Criada em Julho de 1977, no lugar do Landeiro, Vila Nova de Famalicão, a empresa que nasceu como matadouro de suínos, é hoje uma moderna unidade industrial,
que congrega produção agro-alimentar para alimentação animal, duas linhas de abate para suínos e bovinos, linhas de desmancha e desossa, e uma unidade
de transformação, onde são produzidos todos os produtos de charcutaria do vasto leque da oferta tradicional Portuguesa. A empresa, congrega ainda, uma
unidade de logística, que cobre operacionalmente todo o território nacional e apoia a exportação.
Recorrendo, em exclusivo, ao mercado nacional da produção de animais para abate, as Carnes Landeiro, realizam um acompanhamento rigoroso, das condições
de criação das fontes da sua matéria-prima, constituindo esse facto, um dos mais preponderantes factores de distinção, da qualidade da matéria-prima
seleccionada, e dos produtos criados.
O Sistema Integrado de Gestão da Qualidade, Gestão da Segurança Alimentar e Gestão Ambiental das Carnes Landeiro foi estabelecido, documentado e será
mantido tendo em vista, prioritariamente, responder aos referenciais ISO 9001, ISO 22000 e ISO 14001, assegurando a conformidade dos produtos com as normas
e especificações aplicáveis, obtendo as melhores condições de qualidade, segurança alimentar e gestão ambiental, de modo a alcançar a confiança plena dos
clientes e das partes interessadas.

Founded in July 1977, in Landeiro, Vila Nova de Famalicão, the company first operated a pig slaughterhouse since evolving to become a modern industrial unit
that combines the agro-production of animal feeds, two pig and bovine slaughterhouse lines, cleaning and deboning facilities, and a transformation unit that
produces all of the charcuterie products making up the vast range of traditional Portuguese meats. The company further operates a logistics unit that covers all
of Portugal and provides support for exports.
Making exclusive recourse to nationally sourced animals, Carnes Landeiro carries out a highly thorough monitoring of the original sources of its raw materials,
with this factor representing one of the most preponderant factors distinguishing the quality of both the raw materials selected and the resulting products.
The Integrated Quality Management, Foodstuff Safety and Environment Management systems in effect at Carnes Landeiro were implemented, documented and
shall be maintained within the framework of responding to the benchmarks ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and ISO 14001. This thus ensures product conformity with the
applicable norms and specifications thereby obtaining the best framework for foodstuff quality, safety and environmental management in order to attain the
full trust and confidence of clients and interested parties.
