Este concerto marca o início da Tournée de apresentação
do novo álbum de Viviane intitulado “Dia Novo”. O título assenta no nome de um poema que José Luis Peixoto escreveu
especialmente para este álbum. É um disco com raízes marcadamente portuguesas, que tem como convidado principal
o Fado e a guitarra portuguesa, visitando aqui e ali a “Chanson”. Dona de uma das vozes mais carismáticas da atual música portuguesa, Viviane promete um belo encontro entre a
música e a poesia onde voltará, como tantas vezes já nos tem
habituado, a entregar-se de alma e coração para nos proporcionar uma excelente noite e um excelente espetáculo.
This concert sets the beginning of the tour in which Viviane
will be presenting her new album ‘Dia Novo’. A poem especially written by José Luis Peixoto for this album gave it its
name. This record was clearly inspired by Portuguese roots,
in which Fado and the Portuguese guitar play an important
role, interspersed by the French ‘Chanson’. Owner of one of
the most recognisable voices of the Portuguese music scene,
Viviane will bring music and poetry together, and - as many
times before - will deliver an excellent evening and a remarkable performance wholeheartedly.

Desde sempre fascinado pelo universo pimba, Bruno Nogueira
propõe-se dar outra vida a essas canções, juntando Manuela
Azevedo, vocalista dos Clã, e outros músicos que fizeram arranjos de jazz e pop onde eles eram pouco prováveis. O pimba
é unificador. Às escondidas, para não parecer mal. Seja numa
festa da Quinta do Lago, seja no meio de um churrasco em
Massamá, aos primeiros acordes de uma música de Quim Barreiros haverá uma debandada a correr para a pista de dança e
a cantar o refrão em alegre e alta voz. Deixem o Pimba em Paz
é um concerto e um espetáculo de desconstrução. E já não é
pouco.
Bruno Nogueira has always been fascinated by the ‘pimba’ universe. In ‘Deixem o Pimba em Paz’ (‘Leave Pimba Alone’), Bruno
Nogueira, Clã’s singer Manuela Azevedo and other musicians
gave these songs another lease of life with unlikely jazz and
pop arrangements. Pimba is unifying. But secretly, so it doesn’t
look bad. Whether at a party in the upmarket Quinta do Lago
or at a barbeque in suburban Massamá, the first chords of any
song by Quim Barreiros will cause revellers to rush to the dance
floor and happily belt out the chorus. ‘Deixem o Pimba em Paz’
is a deconstructive show. And that’s plenty.

Fernando Mendes é Rogério, segurança de um banco, que
numa sexta-feira se prepara para um dia normal de trabalho
ao acompanhar um casal de clientes ao interior da caixa forte.
Minutos depois de entrarem, a porta da caixa forte fecha-se
automaticamente, deixando o segurança e o casal de clientes
encurralados no seu interior... “Um espetáculo que é um espetáculo” assim o define Fernando Mendes, que volta à cidade
olhanense com a sua habitual boa disposição. A não perder!
Fernando Mendes plays Rogério, a security guard working at
a bank, who is about to have another regular Friday at work,
accompanying a couple to the vault. Few minutes later, the
door shuts automatically, leaving the security guard and the
couple trapped inside. ‘A spectacular spectacle’ in the words
of Fernando Mendes, who return to Olhão with his usual
good humour. Unmissable!

‘2’ is a photographic work which resulted from two different
journeys between Mértola and Morocco. Two insights toing
and froing in a similar route from two distant, and yet close
cultures. Travel images are like two brief notes of a logbook
that take us to ephemeral moments, glimpses which slowly
recreate the memory of a place or a person. Exhibition ‘2’ is
comprised of these fragments, presented in various slides
simultaneously which anyone can see by following any trajectory.

“2” é um trabalho fotográfico fruto de duas jornadas distintas
entre Mértola e Marrocos. Dois olhares, que num percurso
similar se afastam e se aproximam de duas culturas que estão tão distantes e tão próximas. As imagens num contexto
de viagem são como pequenas notas de um diário de bordo
que nos transportam para momentos efémeros, vislumbres
que aos poucos reconstroem a memória de um local ou de
alguém. A exposição “2” é composta por esses fragmentos,
apresentados em vários diapositivos simultâneos onde é
permitido ao espetador vaguear pelas imagens criando o seu
próprio trajeto.

“Sem um tu não pode haver um eu” começa sob a luz de “Lanterna Mágica”, a autobiografia de Ingmar Bergman, cineasta que
inspirou este solo criado e interpretado por Paulo Ribeiro. Nesta
coreografia, que torna inesquecível o tema “Insensatez”, de
Robert Wyatt, há a dança de um coração em carne viva. Um eu
que quer conjugar a segunda pessoa do singular, como quem
diz “sou tu, também tu”, mais do que “sou teu”. Há mais entrega
que posse. Entre gestos lentos e límpidos, passos periclitantes e
desmoronadiços .
The beginning of “Sem um tu não pode haver um eu” (‘With
a “You” there cannot be an “I”’) starts with ‘The Magic Lantern’,
the autobiography penned by Ingmar Bergman, the filmmaker who inspired this solo created and interpreted by Paulo
Ribeiro. In this choreography, in which Robert Wyatt’s ‘Insensatez’ will not be easily forgotten, a throbbing heart dances.
An ‘I’ that wishes to conjugate the second person of the plural,
as if saying ‘I am You, also You’ more than ‘I am yours’. Dedication takes over ownership. Paulo Ribeiro maps affections,
between limpid and lingering motions, fragile and crumbling
steps, and seismic movements.

São Martinho, o mais antigo evento popular que se realiza em

When watching the amazing performances by The Peking
Acrobats one immediately thinks the laws of physics are not
universal. There are those people who possess the dexterity,
gracefulness and the skills with which seemingly impossible
acrobatics are performed. It is not just the elegant, sophisticated numbers which receive applause. Indeed the courage
of these acrobats, who risk their lives and challenge the impossible on stage, wins anyone’s heart.

Sawn Lake tells the story of a prince who is looking for the
ideal woman. He sees the feminine gracefulness and charm
in the figure of a swan, with whom he falls madly in love.
However, the swan was no less than a beautiful enchanted
princess who had been transfigured, a story befitting of real
romantic poetry. A great night of ballet not to be missed!
