Purchase of Air Tickets for Future Delivery
Multiplus S.A. (BM&FBovespa: MPLU3) hereby announces that the funds advanced to TAM Airlines
in February 2010 for the purchase of air tickets to be delivered to its network participants, totaling
approximately R$622.1 million, have been fully used up by the end of June of 2011 as disclosed
on the second quarter results.
Aiming to maximize returns for its shareholders, the Company has agreed to make a further
advance to TAM Airlines for the purchase of air tickets for future delivery, totaling R$400.0 million,
obtaining a discount on the price established in the agreement. This discount was based on market
rates.
