Water
repellence or
waterproof
• Fluorocarbon finishes (only water repellence!)
•
e.g. with TUBIGUARD 42-AT for PA raincoats
•
Alternative: FC-free with TUBIGUARD ECO-PHOB
• Membrane laminations
e.g. LAMETHAN LB 15 T + LAMETHAN ADH-1
• Microporous stable foam coatings
with TUBICOAT MP + Topcoat TUBICOAT TCW!
• Combined FC finishes with:

Soil repellent
Soil release
• Fluorocarbon finishes
Conventional FC´s from the TUBIGUARD range
(optional as C-6 chemistry -> TG 25-F) for
primary protection
• Soil release FC finish
Secondary protection for optimal soil removal
e.g. TUBIGUARD SRO
Tests:
• Oil drop test AATCC 118
• Water drop test (Teflon/CHT Standard)
• Perhaps Tchibo test AATCC 175

• Fluorocarbon finishes
Work protection
special FC, TUBIGUARD CR for protection against
liquid chemicals acc. to DIN EN 368
• Two-layer paste coating
with paste compound TUBICOAT MEA (+ FR treatment
with APYROL CEP) for liquid metal repellence acc. to
DIN EN 373
• Foil lamination
With aluminium-steamed PES foil
LAMETHAN ALU R 12 with heat-reflecting properties,
for heat protection

Vector
protection
Vectors transmit germs from e.g.
mosquitoes, ticks, lice etc.
• Anti-mosquito protection
One-side instable foam coating with
TUBICOAT MOP + BEMATIN PER 40
(optionally including Comfort Control
Finish!)
Application on articles made of cotton
or cotton blends.

Functional clothing
Wearer comfort
• Comfort Control Coating
One-side application of fluorocarbons to
obtain the bi-functional properties of
clothing articles.
The outside of the fabric becomes
water-repellent by the hydrophobic
coating. The inside of the fabric,
maintains its hydrophilic character and
makes humidity be fast absorbed.

Functional clothing
Comfort Control
characteristics
• Dry wearing comfort by a rapid drying
• Fast humidity absorption
• Water repellent and soil repellent front
side
• No sweat or salt marks
• The handle is not affected
• High breathability
• High wash permanence

Comfort Control
Application
technology
• One-sided application by instable foam
or paste coating
• Knife over air coating (woven fabric)
• Screen coating (knit fabrics , also highly
elastic fabrics!)
• Optional hydrophilisation of fabric inside
by foam application with TUBICOAT
