrada de
alimentação (ex.contadores) ou
equipamentos pertencentes a instalação
eléctrica fixa (ex. Magnetotérmicos,
diferenciais).
Lightning arresters (Type 1 according to EN
61643-11), are claimed to be installed in
locations with high risk possibilities of
lightning strike direct impacts.
Type 1 protectors are to be installed in the
main incomer of installations, as their
protection level is only compatível with
devices located on the main incomer, such
as energy counters, MCBs, etc.
It is recommended to use this type of
protectors always when the building or the
installations dispose of an exterior protection
against the lightning strike (such as lightning
rods or mesh).
Recomenda-se a utilização destes
protectores sempre e quando o edifício ou
instalação possua protecção exterior contra
o raio (pára-raios ou gaiola).
Otherwise it is recommended to use Type 2
surge protectors as a main incomer FIRST
STEP surge protection.
Deverá instalar sempre protectores Tipo 2 a
jusante de protectores Tipo 1 como segunda
etapa de protecção.
