Tests
Connection
• After connecting to the power
network, charging begins and
will be indicated by the LED
display. After approximately
20 hours of charging the
light is operational. For the
battery to reach full capacity,
up to 5 charging/discharging
operations may be required
(battery remanence).
• In order to ensure proper
initial setup, at least one
discharging cycle must be
carried out (disconnect from
the network for 3 hours) to
verify that the specified battery
capacity has been reached.
Autotest
• According to the regulations,
the electronics performs the
following tests automatically:
- Function test : 28 days after
switching the supply on. Test
duration: 5min;
- Capacity test: The 12th
function test runs as duration
test.Test duration: 3h.
• If the built-in battery
is completely or partly
discharged, the
automatic capacity test is
delayed by up to 24 hours.
Manuel Test
• By pressing the “test”
button (1 sec), a manual test
is triggered. The test will end
automatically after 5 minutes
and has no effect on the
scheduled test times. Pressing
the Button for more than 3 sec.
until the green LED is flashing
or Maintainedly lightning the
test will be interrupted..
Function display (LED)
• Operating conditions and
malfunctions are displayed
according to the following list:
• Boost charge - green flashing
(1 s cycle);
• Normal charge - green
Maintainedly;
• Emergency operation (power
off) - off;
• Function test runs - orange
flashing (0.5 s cycle);
• Capacity test runs - orange
flashing (1 s cycle);
• Charge / Bad Battery - red
Maintainedly;
• Defective lamp - red flashing
(1 s cycle);
• Battery fault - red flashing
(0.5 s cycle).
Quit
• The errors determined by a
test (red LED) will be displayed
until a new operation condition
is detected by another test.
• To reset the error indication
after correcting the error, it
must triggered a test again
(manually or automatically).

General conditions
Installation/Maintenance
• The installation and
maintenance of the different
products must be performed by
a qualified professional.
The installation conditions
described in the installation
instructions and the operating
conditions mentioned in the
product datasheet must be duly
guaranteed.
Osvaldo Matos cannot be
held liable for the incorrect
assembly, installation,
maintenance, repair or handling
of its products.
Osvaldo Matos cannot be held
liable for unsuitable fittings.
Osvaldo Matos cannot be held
liable for product alteration or
for instalation instructions not
being duly followed.
O/M products are prepared
for installation in areas with
ambient temperatures between
0ºC and 35ºC.
Osvaldo Matos recommends
that any false ceilings intended
for the placement of recessed
products should only be
erected after the products to
be mounted have been chosen.
The same applies for the
opening of slots to mount this
type of product. Osvaldo Matos
recommends reinforcing the
ceiling close to the Mounting
cutout according to the product
characteristics.
Performance
• The performance of the
product will only be guaranteed
if its handling, use, installation
and maintenance are performed
according to the supplied
instructions.
Power values in products with
LED Light Source may have a
10% variation on the indicated
value.
Flux indicated for LED systems
is a mean value, for Tj=25°C.
Photometry results are
obtained by testing a standard
product of each range, in
the laboratory under ideal
conditions.
Sales conditions
• All electrical components
included in the products are of
high quality.
Warranty
• O/M products have a 3-year
warranty from the delivery date
for any proven construction
or manufacturing defects,
provided the transport
conditions, installation
conditions described in the
installation instructions and the
operating conditions mentioned
in the product datasheet
are duly guaranteed. Parts
and components requiring
replacement due to normal
wear are excluded from this
warranty.
The products must be installed
and maintained by qualified
personnel in accordance with
the accompanying instructions,
and they cannot be altered
or repaired without the prior
written permission of Osvaldo
Matos.
Osvaldo Matos must be
formally notified of any defect
that is found and covered by
the warranty.
Osvaldo Matos decides
whether to repair and/or
replace the product for the
same or an equivalent product,
subject to the changes
arising from the technological
evolution of the manufacturing
process at that time, unless
another solution is imposed by
mandatory law.
Returned products will only
be accepted within 10 days
of their delivery, and only for
manufacturing defects that
are confirmed by the factory,
unless another conditions
are stipulated by mandatory
law. Hence, we recommend
that products are checked on
delivery.
