Renovations in the School Building
Thanks be to God the Auditorium Floor Project is
underway and will be a great finish to the
renewal of our school. Thanks to all our
parishioners who helped in this big project.
Since the last bulletin we also had some more
painters showing their artistic skills - Pat Kalman
and Jeanne Negron-Garcia. God bless them for
their help as well as all the others. Thanks to the
effort and sweat of many volunteers, our building
is becoming beautiful again and is something we
can all be proud of!
Hector Lopez spent two days with pressure
washers last week: a) cleaning of the front of the
Holy Infancy Gift Shop and b) cleaning the School
entryway and the cement wall band around the
building. It definitely cleaned off many years of
dirt, which enhances the building greatly!
RCIA and Children’s Religious
Education
It is time for adults and children to start preparing
for the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults and
Children’s Religious Education! The summer is
quickly fading and the start of these two important formation programs on September 10th
and 11th will be here before you know it!
Sr Moira will be away until August 25th, but you
can prepare to register on the weekend of August
27th-28th and onward. Do not wait! Jesus is
calling you!
NOTE: New Procedure for all bulletin
announcements - They must be in two weeks prior
to announcing them in the bulletin, first for approval
by Father Andy and then they will be announced.

VISITAS AOS HOSPITAIS
Quando alguém estiver internado no hospital,
por favor avisem ao hospital que vocês são
membros da Igreja Santa Infância. Avisem
também a reitoria se vocês querem uma visita
dos sacerdotes.
Renovações no Salao da Escola
Graças a Deus o Projeto de remodelacao do auditório
está em andamento e será um ótimo acabamento para a
renovação da nossa escola. Graças a todos os nossos
paroquianos que ajudaram neste grande projeto.
Desde o último boletim também tivemos mais alguns
pintores que mostraram as suas habilidades artísticas Pat Kalman e Jeanne Negron-Garcia. Deus os abençoe
pela vossa ajuda, assim como todos os outros. Graças ao
esforço e suor de muitos voluntários, o nosso edifício está
a ficar bonito novamente e é algo que todos podemos
estar orgulhosos!
Hector Lopez passou dois dias da mesma semana com a
maquina de pressão a lavar a escola Santa Infância por
fora e a loja (Gift Shop). Ele definitivamente limpou
muitos anos de sujeira. Ja parece outro predio!
RCIA e Ensino Religioso das
Crianças
É tempo para os adultos e crianças começarem a
preparar para o Rito de Iniciação Cristã de Adultos e
Ensino Religioso das Crianças! O verão está
desaparecendo rapidamente e o início destes dois
programas de formação importantes que comecam nos
dias 10 e 11 de Setembro!
Sr Moira nao esta disponivel até 25 de Agosto, mas
vocês podem-se preparar para se inscrever no fim de
semana de 27-28 de Agosto em diante. Não espere!
Jesus está chamando por vocês!
Que tenho que fazer de bom para ter a vida eterna?
Hoje a Liturgia da Palavra coloca para nossa consideração a famosa passagem
do jovem rico, aquele jovem que não soube responder diante do olhar de amor
com o qual Cristo olhou para ele (cf. Mc 10,21). João Paulo II lembra-nos que
naquele jovem podemos reconhecer a todo homem que se aproxima de Cristo e
lhe pergunta sobre o sentido de sua própria vida: «Mestre, que devo fazer de
bom para ter a vida eterna?» (Mt 19,16). O Papa comenta que «o interlocutor
de Jesus intui que há uma conexão entre o bem moral e o pleno cumprimento do
próprio destino».
Hoje, há muitas pessoas que também fazem, no seu íntimo, esta pergunta! Se olharmos à nossa volta, talvez
pensemos que são poucas as pessoas que veem algo a mais, ou que o homem do século XXI não precisa se
fazer este tipo de pergunta, pois não encontrará respostas que lhe sirvam.
Jesus respondeu ao jovem: «Por que me perguntas sobre o que é bom? Um só é bom. Se queres entrar na vida,
observa os mandamentos» (Mt 19,17). É legítimo perguntar-se sobre o sentido da vida, pois, hoje é necessário
fazê-lo! O jovem lhe perguntou o que tem que fazer de bom para chegar à vida eterna, e Cristo respondeulhe que tem que ser bom.
Nos dias de hoje, para alguns ou para muitos?Tanto faz! Parece ser impossível?Ser bom?... Ou melhor, pode
parecer até algo sem sentido: uma bobagem! Hoje, como há vinte séculos, Jesus Cristo segue nos lembrando
que para entrar na vida eterna é necessário cumprir os mandamentos da Lei de Deus: não se trata do “ótimo”,
mas de seguir o caminho necessário para que o homem se assemelhe a Deus e assim possa entrar na vida eterna de mãos dadas com seu Pai-Deus. Efetivamente, «Jesus mostra que os mandamentos não devem ser entendidos como um limite mínimo que não se deve ultrapassar, mas como uma vereda aberta para um caminho moral
e espiritual de perfeição, cujo impulso interior é o amor» (João Paulo II).

Renovaciones en el Edificio de la
Escuela
Gracias a Dios que el Proyecto del Piso del
Auditorio está en marcha y será un gran final
para la renovación de la escuela. Gracias a
todos nuestros feligreses que ayudaron en este
gran proyecto.
Desde el último boletín también tuvimos más pintores que enseñaron sus habilidades artísticas Pat Kalman y Jeanne Negron-Garcia. Dios los
bendiga por su ayuda igual que a todos los
demás. Gracias al esfuerzo y sudor de muchos
voluntarios, nuestro edificio se está viendo hermoso de nuevo y es algo de lo cual todos podemos
estar orgullosos!
Héctor López estuvo dos días pasando la
lavadora de presión la semana pasada:
a) limpiando al frente de la Tiendita de Santa
Infancia y b) limpiando la entrada de la Escuela y
la pared de Cemento alrededor del edificio.
Definitivamente limpió muchos años de suciedad,
que mejora mucho la apariencia del edificio!
RICA y Educación Religiosa de los
Niños
Es tiempo para adultos y niños para comenzar a
prepararse para el Rito de Iniciación Cristiano de
Educación Religiosa para Adultos y Niños! El
verano se está yendo rápido y el comienzo de
estos importantes dos programas de formación el
10 y 11 de septiembre estará aquí antes que lo
sepas!
La Hermana Moira va estar afuera hasta el 25 de
agosto, pero usted puede prepararse para
inscribirse el fin de semana del 27 - 28 en
adelante. No esperes! Jesús te está llamando!
