JPIC News in Campos Novos, Canoas, Brazil
Catechesis, together with the Missionary Team of the Parish Saint John the Baptist, of Campos Novos, has
performed in the last year, an intense work of missionary visits to the neighborhoods of the Parish. This Team
blesses the houses, taking the Word of God, listening to their needs and, to the extent possible, forwarding the
needs for the competent sectors, as for example basic needs oriented for Social Assistance, Children´s Pastoral
and Health Pastoral. It is a beautiful, difficult and worthwhile work. The photos were taken on the day of
Missioning in the community hall. This community doesn´t have a Chapel yet.
