Fernando Aguiar was born in Lisbon in
1956. Since 1972 he dedicates himself to
experimental and visual poetry, using the
most diversified techniques and supports
such as photography, painting, installations,
electrography, performance, video and
computer. He published 6 poetry books, 2
performance books, 3 juvenile books,
4 anthologies of Portuguese Experimental
and Visual Poetry, 2 anthologies of
International Visual Poetry and 8 chapbooks
of visual poetry. Fernando organized several
exhibitions of visual poetry and Festivals of
Poetry and Performance since 1985.
J.M.Calleja was born in Mataro, Spain, in
1952. Visual poet and performer in the world
of the image (photography-cinema), he
realized various experimental films (s/8mm)
between 1976-81. Active participant,
coordinator and curator of many different
Experimental and Visual Poetry events and
exhibitions. He made performances in Spain,
France, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, Argentine,
Uruguay...
J.M.Calleja published many collections of
visual poetry.
David Dellafiora is a cultural worker whose
works takes a variety of forms including
installation, public art, multiples and artist
books. He founded the international
correspondence neo-fluxus network Field
Study with Benedict Phillips in 1993.
Field Study was conceived as a way of
reclaiming the negative spaces between art
and life. David, under the Field Study name,
produces and publishes the assembling
publications WIPE, ReSite and Field Report.
Luc Fierens was born and lives in Belgium.
Networked collagist and visual poet
provocateur, his works emerged out of Poesie
Visiva, Mail Art and Fluxist circles.
As such, he promoted a transnational
dialogue prior to the inception of Internet,
with his mail art projects and publications
from 1984 onwards. Now he continues
his research with artists from his "social
architecture" with whome he exchanges,
forwards, and directs art and collaborative
projects though mail and e-mail, and with
whom he organizes associated meetings,
performances, publications and exhibitions.
Eryk Wenziak serves as editor of RIgor
Mort.US www.rigormort.us and as art editor at
A-minor Magazine
www.aminormagazine.com. His work has
appeared in numerous journals,
including Elimae, Used Furniture Review,
Housefire, Otoliths, Psychic Meatloaf, and
Short, Fast, and Deadly. He also has two
chapbooks: 4am, a visual poetry collection
published by No Press (Canada), and 1975,
an experimental poem published by Deadly
Chaps (US).
