BORDALLO // BORDALLO
Eis a Sardinha original. A que serviu de inspiração a todas as outras.
Criada por Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro, ao estilo naturalista, tornou-se parte
da iconografia portuguesa, a par de outras peças do artista, como as
andorinhas e o Zé Povinho. Reeditada a partir de moldes centenários, esta
Sardinha é inteiramente pintada à mão.
This is the original Sardine. The one that inspired all others. Created by
Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro, in a naturalistic style, it became part of the
Portuguese iconography, alongside other pieces by the artist such as the
swallows and “Zé Povinho” (John Doe). Having been re-launched using
centenarians moulds, this Sardine is entirely hand painted.
NOIVA // BRIDE
Uma Sardinha Noiva atrevida, que celebra e homenageia as Noivas de
Santo António, o “Santo Casamenteiro” na tradição popular alfacinha.
A sassy Sardine Bride that celebrates and honours the Brides of Saint
Anthony, the “Matchmaker Saint” of Lisbon popular tradition.
EMIGRANTE // EMIGRANT
Esta Sardinha nasceu dos assuntos predominantes nos noticiários, como
a crise e a emigração. Uma analogia com os envelopes de correio e
mensagens que os emigrantes enviam aos seus familiares. A imagem do
verso é a da rede de transportes de Bordéus, onde esperava ter conseguido
ficar a exercer a minha profissão.
This Sardine was born from predominant topics in the news, such as the
economic crisis and emigration. An analogy with airmail envelopes and
messages that emigrants use to send to their families. The image on the
back is from the transport network of Bordeaux, where I hoped that had the
chance to stay and pursue my career.
CORREIO // MAIL
Há quanto tempo não envia uma carta? Esta Sardinha evoca a saudade de
um gesto que se está a perder nos dias de hoje e releva a importância de
perpetuarmos as nossas tradições.
How long has it been since you last mailed a letter? This Sardine evokes the
nostalgia of a gesture that we’re losing nowadays, while highlighting the
importance of perpetuating our traditions.
FAROL // LIGHTHOUSE
Inspirada nos numerosos faróis existentes na costa portuguesa, esta Sardinha
remete para a ideia de viagem a um mundo longínquo, real ou imaginário,
assim como para o eterno regresso a casa após a descoberta do mesmo.
Inspired by the numerous existing lighthouses along the Portuguese coast,
this Sardine refers to the idea of travelling to a distant world, whether real or
imaginary, as well as the eternal return home after its discovery.
PREIA-MAR // HIGH TIDE
A Sardinha Preia-Mar é uma alusão à pesca em alto mar, simbolizando a
imponência do mar, o poder de paz e tormenta que nos reduz, que nos
reduzem. O mar inteiro dentro de uma Sardinha.
The High Tide Sardine is an allusion to deep sea fishing, symbolizing
both the lull and the storm that diminishes us. The whole of the sea
inside of a sardine.
SANTA JUSTA // SANTA JUSTA
Era apenas uma Sardinha anónima e pálida. Procurava ganhar cor
e participar nas Festas de Lisboa. Como ícone das Festas, merecia uma
ilustração monumental. Desta forma, procurei criar uma simbiose entre
a sardinha e o elevador de Santa Justa. A Sardinha Santa Justa, outrora
anónima e pálida, desfila agora cor e tradição.
It was just an anonymous and pale Sardine. It sought colour and participated
in the “Festas de Lisboa” (Lisbon Festivities). As the event’s icon, it deserved a
monumental illustration. So, I tried to create a symbiosis between the sardine
and the Santa Justa Elevator. The Santa Justa Sardine, once anonymous and
pale, now parades in colour and tradition.
CONDE DE ESPICHEL // ESPICHEL’S COUNT
Figurão da nobreza lisboeta do séc. XVIII, tem gostos requintados e tiques
de linguagem como Oh la la! ou Et, voilá!, que está sempre a aplicar.
Organiza o Salon Musical et Littéraire, recebendo os convidados recostado
num leito, ao estilo do século anterior, na Chambre Bleu do seu
palacete em Belém.
Being a bigwig of the Lisbon nobility of the 18th century, he has exquisite
taste and language ticks, like “Oh la la!” or “Et, voilá!”, which he is always
applying. He organizes the “Salon Musical et Littéraire”, receiving guests
while reclined on a bed from the previous century, at the Chambre Bleu of
his palace in Belém.
TIPOGRÁFICA // TYPOGRAPHIC
Esta Sardinha é uma experiência tipográfica desenhada à mão. As letras
são exploradas enquanto forma com o objetivo de encontrar várias soluções
que materializem a palavra Lisboa, mostrando que aí existem e coabitam
várias Lisboas. Cada um constrói uma cidade diferente dentro de si.
This Sardine is a hand-drawn typographic experience. The letters are
explored as shapes, aiming to find several solutions that materialize the
word ‘Lisbon’, showing that several Lisbons cohabit and exist there. Each
one builds a different city within it.
PESSOANA // PESSOANA
Porque é do português, pai de amplos mares, querer, poder só isto: ser
nada. E ser pessoa num mar de gente. Ser gente. Inundar. Enxugar.
Chorar. Boiar. Levantar e voltar a mergulhar. Ser pescado. Ser eviscerado
e sobreviver: o inteiro mar, ou a orla vã desfeita – O todo, ou o seu nada

Because it is of the Portuguese, father of broad seas, to want, to be able to
simply: be nothing. And be someone in a sea of people. Be a person. Flood.
Dry out. Cry. Float. Come up and dive in again. Be fished. Be gutted and
survive: the whole sea, or the empty destroyed waterfront – The whole, or its
nothing (In D. João Infante de Portugal, Message, Fernando Pessoa).
HEROES DO AR // HEROES OF THE AIR
A Sardinha é do POVO… Tal como são as memórias da nossa História.
Em 2012, a Sardinha envelheceu e contou uma história sobre um feito
realizado com as velas da Cruz de Cristo, os Heroes do Ar. Sacadura Cabral
e Gago Coutinho, deram enorme contributo à História da aeronáutica, ao
realizarem a Travessia Aérea do Atlântico Sul em 1922.
The Sardine belongs to the PEOPLE.... As do the memories of our History.
In 2012, the Sardine aged and told a story about a feat accomplished with
the sails of the Cross of Christ, the Heroes of the Air. Sacadura Cabral and
Gago Coutinho greatly contributed to the History of aviation when crossing
the South Atlantic by air in 1922.
RAINHA // QUEEN
A Sardinha! A Rainha!
Elevar a Sardinha a Rainha, dar-lhe poder e soberania, foi um dos objetivos.
De copas, porque o coração está simbolicamente associado ao amor, neste
caso concreto por uma cidade que cheira a manjerico e é beijada pelo Tejo.
Sardine! The Queen!
To promote the Sardine to Queen, giving her power and sovereignty, was
one of the goals. Of hearts, because the heart is symbolically associated with
love; in this case, for a city that smells of basil and is kissed by the Tagus.
MARIA PENTEADEIRA // MARIA PENTEADEIRA
A Sardinha Maria Penteadeira surge de um objeto que ultrapassa o limite do
desenho, sendo físico, de uso quotidiano.
A ideia de pente, objeto banal quase em desuso, com uma nova forma sempre
reconhecível e apetecível, transforma-se em Sardinha das Festas de Lisboa.
The Comber Jane Sardine arises from an object that exceeds the limit of design,
being a physical everyday item. The idea of the comb, a banal object almost
fallen into disuse, with a new form, always recognizable and delicious, becomes
the Sardine of the “Festas de Lisboa” (Lisbon Festivities).
AMPARO // AMPARO
Proprietária da famosa casa de Fado Mas que grande lata a tua!, Sardinha
Amparo é fadista de alma e coração. Dona de uma voz inconfundível,
põe no Fado a sua vida, os seus desamores e amores. Especialmente os
amores... Amparo é conhecida por ter casado 7 vezes e meia, sempre com
peixes bastante mais novos.
Owner of the famous Fado house “Mas que grande lata a tua!”, the Amparo
Sardine is a Fado singer, heart and soul. With a distinctive voice, she puts Fado
in her life, her loves and her hatreds. Especially her loves... Amparo is known
to have married 7 and a half times, always with significantly younger fish.
TENÓRIO // TENÓRIO
Sardinha Tenório é um verdadeiro portento da guitarra portuguesa.
Conhecido no universo mais exclusivo do Fado por ser um bon vivant
irresistivelmente sedutor e confesso amante da noite e do escabeche, Tenório
transborda charme por todas as escamas. E não há dourada, tainha ou raia
que resista aos seus encantos.
The Tenório Sardine is a true portent of the Portuguese guitar. Known in the
most exclusive world of Fado for being a bon vivant, irresistibly seductive
and a confessed lover of the nightlife and “escabeche” (pickle), Tenório
oozes charm through all of his scales. And no gilt-head bream, mullet or ray
can resist his charms.
DIZERES // SAYINGS
A iconografia da Sardinha leva-nos de imediato para um âmbito popular e
festivo onde cabe, espontaneamente, a tradição oral. Através de um grafismo assente em expressões tipicamente portuguesas, a Sardinha Dizeres
reaviva um imaginário vivaço partilhado por diferentes gerações.
The iconography of the Sardine leads us immediately to a popular and festive environment where oral tradition spontaneously fits in. Through graphite
based on typical Portuguese expressions, the Dizeres Sardine revives a lively
imagery shared by different generations.
À MESA // AT THE TABLE
A Sardinha, como elemento de identidade de um povo tão sui generis, é
aqui retratada como figura que transcende o seu próprio fito. Disfarçada
de padrão de toalha, e como que observadora privilegiada, procura a
harmonia entre a sátira e a razão. Simultaneamente, constitui uma tentativa
de resumo das idiossincrasias das gentes pelo pregão popular.
The Sardine, as an element of identity of a very sui generis people, is here
portrayed as a figure that transcends its own purpose. Disguised as a
tablecloth pattern, and as a privileged observer, it seeks harmony between
satire and reason. At the same time, it is an attempt to summarize the
idiosyncrasies of people towards popular trading.
SILVA // SILVA
A primeira Sardinha não foi experiência de laboratório. Não saiu ‘viva
da costa’ de um think tank publicitário. Saltou da lota para o scanner e
transformou-se num caso sério de comunicação de um atelier de design
editorial, a Silvadesigners. Lisboa oferece-lhe honras de marca da cidade e
o povo pinta-a todos os anos aos milhares.
The first Sardine was not a laboratory experiment. She didn’t come out ‘all
nice and lively’ from some advertising think tank. She jumped from the fish
auction onto the scanner and turned into a serious case of communication
by an editorial design studio, Silvadesigners. Lisbon offers her the honours
of a city trademark and people painting her every year by the thousands.
TEJO // TAGUS
A Sardinha Tejo tem a melhor vista de Lisboa. Do rio vê as pessoas, os
telhados e o Castelo, vê a ponte e os barcos, as partidas e os regressos
que fazem a cidade viver. É uma Sardinha de sorte – e, como dizia Amália,
Tem água, sabe nadar / Quem me dera ser sardinha.
The Tagus Sardine has the best view of Lisbon. From the river she sees the people,
the roofs and the Castle; she sees the bridge and the boats, and the departures and
returns that make the city live. She is a lucky Sardine – and, as Amália used to say,
She has water, she knows how to swim / I wish I were a sardine.
EGÍPCIA // EGYPTIAN
Esta manjua é fruto de uma história de amor entre uma clupeidae e um
arenque. Perdeu a sua única espadana à nascença, devido a má nutriçao
durante uma estadia na Sardenha. Nunca aceitou ter de ser pelágica e
perdeu todo o seu ómega, tornando-se uma quebra-corações. Foi avistada
pela última vez em Lisboa.
This manjua is the result of a love story between a herring and a clupeidae.
She lost her only belfry at birth due to malnutrition during her stay in
Sardinia. She has never been happy with having to be pelagic and lost all
her omega, becoming a heartbreaker. She was last seen in Lisbon.
TÓNI // TÓNI
Tóni é uma Sardinha dada ao galanteio, que nasce como homenagem ao
fura-vidas lisboeta. De tipo gingão e atrevido, brejeiro e com sangue na
guelra, Tóni faz a vida a biscates. Calçada acima, travessa abaixo, segue
ligeiro, de olhar atento e guloso, enquanto distribui piropos às meninas que
passam - Eh carapau!
Tóni is a Sardine prone to gallantry, born as a tribute to the Lisbon hustler.
A raunchy pushy sort, with a loud mouth and fire in his belly, Tón i makes a
living out of odd jobs. Up one street, down an alleyway, he walks nimble,
with a watchful thirsty eye, while distributing flirts to the girls that pass by –
“Eh carapau” “hey mackerel!”
UKIYOE // UKIYOE
A Iwashi-Nobori é uma Sardinha inspirada no Koinoboshi japonês.
O Koinoboshi é o dia das crianças, e a carpa é o simbolo de força,
persistência, bravura e sucesso. Esta Sardinha portuguesa, pintada ao estilo
Ukiyoe, deseja força, persistência, bravura e sucesso às crianças portuguesas.
Iwashi-Nobori is a sardine inspired by the Japanese Koinoboshi. Koinoboshi
is the Children’s Day, and the carp is the symbol of strength, persistence,
bravery and success. This Portuguese sardine, painted Ukiyoe-style, wishes
strength, persistence, bravery and success to Portuguese children.

A coleção Sardinha by Bordallo Pinheiro resulta da colaboração entre a Fábrica de Faianças das Caldas da Rainha, fundada em 1884 por Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro, e a EGEAC
/Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, que, desde 2011, organiza o Concurso Sardinhas das Festas de Lisboa. Esta iniciativa, aberta a todos os participantes, tem originado um notável
número de propostas criativas, de entre as quais foram selecionadas as que integram a presente coleção. Iniciada com 22 modelos distintos (21 oriundos do concurso, acrescidos
da sardinha original de Bordallo), a sua composição será revista anualmente, com a introdução de novas propostas criativas e a descontinuação de outras. Cada ano representará,
por isso, uma ocasião irrepetível de adquirir alguns destes modelos. Adicionalmente, serão criadas edições especiais limitadas em colaboração com criadores internacionais.
The Sardine collection by Bordallo Pinheiro results from a collaboration between the Earthenware Factory of Caldas da Rainha, founded in 1884 by Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro, and
EGEAC/Municipality of Lisbon, which has been organising, since 2011, the Sardines competition within the Lisbon Festivities. This initiative, open to all participants, has resulted in
a remarkable number of creative proposals, from which we chose those that make up this collection. Having started with 22 different models (21 originating from the competition,
plus the original Bordallo sardine), its composition will be reviewed annually, with the introduction of new creative proposals and the discontinuation of others. Each year
is therefore an unrepeatable opportunity to acquire some of these models. Additionally, special limited editions will be created in collaboration with international designers.
RAPHAEL BORDALLO PINHEIRO
Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro (Lisboa, 1846 -1905) foi um dos mais notáveis e versáteis artistas portugueses, tendo deixado uma vastíssima obra em várias áreas.
Foi desenhador, aguarelista, ilustrador, decorador, caricaturista, jornalista e ceramista. O seu nome está intimamente ligado à caricatura portuguesa, à qual deu um
grande impulso qualitativo, elevando-a a um estatuto até então nunca atingido. É o autor da figura do Zé Povinho, que se viria a instituir, até hoje, como símbolo do
povo português. Fundou a Fábrica de Faianças das Caldas da Rainha em 1884, responsável por um legado em cerâmica ímpar a nível mundial.
Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro was one of the most remarkable and versatile Portuguese artists, having left a vast acquis in various artistic areas. He was a designer,
water-colourist, illustrator, decorator, cartoonist, journalist and ceramicist. His name is closely linked to the Portuguese caricature, to which he gave a qualitative boost,
elevating it to a status hitherto achieved. He is the author of the “Zé Povinho” figure, which later became a symbol of the Portuguese people, until today. He founded the
Earthenware Factory of Caldas da Rainha in 1884 and is responsible for a worldwide unmatched ceramics legacy.
ANA GOMES
Nasceu no Funchal em 1988 e é mestre em Desenho pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa. Desde muito cedo deixou que o gosto pelo desenho
definisse o seu percurso profissional. Em 2010 iniciou-se profissionalmente nas áreas da ilustração, modelação e animação 3D.
Ana Gomes was born in Funchal in 1988 and has a Masters in Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. From early on, she allowed her passion
for drawing to define her career. In 2010 she started to work in the fields of illustration, modelling and 3D animation.
ANA MIRANDA
Nasceu em Carvoeiro, a 21 de Novembro de 1987, e aí viveu até cumprir o Ensino Secundário. Começou o seu percurso académico em Canterbury, Inglaterra, onde
realizou um ano pré-universitário em Artes, mas resolveu continuar a sua formação em Portugal. Em 2009, licenciou-se em Design Gráfico pela Escola Superior de Artes
e Design das Caldas da Rainha. Passou por Lisboa, Évora e, mais recentemente, Bordéus, onde realizou um curto estágio ao abrigo do programa Leonardo Da Vinci.
Rita Miranda was born in Lagos on November 21st, 1987, and lived there until finishing high school. She began her academic career in Canterbury, England, where
she did a pre-university year in Arts, but decided to continue her studies in Portugal. In 2009 she graduated in Graphic Design from the School of Arts and Design of
Caldas da Rainha. She has lived in Lisbon, Évora and, more recently, Bordeaux, where she interned shortly, under the Leonardo Da Vinci program.
ANA SOFIA GONÇALVES
Nasceu em Lisboa em 1979. Licenciou-se em Pintura na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa e expõe na Galeria Trema desde 2005. O seu trabalho
engloba a ilustração, a escultura e a cenografia. Recentemente ilustrou o livro Queres namorar comigo?, de João Ricardo, e realizou a cenografia do programa
É a vida Alvim, e do espetáculo O meu pai é um Homem-Pássaro.

FILIPA OLIVEIRA
É natural do Porto. Designer gráfica, estudou na ESAD de Matosinhos, onde descobriu o gosto pelas artes gráficas, pela ilustração e pelo design de produto. Trabalha
em projetos editoriais e corporativos e em web design.
Filipa Oliveira is from Porto. She is a Graphic Designer, having studied at ESAD in Matosinhos, where she discovered her passion for graphic arts, illustration and
product design. She works on editorial and corporate projects and in web design.
FREDERICO LENCASTRE
Nasceu no Porto, em 1981. Em 2004, licenciou-se em Design de Comunicação pela ESAD. No mesmo ano estreou-se na ilustração, criando a posteriori a marca
Caricatu. Em 2005, iniciou a sua atividade profissional na Editora ASA. Actualmente trabalha no departamento editorial do Grupo LeYa.
Frederico Lencastre was born in Porto in 1981. In 2004, he graduated from ESAD in Communication Design. In the same year he debuted in illustration, later creating
the Caricatu brand. In 2005, he started his professional activity at Editora ASA (publishers). He currently works in the editorial department of the LeYa Group.
ISABEL COLHER
Alfacinha de gema, nasceu em Lisboa em agosto de 1968. Fundadora da Tardoz, oficina dedicada à azulejaria portuguesa, gosta especialmente de materiais
tradicionais e de trabalhar com as mãos. Por isso faz conservação, restauro e produção de réplicas de azulejos, e também cerâmica de autor.
Isabel Colher was born and raised in Lisbon in August 1968. Founder of Tardoz, a workshop dedicated to the Portuguese art of tiles, she particularly enjoys traditional
materials and working with her hands. That’s why she does conservation, restoration and production of tile replicas as well as signature pottery.
JAIME FERRAZ
Nasceu em Lisboa, em 1986, onde vive e trabalha como designer gráfico e ilustrador. Dedica-se também à fotografia. Os seus trabalhos já foram publicados
e premiados internacionalmente.
Jaime Ferraz was born in Lisbon in 1986, where he lives and works as a graphic designer and illustrator. He is also dedicated to photography. His works have been
published and awarded internationally.
MARIA MIGUEL
Nasceu no dia 8 de Maio de 1987 e licenciou-se em Arte e Design pela Escola Superior de Educação de Coimbra. Como criativa tem vários heterónimos: “a maria miguel,
cara de papel”, assina ilustrações e pinturas; “maria miguel, a designer graficamente thinker“, ornamenta o pensamento prático; Maria Miguel Correia rubrica como cidadã.
Maria Miguel as born on May 8th, 1987 and graduated in Art and Design from the Higher School of Education of Coimbra. As a designer she has several heteronyms:
“maria miguel, paper face” when she signs illustrations and paintings; “maria miguel, the graphically thinker designer”, when she decorates practical thought; and
Maria Miguel Correia, when signs as a citizen.
MIGUEL AMARAL
Nasceu em Setúbal, em Agosto de 1968. Desde muito cedo, a ilustração e a pintura fizeram-se notar como aptidões pessoais. Actualmente dedica-se à publicidade
e ilustração na área da aeronáutica, sendo colaborador habitual da Força Aérea Portuguesa.
Miguel Amaral was born in Setúbal in August 1968. From early on, illustration and painting stood out as personal skills. Currently he is dedicated to advertising, design
and illustration in the field of aeronautics, being a regular collaborator of the Portuguese Air Force.
NELSON HENRIQUES
Nasceu na ilha da Madeira em 1982 e é licenciado em Design/ Projetação pela Universidade da Madeira (2004). Designer gráfico de profissão e ilustrador
de histórias infantis, colaborou com vários escritores e tem diversos livros publicados.
Nelson Henriques was born on the island of Madeira in 1982 and graduated in Design/ Project Design from the University of Madeira (2004). A graphic designer by
profession and illustrator of children’s stories, he collaborated with several writers and has published several books.
NUNO CARVALHINHO
É natural da Sertã, tem 37 anos e é arquiteto. Rumou a Coimbra para estudar Artes e Arquitetura. Atualmente trabalha em Castelo Branco num atelier privado
de Arquitetura. Realizou alguns trabalhos na área das Artes Plásticas e já colaborou em exposições em Coimbra, Porto e Lisboa.
Nuno Miguel Lourenço Carvalhinho is originally from Sertã. He is 37 years old and is an architect. He went to Coimbra to study Art and Architecture. He is currently working

Nasceu em Maputo, em 1976. É licenciado em Design de Comunicação pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa. A viver em Lisboa, cofundou
o atelier Flatland Design, em 2005, onde exerce atualmente a sua atividade, que associa à de formador na ETIC. Coordena e participa em vários projetos colaborativos
no âmbito das artes gráficas.
Paulo Freitas was born in Maputo in 1976 and graduated in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. While living in Lisbon, he

RAQUEL MATOS
Nasceu no Porto, em 1987. Concluiu o Mestrado em Teatro na ESAD, vertente Produção, em 2011. Foi booker da Agência FRM e fundadora da empresa LançaTempo.
Trabalhou como produtora nas companhias Artistas Incultos e Plataforma 285. Atualmente, é Artist Manager e Diretora de Produção na Companhia João Garcia Miguel.
Raquel Matos as born in Porto in 1987. She completed a Masters in Theatre (in the field of Production) at ESAD, in 2011. She was a booker at the FRM Agency and
founder of the company LançaTempo. She worked as a producer for the companies: Artistas Incultos and Plataforma 285. She is currently Artist Manager and director
of production at the João Garcia Miguel Company.

SOFIA FISCHER
Nasceu em 1987 a dois dias do Natal, facto que ainda hoje tenta perdoar aos seus pais. Designer de comunicação, licenciada pela Faculdade de Belas Artes da
Universidade de Lisboa concluiu em 2012 uma pós-graduação em livro infantil (Universidade Católica). Vive em Lisboa com uma gata e um humano (por esta ordem)
e todos os dias vê o Castelo de S. Jorge pela janela.
Sofia Fisher was born in 1987 two days before Christmas, a fact that she is still trying to forgive her parents for. She is a communication designer, having graduated
from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon in 2012 and completed a post-graduate course in children’s books (University of Coimbra). She lives in Lisbon
with a cat and a human (in that order) and every day she sees the “Castelo de São Jorge” (Castle of St. George) through the window.
TIAGO ALBUQUERQUE
Nasceu em Lisboa, em 1982. É licenciado em Artes Plásticas/ Escultura pela Faculdade wwwde Belas Artes de Lisboa, e em BD e Ilustração pela Ar.Co Lisboa.
O seu trabalho divide-se entre ilustração, animação, banda desenhada e música. Colaborou com diversos jornais e revistas nacionais e ilustrou também para livros
e capas de discos. Realizou o filme de animação Diário de uma Inspectora, com argumento de João Paulo Cotrim, e My Music, com argumento de Luísa Costa Gomes.
Como músico toca com as bandas Voodoo Marmalade, Soaked Lamb, Muri Muri, PuntzkaPuntz, Garlic Naan, Afrodite, Quiabo.
Tiago Miguel Gonçalves Albuquerque was born in Lisbon in 1982. He graduated in Fine Arts/Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon, and in Comic Strips and
Illustration from Ar.Co, Lisbon. His work involves illustration, animation, comics and music. He collaborated with several national newspapers and magazines and also illustrated
for books and album covers. He made the animated film “Diário de uma Inspectora” (Diary of an Inspector) with screenplay by João Paulo Cotrim, and My Music, with
screenplay by Luísa Costa Gomes. As a musician, he plays with the bands Voodoo Marmalade, Soaked Lamb, Muri Muri, PuntzkaPuntz, Garlic Naan, Afrodite and Quiabo.
VERA VALENTIM
É alfacinha e licenciada em Design Visual pelo IADE. Tem trabalhado em criação de marcas, design gráfico e digital. É criativa e apaixonada por Lisboa, tendo já
organizado uma exposição de registos fotográficos da cidade. Não sabe dizer que não a uma ginginha, ouvir um faduncho ou bailar no Santo António.
Vera Valentim was born in Lisbon and has a degree in Visual Design from IADE. She has worked in branding and graphic and digital design. She is creative and
passionate about Lisbon, having already organized an exhibition of photographic records of the city. She cannot say no to a “ginginha” (bitter cherry liqueur), to
listening to a “Faduncho” (a little Fado) or dancing in the Santo António Festivities.
YUICHI FUKUDA
Nasceu em Osaka, em 1979, onde terminou o curso de Belas Artes na Universidade de Arte de Osaka, em 2001. Hoje, mora em Lisboa. Trabalhou como designer
gráfico em publicidade durante 3 anos. Desde 2004 que se dedica a trabalhos mais criativos. Apresenta trabalho na Europa a partir de 2009.
Yuichi Fukuda was born in Osaka in 1979, where he finished the course in Fine Arts at the Osaka University of Art, in 2001. Today, he lives in Lisbon. He has worked
as a graphic designer in advertising for 3 years. Since 2004 he has dedicated himself to more creative works. He has presented work in Europe since 2009.
