Iniciou o seu trabalho na área do desenho para
conceituadas
revistas
e
jornais,
como
o
De
Standaard e De Morgen, tendo feito a sua primeira
capa para a New Yorker em 1989. Desde 1996, faz
caricaturas para Paris Match a cada duas semanas,
alternando com Sempé. Em 1997 foi contratado pela
cidade de Bruxelas para criar obras de arte para a
renovação da estação Maelbeek. Desde então, tem feito encomendas públicas
na cidade em uma base regular. O segmento principal dos seus projectos é
uma linguagem clara e directa, demonstrando uma essência bem-humorada e
altamente poética.

Planeados para 2012-2013
Design of a housefront for a depot and reading room Plantin Moretus Museum
and gallery of prints in collaboration with NoA architects, Antwerp.
2012
Art integration in collaboration with M. José Van Hee and Robbrecht and Daem
architects for the marketplace renovation in Deinze, Belgium. A design of 4
color faces made in stone that refer to the 4 seasons. Realisation is planned for
summer 2012.
2011
Art integration in warehouse renovation to offices, Brouwersvliet-Giststraat,
Antwerp, Belgium. A collaboration with Stramien architects. Client: Jan Van Den
Nieuwenhuijzen, CEO SDWorx.
Art integration for 10 new pavillions, renovation project Borgerstein, Mechelen,
Belgium. A collaboration with SUM architects.
Realisation of 20 flags (300 by 390) for the city of Bruges. These flags will be
exposed to the public in the coming 10 years from May till August in the centre
of Bruges.
Cement tile design for “Carrelages du Marais”.
