Inês Guedes
In 1998 she began the graduation in architecture, and while studding was
invited to participate in diverse architectural projects. In 2004 she was also
invited to be co-author with Professors Pedro Bandeira and Bruno Figueiredo
for the competition for the Music Conservatory of Coimbra.
The graduation ended with a final thesis on the subject Society, Public Space
& Architecture. On that subject she was invited to speak at the lecture “Nova
Geração de Respostas Sociais” (new generation of social responses) in which
she presented the search of a proximity of the architect to society nowadays.
In 2005 she worked as architectural assistant in Rotterdam, Holland, at the
office Korteknie Stuhlmacher Architecten. From 2006 to 2008 worked in a
portuguese architecture publisher, Dafne Editora, and also as architectural
assistant in the office of Nuno Abrantes architect. And from 2008 to present
worked as architect in London at Hopkins Architects.
