Acerca de las presentes instrucciones
DE
PT
Antes de la puesta en marcha, lea atentamente las presentes advertencias de
seguridad. Preste atención a las advertencias detalladas en las instrucciones
de funcionamiento.
Mantenga siempre a su alcance las instrucciones de funcionamiento. Si
vende o cede el aparato a otra persona, entréguele sin falta también las
presentes instrucciones y el certificado de garantía.
No permita que los niños toquen aparatos eléctricos
No deje los aparatos eléctricos al alcance de niños pequeños sin vigilancia.
Las pilas y las pilas recargables pueden representar un peligro de muerte si se tragan.
Mantenga por ello el aparato y las pilas fuera del alcance de los niños pequeños. En caso
de ingestión accidental de una pila hay que avisar inmediatamente a un médico.
Mantenga también los embalajes alejados de los niños. Existe el peligro de asfixia.
Colocar el aparato de forma segura
Al colocar el aparato preste atención a las siguientes condiciones del entorno:
• El aparato no está diseñado para funcionar en espacios con un alto nivel de
humedad (como, por ejemplo, el cuarto de baño).
• Coloque el aparato sobre una superficie firme y lisa.
• No permita que el aparato esté expuesto a fuentes directas de calor (p.ej., la
calefacción).
• El aparato no debe estar expuesto a la luz solar directa.
• El aparato no debe entrar en contacto con gotas de agua o salpicaduras. Por esta
razón, no coloque objetos llenos de líquido, como p.ej. jarrones, sobre el aparato.
No utilice el aparato cerca de bañeras, lavabos o piscinas, etc.
• No coloque fuentes de fuego (por ejemplo, velas encendidas) encima o cerca del
aparato.
• No tape las ranuras de ventilación para que esté siempre garantizada una
ventilación suficiente. No se debe bloquear la ventilación al tapar los orificios de
ventilación con objetos (como revistas, manteles, cortinas, etc.). Guarde una
distancia mínima hacia paredes y muebles de aprox. 10 cm hacia arriba y atrás, y
aprox, 5 cm hacia los lados.

¡AVISO!
Tenga en cuenta las distancias mínimas de seguridad y en ningún caso cubra las
rejillas de ventilación. Para una ventilación suficiente se deberá guardar una
distancia de 20 cm en todos los lados. Los orificios en el aparato no se deben
cubrir ni obstruir.
Conexión a la red
Conecte el aparato sólo a una toma de corriente (230 V ~ 50 Hz) bien accesible y cercana
al lugar de emplazamiento. Para que el aparato pueda desconectarse rápidamente de la
corriente, el enchufe debe permanecer accesible.
Si el aparato es trasladado de un lugar frío a un lugar caliente, espere un rato antes de
conectarlo a la red. El agua condensada que se forma podría dañar el aparato. Cuando el
aparato haya alcanzado la temperatura ambiental, se lo podrá poner en funcionamiento
sin ningún peligro.
Preste atención para que el cable de conexión no pueda ser causa de tropiezos. El cable de
conexión no debe ser doblado o aplastado.
En caso de desperfectos
No ponga en marcha el aparato cuando éste o el cable de conexión presenten daños
visibles o si el aparato se ha caído.
En caso de desperfectos en el aparato o la toma de corriente, desenchúfelo
inmediatamente.
No intente en ningún caso abrir y/o arreglar Usted mismo el aparato. ¡Existe el peligro de
recibir una descarga eléctrica! Tampoco manipule el cable de red del aparato.
Con el fin de evitar accidentes, en caso de mal funcionamiento del aparato diríjase a
nuestro servicio de reparación o a otro taller especializado.
En caso de problemas de funcionamiento
Si el aparato mostrara problemas de funcionamiento es posible que se haya producido
una descarga electroestática. En este caso desenchufe la clavija de red y extraiga las pilas. A
continuación vuelva a poner las pilas y vuelva a enchufar el aparato a la toma de corriente.
De este modo se reinicializa el aparato.
El reproductor de CDs
El reproductor de CDs es un producto láser de la Clase 1. El aparato está
equipado con un sistema de seguridad que impide la salida de los
peligrosos rayos láser durante su uso normal. Para evitar heridas en los
ojos, nunca manipule o dañe el sistema de seguridad del aparato.

Manejo seguro de las pilas
El aparato funciona con pilas. Para ello, observe las siguientes indicaciones:
• Mantenga las pilas alejadas de los niños. Las pilas pueden representar un peligro de
muerte si se tragan. En caso de ingestión accidental de una pila hay que avisar
inmediatamente a un médico.

• No arroje las pilas al fuego, no las cortocircuite y no las abra.
• Antes de colocarlas, limpie los contactos de las pilas y del aparato, en caso de que
sea necesario.
• Cambie siempre todas las pilas al mismo tiempo.
• Utilice solamente pilas del mismo tipo. No utilice tipos diferentes; no mezcle pilas
usadas con nuevas.
• Al colocar las pilas tenga en cuenta su polaridad (+/–).
• Si no va a utilizar el aparato durante algún tiempo, extraiga las pilas.
• ¡Retire inmediatamente del aparato las pilas gastadas! ¡Existe un alto peligro de
derrame!
• No exponga las pilas a condiciones extremas. ¡No coloque el aparato por ejemplo
sobre radiadores! ¡Existe un alto peligro de derrame!
• ¡No intente jamás recargar pilas normales! ¡Existe peligro de explosión!
• Retire inmediatamente del aparato las pilas que derramen líquido. Limpie los
contactos antes de introducir pilas nuevas. ¡Existe peligro de causticación por el
ácido de las pilas!
• ¡En caso de que hubiera salido ácido de las pilas, evite en todo caso que el líquido
entre en contacto con la piel, los ojos y las mucosas! Si el ácido hubiera entrado en
contacto con la piel, enjuague inmediatamente las zonas afectadas con abundante
agua limpia y acuda a un médico.
Limpiar el aparato
Antes de limpiar el aparato, desconéctelo de la red. Para limpiarlo, emplee un paño seco y
suave. Evite emplear detergentes y productos químicos de limpieza, puesto que podrían
dañar las superficies y/o las inscripciones del aparato.

Desembalar
Retire todos los materiales de embalaje.
Al suministrarlo se encuentra una protección de transporte dentro del compartimento de
CDs. Retire este cartón.
¡CUIDADO!
No permita que los niños pequeños jueguen con el plástico. ¡Existe peligro de
asfixia!
Comprobar el volumen de suministro
Cuando desembale la caja, asegúrese de que están incluidos los siguientes artículos:
• El aparato
• Mando a distancia incl. 2 pilas micro LR03 / R03 / AAA, 1,5 V
• Instrucciones de funcionamiento y documentos de garantía
Alimentación por red
1.
Conecte la clavija para el aparato del cable de red con la toma AC en la parte
posterior del aparato.
2.
Enchufe el aparato a una toma de corriente de 230 V ~ 50 Hz. En la pantalla
aparecerá la hora.
ADVERTENCIA
Si al mismo tiempo están colocadas las pilas, la alimentación de corriente se realiza desde
la red.
Rogamos que observe que el aparato también gasta un poco de consumo de corriente
cuando está conectado a la red y está apagado. Por ello recomendamos desenchufar el
aparato si no está en funcionamiento.

Colocar las pilas en el mando a distancia

1.
Coloque 2 pilas micro 1,5 V LR03, tamaño AAA en el
mando a distancia.

Abra la tapa del compartimento de las pilas pulsando el
clip de cierre en la dirección de la flecha.

3.
Coloque las pilas de tal modo que el polo negativo esté
en contacto con los muelles.
4.
Vuelva a colocar la tapa del compartimento de las pilas.
Colocar las pilas de seguridad
Para que la hora también se mantenga durante un corte de luz, se pueden colocar 2 pilas
1,5 V LR03 AA en el compartimento de pilas. El compartimento para las pilas de
seguridad se encuentra en la parte inferior del aparato.
1.
Desconecte el aparato de la red.
2.
Abra el compartimento para pilas, empujando la tapa en dirección de la flecha
hacia abajo.
3.
Introduzca dos pilas 1,5-V R03/LR03 AAA. Asegúrese de la correcta polaridad. El
dibujo dentro de aparato le ayudará.
4.
Cierre el compartimento de las pilas.

Ajustar la hora
Ajuste la hora cuando el aparato se encuentre en el modo de espera.
1.
Pulste la tecla DISPLAY/CLOCK hasta que en la pantalla parpadee la indicación
de hora.
2.
Pulse las teclas – FOLDER / PRESET +, para introducir las horas.
3.
Vuelva a pulsar la tecla DISPLAY/CLOCK, en la pantalla parpadea la indicación
de minutos.
4.
Vuelva a pulsar las teclas – FOLDER / PRESET +, para introducir los minutos.
5.
Vuelva a pulsar la tecla DISPLAY/CLOCK para memorizar los ajustes.
ADVERTENCIA
El indicador de hora parpadea cuando después de un corte o interrupción de
corriente se ha restablecido la conexión eléctrica. Ajuste la hora como se ha descrito
más arriba.
Ajustes de pantalla
Ajustar el color
El aparato ofrece una pantalla multicolor iluminada. Se puede cambiar gradualmente entre
los colores rojo, verde y azul. En el ajuste estándar el color cambia continuamente.
1.
Pulse la tecla DISPLAY COLOUR para parar el cambio de colores en la pantalla
y para mantener el color que se muestre en este momento.
2.
Vuelva a pulsar la tecla DISPLAY COLOUR para reanudar el cambio de colores.
Brillo
El brillo se ajusta automáticamente según la luz del entorno. En un espacio oscuro
también disminuye el brillo del indicador; en caso de un entorno más claro el brillo de la
pantalla aumenta para facilitar una mejor legibilidad.

Opcional: conexión de auriculares
En la parte derecha del aparato se encuentra la toma para auriculares ( ).

Conecte unos auriculares con una clavija jack de 3,5 mm. Los altavoces se
desconectarán entonces automáticamente.
¡ATENCIÓN!
¡Antes de ponerse los auriculares, asegúrese de poner el volumen al mínimo!
Un volumen alto al usar auriculares puede causar una pérdida auditiva.
Funciones básicas
Encender y apagar
1.
Encienda el aparato pulsando la tecla POWER.
2.
Apague el aparato volviendo a pulsar la tecla POWER.
Ajustar el sonido
Volumen
1.
Pulse la tecla VOLUME + del mando a distancia o gire la rueda de ajuste hacia
abajo para aumentar el volumen.
2.
Pulse la tecla VOLUME - del mando a distancia o gire la rueda de ajuste hacia
arriba para reducir el volumen.
ADVERTENCIA
El nivel de volumen tiene un margen de ajuste de 0 a 40.
Amplificador de bajos
1.
Pulse la tecla XBASS del mando a distancia para conectar el amplificador de
bajos. En pantalla aparece la indicación BASS ON.
2.
Pulse la tecla XBASS del mando a distancia para desconectar el amplificador de
bajos. En pantalla aparece la indicación BASS OFF.

Ajustar el ecualizador
Este aparato dispone de 5 ajustes de ecualizador predefinidos: FLAT, JAZZ, ROCK,
CLASSIC y POP. Ajuste el modo de reproducción de la siguiente forma:
1.
Pulse la tecla EQ del mando a distancia para ajustar uno de los modos de
eculizador disponibles. En la pantalla aparecen uno tras otro los distintos modos.
Función sin sonido
1.
Pulse la tecla MUTE del mando a distancia para conectar la función de
reproducción sin sonido. En pantalla aparece la indicación MUTE.
2.
Vuelva a pulsar la tecla MUTE del mando a distancia para volver a conectar la
reproducción del sonido. En pantalla desaparece la indicación MUTE.
Ajustar el subwoofer
Se puede ajustar el subwoofer en los modos SUBWOOFER
HIGH y SUBWOOFER LOW:
Pulse la tecla SUBWOOFER HI/LO para cambiar de modo. Después de cada pulsación de
la tecla aparecen alternándose los avisos Subwoofer High y Subwoofer Low.
Radio
1.
Pulse la tecla TUNER/BAND.
2.
Vuelva a pulsar la tecla para cambiar entre las bandas de
frecuencia FM (UKW) y AM (onda media).
Antena
• El aparato está equipado con una antena para la recepción de emisoras FM. Oriente
la antena hasta obtener una recepción óptima.
• Para la recepción de emisoras AM el aparato lleva incorporada una antena de
ferrita. Oriente el aparato hasta obtener una recepción óptima.

Sintonizar las emisoras
1.
Pulse la tecla JOG MODE del lado derecho del aparato hasta que en la pantalla
aparezca TUNING.

Ajuste con las teclas / del mando a distancia o con la rueda de ajuste de la
derecha del aparato la emisora deseada.

3.
Para buscar una emisora automáticamente, mantenga pulsadas las teclas / del mando a distancia hasta que el aparato inicie una búsqueda automática. La
búsqueda se detiene automáticamente en la siguiente emisora encontrada
(Autoscan).
Memorizar las emisoras
Para cada banda de frecuencia se pueden memorizar hasta 10 emisoras AM y 30 emisoras
FM.
1.
Ajuste las emisoras deseadas como se ha indicado en el párrafo anterior.
2.
Pulse la tecla PROG del mando a distancia. En la
pantalla aparecerá la indicación parpadeante
PRESET01.
3.
Pulse la tecla FOLDER/PRESET + o FOLDER/PRESET – del mando a distancia
y seleccione la posición de memoria deseada.
4.
Pulse la tecla PROG para confirmar su selección.
Acceder a las emisoras memorizadas
1.
Pulse la tecla TUNER/BAND para cambiar entre FM y AM (onda media).
2.
Pulse las teclas FOLDER/PRESET + o -, para seleccionar la emisora deseada.
ADVERTENCIA
Al desconectar el aparato de la corriente, las emisoras memorizadas se borrarán si
las pilas de seguridad están descargadas o no están colocadas.
Ajustar mono / estéreo
1.
Pulse la tecla FM ST/MO para cambiar dentro de la banda FM entre mono y
estéreo.
2.
En la pantalla aparecerá MONO o STEREO.
Radio

Modo CD/MP3
Advertencias relativas al compartimento de CDs
No coloque objetos extraños en el compartimento de CDs, dado que podrían dañar
su mecanismo.
No deje la tapa del compartimento de CDs abierta durante mucho tiempo a fin de
evitar que entre polvo.
No toque en ningún caso la lente en el compartimento de CDs.
Si el CD está muy sucio o si tiene muchas huellas dactilares, puede ocurrir que se
produzcan retrasos en la reproducción o que ésta empiece en otro sitio.
Si la lente está sucia, pueden producirse interrupciones durante la reproducción u
otras irregularidades.
Si quiere limpiar las partículas de polvo del compartimento de CDs, utilice un pincel
soplador como los que se venden en tiendas especializadas en fotografía.
Introducir los discos
1.
Pulse la tecla CD.
2.
Abra el compartimento para CDs, pulsando la tecla OPEN / CLOSE.
3.
Coloque un CD en el compartimento con el lado impreso hacia delante.
El compartimento para CDs se abre y se cierra automáticamente. Un
accionamiento manual puede dañar el mecanismo.

4.
Cierre el compartimento para CDs, pulsando la tecla OPEN / CLOSE.
5.
El aparato lee los títulos. En pantalla parpadeará READING.
A continuación el aparato cambia al modo stop. Se indican el número total de
títulos así como el tiempo total de duración.
Modo CD/MP3

Indicaciones después de haber introducido un CD de audio o MP3
EN
Si se ha colocado un CD de audio correctamente, aparece
el número total de los títulos y la duración total del CD
(modo stop).
DE
PT
Si se ha colocado un CD-MP3 correctamente, aparece el
número total de carpetas y de los títulos en la pantalla
(modo stop).
• Cuando no haya ningún disco o se introduzca un disco no legible, aparecerá No
Disc.
• Si el compartimento de CDs está abierto, aparece Open.
Retirar los discos
1.
No abra el compartimento de CDs, si el CD todavía se está reproduciendo o
girando. Antes, pulse STOP.
2.
Abra el compartimento para CDs, pulsando la tecla OPEN / CLOSE.
3.
Para extraer un CD, cójalo por los lados.
PLAY, PAUSA, STOP – CD de audio y CD-MP3
1.
Pulse /para iniciar la reproducción. En la pantalla aparecerá el número del
título actual y el tiempo de reproducción. En el caso de los CDs-MP3 aparecen
informaciones adicionales como p.ej. el nombre del intérprete, del título o del
álbum.
2.
Vuela a pulsar /para interrumpir la reproducción. El tiempo de reproducción
parpadea.
3.
Vuelva a pulsar / para reanudar la reproducción en el mismo sitio.
4.
Pulse para finalizar la reproducción. Ahora el aparato se encuentra en el modo
stop y aparece el número total de los títulos y eventualmente de los archivos del
CD.
Búsqueda de títulos y avance rápido
CD de audio
1.
Pulse las teclas / para avanzar o retroceder un título. Durante la
reproducción, salte al principio del título en curso pulsando .
2.
Si durante la reproducción se mantienen pulsadas las teclas / , se inicia un
avance o retroceso rápido.
Modo CD/MP3

CD-MP3 (buscar dentro de carpetas)
En los CDs-MP3 los títulos pueden estar memorizados en carpetas.
• Si no se encuentra ninguna carpeta en el CD-MP3, realice la búsqueda como en
caso de un CD de audio.
• Si en el CD-MP3 se encuentran carpetas, para buscar el título abra primero la
carpeta.
1.
Se busca una carpeta (álbum) pulsando repetidas veces las teclas
FOLDER/PRESET + o -. Se indican la carpeta así como el número total de sus
títulos.
2.
En la carpeta seleccionada se selecciona el título deseado con las teclas / del
mando a distancia.
REPEAT: repetir (sólo a través del mando a distancia)
En caso de la función de repetición se repiten todos los títulos de un CD o se repite
contínuamente un título determinado.

Para repetir el título actual pulse una vez la tecla REPEAT. En pantalla aparece la
. El título se repetirá ininterrumpidamente.

En caso de la reproducción aleatoria se reproducen los títulos del CD en un orden

Para seleccionar el modo de funcionamiento AUX, pulse la tecla AUX/USB/SD
hasta que en la pantalla aparezca AUX.

Modo TEMPORIZADOR (sólo a través del mando

Mediante el modo de temporizador se puede conectar y desconectar el aparato a una hora

Pulse la tecla TIMER del mando a distancia para conectar o desconectar esta
función. En la pantalla aparece TIMER ON o TIMER OFF. Además aparecerá un
símbolo de hora cuando el temporizador esté conectado.

Para ajustar la hora de conexión pulse la tecla TIMER del mando a distancia hasta
que aparezca ON TIMER y la indicación de hora comience a parpadear.

Pulse las teclas / del mando a distancia y seleccione la hora deseada. A
continuación pulse la tecla TIMER.

El minuto parpadea. Seleccione de la misma manera, como se indica en el paso 3,

About these instructions

Please read these instructions carefully before using the device. Note the
warnings in the operating instructions.

Always keep the operating instructions close to hand. If you sell the device
or give it away, make sure you also hand over these instructions and the

Keeping electrical equipment out of reach of children
Never allow children to use electrical appliances without supervision.
If swallowed, batteries may be life-threatening. For this reason, keep the radio and
batteries out of reach of children. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical assistance
immediately.
Keep plastic packaging out of reach of children. It may cause suffocation.
Setting the device up safely
When setting up the device, please note the following environmental requirements:
• It is not designed for use in rooms that are very humid (e.g. bathrooms).
• Place the device on a sturdy, level surface.
• Do not place the device near heat sources (e.g. heaters) that could affect the unit.
• The device may not be exposed to strong, direct sunlight.
• Dripped or sprayed water may not touch the device. Do not place objects that are
filled with water, such as vases, on the appliance. Do not operate the device near
baths, basins, swimming pools etc.
• Do not place naked flames such as lit candles on or near the unit.
• Do not cover the ventilation slots so as to ensure there is adequate ventilation. The
ventilation should not be obstructed by placing objects such as newspapers, table
cloths, curtains, etc. on the vents. Maintain a minimum distance to walls and
furniture of approx. 10 cm to the top and back and approx. 5 cm to the other sides.
WARNING!
Note the minimum safe distances and under no circumstances cover the
ventilation slots. There should be a gap of 20 cm on all sides to ensure adequate
ventilation. The vents on the player must not be covered or blocked.

Mains connection
Only connect the unit to a power point (230 V ~ 50 Hz) that is easy to reach and is close to
the place where you have set the unit up. The power socket must be freely accessible so
that you can unplug the appliance quickly, if necessary.
Do not connect the device immediately to the power supply if the unit has been moved
from a cold to a warm room. Any condensation which forms could damage the unit. The
device can be operated as soon as the unit has reached room temperature.
Ensure the mains cable is out of harms way and will not trip people up. There should be
no kinks or folds in the power cable.
If damage occurs
Do not use the device if the mains plug or device itself has been dropped or there is visible
damage.
If the player or mains cable is damaged, unplug the player from the mains immediately.
Never try to open and/or repair the appliance yourself. You may get an electric shock! Do
not interfere with the unit’s power cable.
If there is a fault contact our Service Centre or other suitable specialist workshop.
In the event of functional damage
If the unit is malfunctioning there might have been a electrical discharge. If this is the case
unplug the unit from the power source and remove the batteries. Insert the batteries again
and re-attach the unit to the power source . This will reset the unit.
The CD player
The CD player is a class 1 laser product. The device has a safety system that
prevents dangerous laser rays escaping from the device during normal use.
In order to avoid eye injuries, never manipulate or damage the device’s
security system.

Safe handling of batteries
You can operate the device using batteries. Please note the following:
• Keep the batteries away from children. Batteries may endanger life if swallowed. If a
battery is swallowed, seek medical assistance immediately.

• Do not throw batteries into a fire, do not short-circuit them and do not dismantle
them.
• If necessary clean the battery and device contacts before insertion.
• Always change all batteries at the same time.
• Only use batteries of the same type. Do not use different types of batteries; do not
use a mix of used and new batteries.
• Please take note of the polarity (+/-) when inserting the batteries.
• Remove the batteries if the unit is not going to be used for long periods.
• Remove the empty batteries immediately from the unit! There is an increased risk of
leakage.
• Do not expose batteries to extreme conditions; for example, do not place the unit
on top of radiators. There is an increased risk of leakage.
• Never try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of an explosion!
• Remove leaking batteries from the device immediately. Clean the contacts before
inserting new batteries. There is a risk of skin irritations from battery acid.
• If battery acid leaks out it is essential to avoid contact with the skin, eyes and
mucous membranes! If the acid does come into contact with skin, immediately
rinse the affected areas with plenty of clear water and contact a doctor
immediately.
Cleaning the device
Before cleaning, remove the plug from the mains socket. Use a dry, soft cloth. Avoid the
use of chemical solutions and cleaning products because these may damage the appliance
surface or markings.

Unpacking
Remove all packaging materials.
On delivery there is a transport protection card in the CD compartment. Remove this card.
CAUTION!
Do not let children play with the plastic film. There is a risk of suffocation!
Check package contents
Unpack the unit and ensure that the following parts are included:
• Device
• Remote control incl. 2 x micro LR03 / R03 / AAA, 1.5 V batteries
• Operating instructions and warranty documents
Mains operation
1.
Connect the plug on the mains cable with the AC socket on the rear of the device.
2.
Plug the mains plug into a 230V ~ 50Hz mains socket. The time is shown on the
display.
NOTE
If batteries are inserted at the same time the device is powered from the mains.
Please note that the device also uses a little electricity when it is connected to the mains
and switched off. We therefore recommend disconnecting the device from the mains
when it is not in use.

Insert 2 micro 1.5 V LR03 batteries, size AAA into the
remote control.
2.
Open the battery compartment by pushing the lid catch
in the direction of the arrow.
3.
Insert the batteries so that the negative end is placed
next to the springs.
4.
Close the battery compartment.

Insert backup batteries
In order to retain the time even if mains power fails, you can insert two 1.5V batteries LR03
AAA into the battery compartment. The backup battery compartment is located on the
underside of the device.
1.
Pull out the plug.
2.
Open the battery compartment by sliding the cover downwards to the side in the
direction indicated by the arrow.
3.
Insert two 1.5V R03/LR03 AAA batteries. Ensure the +/- terminals are correct. The
markings in the device will help with this.
4.
Close the battery compartment.

Setting clock time
Set the time when the device is in standby mode.
1.
Press the DISPLAY/CLOCK button until the hour display flashes on the screen.
2.
Press the – FOLDER / PRESET + buttons to enter the hours.
3.
Press the DISPLAY/CLOCK button again until the minute display flashes on the
screen.
4.
Press the – FOLDER / PRESET + buttons to enter the minutes.
5.
Press the DISPLAY/CLOCK button again to save the settings.
NOTE
The time display flashes when the power supply is restored after failure or
pause. Set the time again as described above.
Display settings
Setting the colour
The device has an illuminated multi-colour display. You can infinitely adjust the colours
between red, green and blue. The colour changes continuously in the standard setting.
1.
Press the DISPLAY COLOUR button to stop the display changing colour and to
maintain the current colour displayed.
2.
Press the DISPLAY COLOUR button again to restart changing colours.
Brightness
The brightness is set automatically using the ambient light. In a dark room the brightness
of the display is reduced; if the environment is bright, the screen becomes brighter to
provide better legibility.

Optional: Connecting headphones
The headphone connection is on the right side of the device ( ).
1.
Connect the headphones with a 3.5mm jack plug. The loudspeakers will then be
deactivated automatically.
WARNING.
Before putting on headphones set the volume to minimum! Listening to music
at a high volume especially when using ear or headphones may result in the
loss of hearing.

Switch the device on by pressing the POWER button.
2.
Switch the device off by pressing the POWER button again.

1.
Press the VOLUME + on the remote control or turn the wheel down to increase
the volume.
2.
Press the VOLUME - on the remote control or turn the wheel up to reduce the
volume.
NOTE
The volume can be set between 0 and 40.
Bass boost
1.
Press the XBASS button on the remote control to turn on the bass boost. The
display now shows BASS ON.
2.
Press the XBASS button on the remote control to turn off the bass boost. The
display now shows BASS OFF.

Equaliser setting
This device has 5 pre-set equaliser settings: FLAT, JAZZ, ROCK, CLASSIC and POP. You set
these as follows in playback mode:

Press the EQ button on the remote control in order to set the available equaliser
modes. The various modes are shown on the screen in succession.
Mute
1.
Press the MUTE button on the remote control to switch the sound to mute. The
display will show MUTE.
2.
Press the MUTE button on the remote control to turn on the sound. MUTE is no
longer displayed.
Set subwoofer
The subwoofer can be set to SUBWOOFER
HIGH and SUBWOOFER LOW.
Press the SUBWOOFER HI/LO button to change the mode. After each press of the button
the message Subwoofer High and Subwoofer Low appears alternately.
Radio mode
1.
Press the TUNER/BAND button.
2.
Press the button again to switch between FM and
MW (medium wave).
Aerial
• For FM reception the device is equipped with an aerial. Adjust the aerial to get
optimal FM reception.
• There is a built-in ferrite antenna for MW reception. Turn the device to the ideal
receiving position.

Press the JOG MODE on the right side of the device until TUNING is displayed on
the screen.

Select the desired station using the / buttons on the remote control or by
turning the setting wheel on the device to the right.

on the remote control until the device starts the automatic search. The search
stops automatically at the next station (autoscan).
Save station
For each frequency range you can save up to 10 MW and 30 FM stations.

As described in the previous chapter set the desired station.

Press the PROG button on the remote control.
PRESET01 is displayed on the screen flashing.
3.
Press the FOLDER/PRESET + or FOLDER/PRESET – button on the remote
control and select the desired memory space.
4.
Press the PROG button to confirm your selection.

1.
Press the TUNER/BAND button to switch between FM and MW.
2.
Press the FOLDER/PRESET + or – buttons to select the desired station.
NOTE
The saved stations are lost whenever the device is disconnected from the
mains, the backup batteries are discharged or not inserted.
Setting mono/stereo
1.
Press the FM ST/MO button to switch between mono and stereo in FM mode.
2.
MONO or STEREO appears on the screen.

Information on the CD compartment
Never insert objects into the CD compartment as this could destroy the
mechanism.
In order to prevent dust accumulating never leave the CD compartment open
for long periods of time.
Never touch the lens in the CD compartment.
If the CD is very dirty or has clear finger marks playback may be delayed or
may start at another location.
Dirt on the scanning lens may result in interruptions to playback or other
errors.
If you want to remove dust particles from the CD compartment simply use a
typical blower brush (found in photographic supplies shops).
Inserting a disc
1.
Press the CD key.
2.
Open the CD compartment by pressing the OPEN / CLOSE button.
3.
Insert a CD into the compartment with the label side forwards.
The CD draw opens and closes automatically. Manual activation may damage
the mechanism.

Removing the disc

STOP first.

Audio CDs

Press the / buttons to jump backwards or forwards to a track. While a track
is being played you can press to skip to the beginning of the current track.
2.
If you hold down the / buttons during playback you start fast forward or
backward.

MP3-CD (search in directories)
The tracks on MP3 CDs may be organised into directories.
• If the MP3 CD does not have any directories your search takes place in the same
way as for an audio CD.
• If the MP3 CD has directories, to search for a track first open the directory.

You can look for a directory (album) by repeatedly pressing the
FOLDER/PRESET + or – buttons. The directory and number of tracks it contains
is displayed.

In the selected directory use the / buttons on the remote control to select
the desired track.
REPEAT: Repeat (only via remote control)
With the repeat function, all tracks on a CD or a stipulated track are repeated continuously.

To repeat the current track press the REPEAT button once.

AUX mode
You can connect other analogue devices with the 3.5mm stereo AUX input.

Connect the 3.5 mm plug to your device and the other end to the external
device.
2.
In order to select the AUX operating mode press the AUX/USB/SD button until
AUX is shown on the screen.
Operation with SD memory card
1.
Press the AUX/USB/SD button until SD appears on the screen.
2.
Insert the SD memory card into the SD socket. This is located on the right side of
the device. SD CARD is shown on the screen and the total number of directories
and tracks are displayed.

If no SD card was inserted the message NO
SD is displayed.
3.
The buttons for SD operation have the same functions and can be used as in the
chapter on MP3 operation.

SLEEP function
The device can remain operational for a preset time and then it switches itself off

To activate the SLEEP function press the SLEEP button. The display reads
SLEEP-90.

Press the button again to select a shorter switching time. Here the switch off time
changes from 90 to 10 minutes in steps of ten.

When the screen shows the desired switching time (e.g. SLEEP-40) release the
SLEEP button. The device will now switch off after the preset minutes.

In order deactivate the function ahead of time, press the SLEEP button again

The timer function allows the device to switch itself on and off at a preset time.

Press the TIMER button on the remote control to switch the function on or off.
The screen shows TIMER ON or TIMER OFF. A clock symbol also appears if the
timer is switched on.

To set the switch on time, press and hold down the TIMER button on the remote
control until ON TIMER is shown and the hour indicator starts to flash.
3.
Press the / buttons on the remote control and select the desired hour. Then
press the TIMER key.

The minutes flash. In the same way as described in step 3 select the minutes.

Then select the operating mode for the device to start at the set time. Use the /
buttons to select the desired mode (CD, SD CARD, USB, TUNER or AUX).

Then press TIMER to confirm the setting.

Lesen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme die Sicherheitsvorschriften aufmerksam
durch. Beachten Sie die Warnungen in der Bedienungsanleitung.

Bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung immer in Reichweite auf. Wenn Sie
das Gerät verkaufen oder weitergeben, händigen Sie unbedingt auch diese
Anleitung und den Garantieschein aus.
Elektrische Geräte nicht in Kinderhände
Lassen Sie Kinder niemals unbeaufsichtigt elektrische Geräte benutzen.
Batterien/Akkus können bei Verschlucken lebensgefährlich sein. Bewahren Sie deshalb das
Gerät und die Batterien für Kleinkinder unerreichbar auf. Wurde eine Batterie verschluckt,
muss sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch genommen werden.
Halten Sie auch die Verpackungsfolien von Kindern fern. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
Das Gerät sicher aufstellen
Achten Sie beim Aufstellen des Geräts auf folgende Umgebungsbedingungen:

Das Gerät ist nicht für den Betrieb in Räumen mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit (z. B.
Badezimmer) ausgelegt.
•
Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine feste, ebene Oberfläche.
•
Lassen Sie keine direkten Wärmequellen (z. B. Heizungen) auf das Gerät wirken.
•
Das Gerät darf nicht starkem, direktem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt sein.
•
Tropf- oder Spritzwasser darf nicht auf das Gerät treffen. Stellen Sie deshalb auch
keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gegenstände – wie z. B. Vasen – auf das Gerät.
Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Badewannen, Wasserbecken,
Swimmingpools etc.
•
Stellen Sie keine offenen Brandquellen (z. B. brennende Kerzen) auf oder in die
Nähe des Geräts.
•
Verdecken Sie die Lüftungsschlitze nicht, damit immer eine ausreichende Belüftung
gewährleistet ist. Die Belüftung darf nicht durch Bedecken der Lüftungsöffnungen
mit Gegenständen (wie Zeitschriften, Decken, Vorhängen usw.) behindert werden.
Bewahren Sie einen Mindestabstand zu Wänden oder Möbeln von ca. 10 cm nach
oben und hinten und ca. 5 cm zu den anderen Seiten.
WARNUNG!
Beachten Sie die Mindestabstände und verdecken Sie auf keinen Fall die
Lüftungsschlitze. Für eine ausreichende Belüftung muss nach allen Seiten ein
Abstand von 20 cm eingehalten werden. Die Öffnungen an dem Gerät dürfen
nicht abgedeckt oder verstopft werden.
Sicherheitshinweise

Netzanschluss
Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine gut erreichbare Steckdose (230 V ~ 50 Hz) an, die sich
in der Nähe des Aufstellorts befindet. Für den Fall, dass Sie das Gerät schnell vom Netz
nehmen müssen, muss die Steckdose frei zugänglich sein.
Warten Sie mit dem Anschluss des Netzkabels, wenn das Gerät von einem kalten in einen
warmen Raum gebracht wird. Das dabei entstehende Kondenswasser kann unter
Umständen das Gerät zerstören. Wenn das Gerät Zimmertemperatur erreicht hat, kann es
gefahrlos in Betrieb genommen werden
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel nicht zur Stolperfalle wird. Die Anschlussleitung darf
nicht geklemmt und gequetscht werden.
Bei Beschädigungen
Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb, wenn Gerät oder Netzkabel sichtbare Schäden
aufweisen oder das Gerät heruntergefallen ist.
Ziehen Sie bei Beschädigungen des Geräts oder des Netzkabels sofort den Netzstecker aus
der Steckdose.
Versuchen Sie auf keinen Fall, das Gerät selber zu öffnen und/oder zu reparieren. Es
besteht die Gefahr des elektrischen Schlags! Manipulieren Sie auch nicht am Netzkabel des
Geräts.
Wenden Sie sich im Störungsfall an unser Service Center oder eine andere geeignete
Fachwerkstatt, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
Im Falle von Funktionsstörungen
Sollte das Gerät Funktionsstörungen zeigen, kann es sein, dass eine elektrostatische
Entladung stattgefunden hat. Ziehen Sie in diesem Fall das Netzkabel ab und nehmen Sie
die Batterien heraus. Legen Sie dann die Batterien wieder ein und nehmen Sie das Gerät
wieder ans Netz. Das Gerät wird auf diese Weise zurückgesetzt.
Der CD-Spieler
Der CD-Spieler ist ein Laserprodukt der Klasse 1. Das Gerät ist mit einem
Sicherheitssystem ausgerüstet, das das Austreten von gefährlichen Laserstrahlen während des normalen Gebrauchs verhindert. Um Augenverletzungen zu vermeiden, manipulieren oder beschädigen Sie niemals das Sicherheitssystem des Geräts.

Sicherer Umgang mit Batterien
Sie können das Gerät mit Batterien betreiben. Beachten Sie hierzu folgende Hinweise:

Halten Sie Batterien von Kindern fern. Batterien können bei Verschlucken
lebensgefährlich sein. Wurde eine Batterie verschluckt, muss sofort medizinische
Hilfe in Anspruch genommen werden.

Werfen Sie die Batterien nicht ins Feuer, schließen Sie sie nicht kurz und nehmen Sie
sie nicht auseinander.

Reinigen Sie die Batterie- und Gerätekontakte vor dem Einlegen bei Bedarf.

Tauschen Sie immer alle Batterien gleichzeitig aus.
•
Setzen Sie nur Batterien des gleichen Typs ein. Verwenden Sie keine
unterschiedlichen Typen; mischen Sie keine gebrauchten und neuen Batterien.
•
Beachten Sie beim Einlegen der Batterien die Polarität (+/–).
•
Wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht verwenden, nehmen Sie die Batterien heraus.
•
Erntfernen Sie erschöpfte Batterien umgehend aus dem Gerät! Es besteht erhöhte
Auslaufgefahr!
•
Setzen Sie die Batterien keinen extremen Bedingungen aus; stellen Sie das Gerät z.
B. nicht auf Heizkörpern ab! Es besteht erhöhte Auslaufgefahr!
•
Versuchen Sie niemals, normale Batterien wieder aufzuladen! Es besteht
Explosionsgefahr!
•
Nehmen Sie ausgelaufene Batterien sofort aus dem Gerät. Reinigen Sie die
Kontakte, bevor Sie neue Batterien einlegen. Es besteht Verätzungsgefahr durch
Batteriesäure!
•
Sollte Batteriesäure ausgelaufen sein, vermeiden Sie unbedingt den Kontakt mit
Haut, Augen und Schleimhäuten! Falls die Säure doch mit Haut in Kontakt
gekommen ist, spülen Sie die betroffenen Stellen sofort mit reichlich klarem Wasser
und suchen Sie umgehend einen Arzt auf.
Das Gerät reinigen
Vor der Reinigung ziehen Sie bitte den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Für die Reinigung
verwenden Sie ein trockenes, weiches Tuch. Vermeiden Sie chemische Lösungs- und
Reinigungsmittel, weil diese die Oberfläche und/oder Beschriftungen des Geräts
beschädigen können.

Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.
Bei Auslieferung ist ein Transportschutz im CD-Fach eingelegt. Nehmen Sie diese Pappe
heraus.

Lassen Sie kleine Kinder nicht mit Folie spielen. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!
Lieferumfang prüfen
Vergewissern Sie sich beim Auspacken, dass folgende Teile mitgeliefert wurden:

Netzbetrieb
1.
Verbinden Sie den Gerätestecker des Netzkabels mit der Buchse AC an der
Rückseite des Geräts.
2.
Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker mit einer Netzsteckdose 230 V ~ 50 Hz. Die Uhrzeit
erscheint im Display.
HINWEIS
Wenn gleichzeitig Batterien eingelegt sind, erfolgt die Stromversorgung vom
Stromnetz.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Gerät auch dann einen geringen Stromverbrauch aufweist,
wenn es am Netz angeschlossen und ausgeschaltet ist. Wir empfehlen daher, das Gerät
vom Netz zu nehmen, wenn es nicht betrieben wird.

Batterien in die Fernbedienung einlegen
1.
Legen Sie 2 Mikro 1,5 V-Batterien LR03, Größe AAA in die
Fernbedienung ein.
2.
Öffnen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel, indem Sie den
Verschlussclip in Pfeilrichtung drücken.
3.
Legen Sie die Batterien so ein, dass der Minuspol der
Batterien an den Federn anliegt.
4.
Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel wieder auf.

Backup-Batterien einlegen
Damit die Uhrzeit auch bei einem Stromausfall erhalten bleibt, können Sie zwei 1,5-V
Batterien LR03 AAA in das Batteriefach einlegen. Das Batteriefach für die Backup-Batterien
befindet sich auf der Unterseite des Gerätes.
1.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker heraus.
2.
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach, indem Sie den Deckel in Pfeilrichtung nach unten
schieben.
3.
Legen Sie zwei 1,5-V Batterien R03/LR03 AAA ein. Achten Sie auf die richtige
Polarität. Die Zeichnung im Gerät hilft Ihnen dabei.
4.
Schließen Sie das Batteriefach.

Uhrzeit einstellen
Stellen Sie die Uhrzeit ein, wenn sich das Gerät im Bereitschaftsmodus befindet.
1.
Drücken Sie so lange die Taste DISPLAY/CLOCK bis die Stundenanzeige im
Display blinkt.
2.
Drücken Sie die Tasten – FOLDER / PRESET +, um die Stunden einzugeben.
3.
Drücken Sie erneut die Taste DISPLAY/CLOCK; die Minutenanzeige im Display
blinkt.
4.
Drücken Sie die Tasten – FOLDER / PRESET +, um die Minuten einzugeben.
5.
Drücken Sie erneut die Taste DISPLAY/CLOCK, um die Einstellungen zu
speichern.
HINWEIS
Die Uhrzeitanzeige blinkt, wenn nach Stromausfall oder -unterbrechung die
Stromverbindung wieder hergestellt wurde. Stellen Sie die Uhrzeit wie oben
beschrieben wieder ein.
Displayeinstellungen
Farbe einstellen
Das Gerät bietet ein beleuchtetes Multi-Color-Display. Sie können die Farben stufenlos
zwischen rot, grün und blau wechseln. In der Standardeinstellung wechselt die Farbe
kontinuierlich.
1.
Drücken Sie die Taste DISPLAY COLOUR, um den Farbwechsel des Displays zu
stoppen und die gerade angezeigte Farbe zu halten.
2.
Drücken Sie die Taste DISPLAY COLOUR erneut, um den Farbwechsel wieder
aufzunehmen.
Helligkeit
Die Helligkeit stellt sich automatisch anhand des Umgebungslichts ein. In einem dunklen
Raum wird auch die Helligkeit der Anzeige verringert; bei heller Umgebung erhöht sich die
Helligkeit des Displays um eine bessere Lesbarkeit zu ermöglichen.

Optional: Kopfhörer anschließen
An der Rechten Seite des Geräts finden Sie den Kopfhöreranschluss ( ).

Schließen Sie einen Kopfhörer mit einem 3,5-mm-Klinkenstecker an. Die
Lautsprecher schalten sich dann automatisch ab.

ACHTUNG!
Bevor Sie einen Kopfhörer aufsetzen, stellen Sie die Lautstärke auf ein
Minimum! Das Hören von Musik mit hoher Lautstärke kann vor allem bei der
Verwendung von Ohrhörern und Kopfhörern den Verlust des Hörsinns
verursachen.
Grundfunktionen
Ein- und Ausschalten
1.
Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie die Taste POWER drücken.
2.
Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, indem Sie die Taste POWER erneut drücken.
Ton einstellen
Lautstärke
1.
Drücken Sie die Taste VOLUME + an der Fernbedienung oder drehen Sie das
Einstellrad nach unten, um die Lautstärke zu erhöhen.
2.
Drücken Sie die Taste VOLUME - an der Fernbedienung oder drehen Sie das
Einstellrad nach oben, um die Lautstärke zu reduzieren.
HINWEIS
Der Lautstärkepegel hat einen Einstellbereich von 0 bis 40.
Bassverstärkung
1.
Drücken Sie die Taste XBASS an der Fernbedienung, um die Bassverstärkung
einzuschalten. Im Display erscheint die Meldung BASS ON.
2.
Drücken Sie die Taste XBASS an der Fernbedienung, um die Bassverstärkung
auszuschalten. Im Display erscheint die Meldung BASS OFF.
Grundfunktionen

Equalizereinstellung
Dieses Gerät verfügt über 5 vordefinierte Equalizereinstellungen: FLAT, JAZZ, ROCK,
CLASSIC und POP. Im Wiedergabemodus stellen Sie diese wie folgt ein:

Drücken Sie die Taste EQ an der Fernbedienung, um eine der verfügbaren
Equalizermodi einzustellen. Im Display erscheinen der Reihe nach die
unterschiedlichen Modi.
Stummschalten
1.
Drücken Sie die Taste MUTE an der Fernbedienung, um die Tonwiedergabe auf
stumm zu schalten. Im Display erscheint die Anzeige MUTE.
2.
Drücken Sie erneut die Taste MUTE an der Fernbedienung, um die
Tonwiedergabe einzuschalten. Im Display erlischt die Anzeige MUTE.
Subwoofer einstellen
Der Subwoofer lässt sich in die Modi SUBWOOFER
HIGH und SUBWOOFER LOW versetzen:

Sender speichern
Für jeden Frequenzbereich können bis zu 10 MW und 30 FM-Sender abgespeichert
werden.

ein.

Gespeicherte Sender aufrufen
1.
Drücken Sie die Taste TUNER/BAND, um zwischen FM und MW (Mittelwelle) zu
wechseln.

Drücken Sie die Tasten FOLDER/PRESET + oder -, um den gewünschten
Sender auszuwählen.
HINWEIS
Die gespeicherten Sender werden gelöscht, sobald das Gerät vom Strom
getrennt wird und die Backup-Batterien entladen oder nicht eingelegt sind.
Mono / Stereo einstellen
1.
Drücken Sie die Taste FM ST/MO, um im UKW Bereich zwischen Mono und
Stereo zu wechseln.
2.
Es erscheint die Anzeige MONO oder STEREO.

CD-/MP3-Betrieb
Hinweise zum CD-Fach
Legen Sie keine fremden Gegenstände in das CD-Fach, da hierdurch die
Mechanik zerstört werden kann.
Um Verschmutzungen durch Staub zu vermeiden, lassen Sie den CD-FachDeckel nicht für längere Zeit offen stehen.
Berühren Sie auf keinen Fall die Linse im CD-Fach.
Ist die CD stark verschmutzt oder weist sie starke Fingerabdrücke auf, kann es
passieren, dass das Abspielen verzögert wird oder an einer anderen Stelle
beginnt.
Schmutz auf der Abtastlinse kann zu Unterbrechungen während des Abspieles
oder zu anderen Störungen führen.
Wenn Sie Staubpartikel aus dem CD-Fach entfernen möchten, benutzen Sie
hierfür einen handelsüblichen Staubblasepinsel (im Fotogeschäft erhältlich).
Disk einlegen
1.
Drücken Sie die Taste CD.
2.
Öffnen Sie das CD-Fach, indem Sie die Taste OPEN / CLOSE drücken.
3.
Legen Sie eine CD mit der beschrifteten Seite nach vorn.
Die CD-Lade öffnet und schließt automatisch. Manuelle Betätigung kann zur
Beschädigung des Mechanismus führen.

Schließen Sie das CD-Fach, indem Sie die Taste OPEN / CLOSE drücken.
5.
Das Gerät liest die Titel ein. Im Display blinkt READING.
Danach geht das Gerät in den Stopp-Modus. Es werden die Anzahl der Titel sowie
die Gesamtlaufzeit angezeigt.

Drücken Sie /erneut, um die Wiedergabe zu unterbrechen. Die
Wiedergabezeit blinkt.
3.
Drücken Sie /erneut, um die Wiedergabe an derselben Stelle fortzusetzen.
4.
Drücken Sie , um die Wiedergabe zu beenden. Das Gerät ist nun im StoppModus und es erscheint die Gesamtzahl der Titel und ggf. Ordner auf der CD.
Titelsuche und Schnelllauf
Audio-CD
1.
Drücken Sie die Tasten / , um einen Titel weiter bzw. zurück zu springen.
Während der Wiedergabe gelangen Sie mit an den Anfang des aktuellen Titels.
2.
Wenn Sie während der Wiedergabe die Tasten / gedrückt halten, starten Sie
einen Schnelllauf vorwärts bzw. rückwärts.
CD-/MP3-Betrieb

MP3-CD (in Verzeichnissen suchen)
Auf MP3-CDs können die Titel in Verzeichnisse gespeichert sein.

Falls sich keine Verzeichnisse auf der MP3-CD befinden, führen Sie die Suche durch
wie bei einer Audio-CD.

Falls sich Verzeichnisse auf der MP3-CD befinden, öffnen Sie für die Titelsuche
zunächst das Verzeichnis um einen Titel zu suchen.
1.
Sie suchen ein Verzeichnis (Album) durch wiederholtes Drücken der Tasten
FOLDER/PRESET + oder -. Das Verzeichnis sowie die Anzahl der darin
enthaltenen Titel werden angezeigt.
2.
Im gewählten Verzeichnis wählen Sie mit den Tasten / auf der
Fernbedienung den gewünschten Titel.
REPEAT: Wiederholen (nur über Fernbedienung)
Bei der Wiederholfunktion werden alle Titel einer CD oder ein festgelegter Titel dauerhaft
wiederholt.

Um den aktuellen Titel zu wiederholen, drücken Sie einmal die Taste REPEAT.

SLEEP Funktion
Das Gerät kann für eine zuvor eingestellte Zeit in Betrieb bleiben, bis es danach in den
selbstständig ausschaltet.

Um die Funktion SLEEP zu aktivieren, drücken Sie die Taste SLEEP. Im Display
erscheint SLEEP-90.

Drücken Sie die Taste erneut, um eine kürzere Schaltzeit zu wählen. Dabei ändert

Um die Einschaltzeit einzustellen, drücken und halten Sie die Taste TIMER auf der

gewünschte Stunde. Drücken Sie abschließend die TIMER-Taste.

Manter os aparelhos eléctricos fora do alcance de
crianças
Não permita que as crianças utilizem aparelhos eléctricos sem vigilância.
Pilhas/baterias podem causar risco de vida ao serem ingeridas. Por isso, deve guardar o
aparelho e as pilhas fora do alcance das crianças. Se uma pilha for ingerida, procure
imediatamente ajuda médica.
Mantenha também as embalagens plásticas fora do alcance das crianças. Existe risco de
asfixia.
Posicionar o aparelho de forma segura
Tenha em atenção as seguintes condições ambientais:
• O aparelho não é apropriado para funcionar em recintos com uma elevada
humidade relativa do ar (p.ex. casa de banho).
• Colocar o aparelho sobre uma superfície firme e plana.
• Não deixe fontes directas de calor (por ex. aquecimentos) a incidir sobre o
aparelho.
• O aparelho não pode ser exposto à luz directa e forte.
• Gotas ou salpico de água não pode entrar em contacto com o aparelho. Por isso
não coloque objectos com líquido, como por exemplo jarras, em cima do aparelho.
Não utilize o aparelho na proximidade de banheiras, lavatórios, piscinas etc..
• Não coloque fontes de combustão (p.ex. velas acesas) em cima ou na proximidade
do aparelho.
• Não cubra as ranhuras de ventilação para que seja garantida uma ventilação
suficiente. As ranhuras de ventilação não podem ficar tapadas com objectos (como
revistas, toalhas, cortinados, etc.), de forma a tapar a ventilação. Mantenha uma
distância mínima relativamente às paredes ou móveis de aproximadamente 10 cm
para cima e para trás e aproximadamente 5 cm para os outros lados.

AVISO!
Certifique-se que seja respeitada uma distância mínima e não cubra as ranhuras
de ventilação. Para uma ventilação suficiente é necessário cumprir uma distância
de 20 cm para todos os lados. As aberturas no aparelho não devem estar
cobertas ou obstruídas.
Ligação à rede
Ligue o aparelho apenas a uma tomada eléctrica bem acessível (230 V ~ 50 Hz), que se
encontre nas imediações do sítio de instalação. A tomada eléctrica deve estar bem
acessível para o caso de necessitar de desligar rapidamente o aparelho da rede.
Ligue apenas o cabo de rede do aparelho quando este se encontrar num local à
temperatura ambiente. Em algumas circunstâncias, a água de condensação que se formou
pode conduzir a avarias no aparelho. Assim que o aparelho tiver atingido a temperatura
ambiente, poderá ser colocado em funcionamento.
Tenha atenção para que o cabo de rede não represente perigo de tropeçar. O cabo de
ligação não se deverá encontrar encravado nem partido.
No caso de danos
Não coloque o aparelho em funcionamento caso este ou o cabo de rede se encontrem
visivelmente danificados ou caso o aparelho tenha sofrido uma queda.
No caso de danos no aparelho ou no cabo de rede retire imediatamente a ficha da tomada.
Nunca tente abrir e/ou reparar o aparelho. Existe risco de choque eléctrico! Também não
manipule o cabo de rede do aparelho.

No caso de anomalias
Se o aparelho apresentar anomalias pode querer dizer que houve uma descarga
electrostática. Neste caso, retire a ficha de rede e retire as pilhas. Volte a colocar as pilhas e
ligue o aparelho novamente à rede. Desta forma o aparelho é reposto.
Leitor de CDs
O leitor de CDs é um produto laser da classe 1. O aparelho está equipado
com um sistema de segurança que evita a saída de raios laser perigosos
durante a utilização normal. Nunca manipule ou danifique o sistema de
segurança do aparelho, evitando, assim, lesões nos olhos.

Manuseamento seguro das pilhas
Pode operar o aparelho com pilhas. Tenha em atenção as seguintes indicações:
• Mantenha as pilhas fora do alcance das crianças. As pilhas podem representar risco
de vida ao serem ingeridas. Se uma pilha for ingerida, procure imediatamente ajuda
médica.
• Não queime as pilhas, não provoque curto-circuitos com elas e não as desmonte.
• Caso seja necessário, limpe os contactos das pilhas e do aparelho antes de as
colocar.
• Substitua sempre todas as pilhas simultaneamente.
• Coloque apenas pilhas do mesmo tipo. Não utilize tipos diferentes, não misture
pilhas novas e usadas.
• Ao introduzir as pilhas, tenha atenção à polaridade das mesmas (+/–).
• Se o aparelho não for utilizado por um período prolongado, retire as pilhas.
• Retire pilhas desgastadas imediatamente do aparelho! Existe elevado perigo de
vertimento!
• Não exponha as pilhas a condições extremas; não coloque o aparelho p.ex. sobre
aquecedores! Existe elevado perigo de vertimento!
• Nunca tente carregar pilhas normais! Isto poderá conduzir a perigo de explosão!
• Retire imediatamente as pilhas gastas do aparelho. Limpe os contactos antes de
colocar pilhas novas. Pode existir o perigo de queimadura provocado pelo ácido
das pilhas!
• Caso tenha sido vertido ácido das pilhas, evite impreterivelmente o contacto com a
pele, olhos e mucosas! Caso o ácido entre em contacto com a pele, lave a área
afectada com água limpa e abundante e consulte imediatamente um médico.
Limpeza do aparelho
Antes de iniciar a limpeza retire a ficha de rede da tomada. Para a limpeza deve ser
utilizado um pano seco e suave. Devem ser evitados produtos de limpeza ou solventes
químicos, visto que estes podem danificar a superfície e/ou as inscrições no aparelho.

Tirar da embalagem
Remova todo o material de embalagem.
Aquando o fornecimento encontra-se uma protecção de transporte no compartimento de
CD. Remova a protecção.
CUIDADO!
Nunca deixar crianças pequenas brincar com a película de plástico. Existe o
perigo de asfixia!
Verificar o volume do fornecimento
Ao retirar o aparelho da embalagem, certifique-se de que as seguintes peças foram
fornecidas:
• O aparelho
• Telecomando incl. 2 pilhas x Mikro LR03 / R03 / AAA, 1,5 V
• Manual de instruções e documentos de garantia
Funcionamento de rede
1.
Ligue a ficha do aparelho do cabo de rede com a tomada CA no verso do
aparelho.
2.
Ligue a ficha de rede a uma tomada de rede 230 V ~ 50 Hz. A hora aparece no
visor.
NOTA
Se forem colocadas pilhas em simultâneo, a alimentação de corrente ocorre através
da corrente eléctrica.
Considere que o aparelho mesmo ligado à corrente e desligado apresenta um consumo de
energia reduzido. POR isso, recomendamos desligar o aparelho da rede se não utilizado.

Colocar as pilhas no telecomando
1.
Coloque 2 pilhas Mikro 1,5 V LR03, tamanho AAA no
telecomando.
2.
Abra a tampa do compartimento das pilhas, premindo o
clipe de fecho no sentido das setas.
3.
Coloque as pilhas para que o pólo negativo das pilhas
fique virado para a mola.
4.
Volte a colocar a tampa do compartimento das pilhas.

Colocar as pilhas de reserva
Para que a hora se mantenha mesmo havendo falha de energia, pode colocar duas pilhas
1,5 V LR03 AAA. O compartimento de pilhas para as pilhas de reserva encontra-se na parte
inferior do aparelho.
1.
Retire a ficha de rede.
2.
Abra o compartimento das pilhas, deslocando a tampa na direcção das setas para
baixo.
3.
Coloque duas pilhas 1,5-V R03/LR03 AAA. Tenha em atenção a polaridade
correcta. A figura no aparelho ajuda-o.
4.
Feche o compartimento das pilhas com cuidado.
Preparação

Acertar as horas
Ajuste a hora quando o aparelho se encontrar no modo de prontidão.
1.
Prima o botão DISPLAY/CLOCK até a indicação da hora piscar no visor.
2.
Prima os botões – FOLDER / PRESET + para introduzir as horas.
3.
Prima novamente o botão DISPLAY/CLOCK; a indicação dos minutos pisca no
visor.
4.
Prima os botões – FOLDER / PRESET + para introduzir os minutos.
5.
Prima novamnete o botão DISPLAY/CLOCK para memorizar os ajustes.
NOTA
A indicação da hora pisca se a ligação de corrente tiver sido estabelecida após
uma falha de energia ou interrupção. Volte a ajustar a hora conforme descrito
anteriormente.
Ajustes do visor
Ajustar a cor
O aparelho oferece um visor multi-cores iluminado. Pode alternar as cores gradualmente
entre vermelho, verde e azul. No ajuste padrão a cor alterna continuamente.
1.
Prima o botão DISPLAY COLOUR para parar a mudança de cores do visor e
manter a cor de momento visualizada.
2.
Prima novamente o botão DISPLAY COLOUR para voltar a mudança de cor.
Luminosidade
A luminosidade ajusta-se automaticamente de acordo com a luz ambiente. Num espaço
escuro a luminosidade da indicação também é reduzida, num ambiente claro a
luminosidade do visor aumenta para possibilitar uma melhor leitura.

Opcional: Ligar auscultadores
No lado direito do aparelho encontra a ligação para os auscultadores ( ).
1.
Ligue a essa tomada auscultadores com um conector RCA de 3,5 mm. As colunas
desligam-se automaticamente.
ATENÇÃO!
Antes de colocar os auscultadores regule o volume para o mínimo! Ouvir
música com volume elevado pode originar a perda de audição no caso de
utilizar auscultadores.

1.
Ligue o aparelho, premindo o botão POWER.
2.
Desligue o aparelho, premindo novamente o botão POWER.
Ajustar o som
Volume
1.
Prima o botão VOLUME + no telecomando ou rode o regulador de ajuste para
baixo para aumentar o volume.
2.
Prima o botão VOLUME - no telecomando ou rode o regulador de ajuste para
cima para diminuir o volume.
NOTA
O nível do volume tem uma margem de ajuste de 0 a 40.
Intensificador de graves
1.
Pressione o botão XBASS no telecomando para adicionar o intensificador de
graves. No visor aparece a mensagem BASS ON.
2.
Pressione o botão XBASS no telecomando para desligar o intensificador de
graves. No visor aparece a mensagem BASS OFF.

Ajuste do equalizador
Este aparelho dispões de 5 ajustes de equalizador pré-definidos: FLAT, JAZZ, ROCK,
CLASSIC e POP. No modo de reprodução ajusta-os da seguinte forma:
1.
Prima o botão EQ no telecomando para ajustar um modo de equalizador
disponível. No visor aparecem sequencialmente os modos diferentes.
Activar o modo silencioso (Mute)
1.
Prima o botão MUTE no telecomando para mudar a reprodução de som para
silencioso. No visor surge a indicação MUTE.
2.
Prima novamente o botão MUTE no telecomando para ligar a reprodução de
som. No visor apaga-se a indicação MUTE.
Ajustar o subwoofer
O subwoofer pode passar para o modo SUBWOOFER
HIGH e SUBWOOFER LOW:
Prima o botão SUBWOOFER HI/LO para mudar o modo. Aparece a uma mensagem após
ter pressionado o botão alternadamente Subwoofer High e Subwoofer Low.
Funcionamento do rádio
1.
Prima o botão TUNER/BAND.
2.
Alterne entre as frequências FM (UKW)e MW
(onda média), premindo novamente o botão.
Antena
• Para a recepção UKW, aparelho vem equipado com um antena telescópica. Ajuste a
antena para uma recepção optimizada.
• O aparelho vem montado com uma antena de ferrite para frequência AM. Rode o
aparelho para a posição ideal de captação.

1.
Prima o botão JOG MODE no lado direito do aparelho até aparecer TUNING no
visor.

Para procurar automaticamente uma emissora, prima os botões / no

Memorizar emissoras
Para cada frequência de banda podem ser memorizadas até 10 emissoras MW e 30 FM.
1.
Ajuste a emissora desejada como descrito no capítulo anterior.
2.
No telecomando, prima o botão PROG. No visor
aparece a indicação a piscar PRESET01.
3.
Prima o botão FOLDER/PRESET + ou FOLDER/PRESET – no telecomando e
seleccione a posição de memória.
4.
Prima o botão PROG para confirmar a sua selecção.
Chamar emissora memorizada
1.
Prima o botão TUNER/BAND para alternar entre FM e MW (onda média).
2.
Prima os botões FOLDER/PRESET + ou – para seleccionar a emissora desejada.
NOTA
As emissoras memorizadas são apagadas, logo que o aparelho seja desligado
da corrente e as pilhas de reserva ficarem descarregadas ou não colocadas.
Ajustar Mono / Estéreo
1.
Prima o botão FM ST/MO para alternar entre mono e estéreo na frequência UKW.
2.
Aparece a indicação MONO ou STEREO.

Funcionamento CDs/MP3
Indicações relativamente ao compartimento do
CD
Não deixe objectos estranhos dentro do compartimento do CD, uma vez que
pode danificar a mecânica do aparelho.
Não deixe o compartimento do CD aberto durante muito tempo, para evitar
sujidade e pó.
Não toque nas lentes no interior do compartimento do CD.
Caso o CD esteja demasiado sujo ou com marcas de dedos, pode acontecer
que demora a começar a tocar ou que comece noutro ponto qualquer que
não o início do CD.
Sujidade na lente scanner pode significar que, quando o CD estiver a tocar,
pode haver algumas interrupções ou outros danos semelhantes.
Quando quiser retirar as partículas de pó do compartimento do CD, utilize
uma pinça própria (disponível nas lojas de fotografia).
Inserir o disco
1.
Prima o botão CD.
2.
Abra o compartimento CD, premindo o botão OPEN / CLOSE.
3.
Insira o CD com o lado escrito voltado para a frente.
O compartimento CD abre e fecha automaticamente. Accionamento manual
pode danificar o mecanismo.

4.
Feche o compartimento CD, premindo o botão OPEN / CLOSE.
5.
O aparelho efectua a leitura das faixas. No visor pisca READING.
Depois o aparelho passa ao modo Stop. É visualizada a quantidade das faixas e o
tempo de execução total.

Abra o compartimento CD, premindo o botão OPEN / CLOSE.
3.
Retire o CD pelos lados.
PLAY, PAUSE, STOP – CD Audio e CD MP3
1.
Prima / para iniciar a reprodução. No visor aparecem o número actual da
faixa e o tempo de reprodução. Nos CDs MP3 aparecem adicionalmente
informações, como por exemplo, o nome do intérprete, da faixa ou do álbum.
2.
Prima / para interromper novamente a reprodução. A reprodução pisca.
3.
Volte a premir o botão / para continuar a reprodução no mesmo ponto.
4.
Prima para terminar a reprodução. O aparelho encontra-se agora no modo
Stop e aparece a quantidade total das faixas e, se necessário a pasta no CD.
Localização de faixas e avanço rápido
CD áudio
1.
Prima os botões / para avançar ou retroceder nas faixas. Durante a
reprodução chega ao início da faixa actual com .
2.
Se manter os botões / premidos durante a reprodução, inicie um avanço
rápido para a frente e para trás.

CD MP3 (procurar nos índices)
Nos CDs MP3 podem estar memorizadas as faixas nos índices.
• Se não encontrar quaisquer índices nos CD MP3, efectue a localização como no CD
áudio.
• No case de se encontrarem índices no CD MP3, abra primeiro o índice para a
localização de faixas para localizar uma faixa.
1.
Localiza um índice (álbum), premindo repetidamente os botões
FOLDER/PRESET + ou -. O índice, bem como a quantidade das faixas contidas
são indicadas.
2.
No índice seleccionado, seleccione com os botões / no telecomando a faixa
desejada.
REPEAT: Repetir (apenas através do telecomando)
Na função de repetição são repetidas de forma permanente todas as faixas de um CD ou
uma faixa determinada.
1.
Para repetir a faixa actual, prima uma vez o botão REPEAT. No visor aparece a
indicação . A faixa é repetida continuamente.
2.
Para repetir um CD completo, prima mais uma vez o botão REPEAT.. No visor
aparece a indicação

3.
Apenas nos CDs MP3 com índices:
Para repetir o índice actual, prima duas vezes o botão REPEAT/MONO-ST.. No

RANDOM: Reprodução aleatória (apenas através do

Na reprodução aleatória, as faixas do CD são reproduzidas numa sequência aleatória.

Para seleccionar o modo de funcionamento AUX, prima o botão AUX/USB/SD
até aparecer AUX no visor.
Funcionamento com cartão de memória SD
1.
Prima o botão AUX/USB/SD, até aparecer SD no visor.
2.
Encaixe o cartão de memória na tomada SD. Esta encontra-se no lado direito do
aparelho. No visor aparece a indicação SD CARD e a quantidade total dos índices,
bem como das faixas.
NOTA
Se não foi colocado qualquer cartão SD, aparece a mensagem NO
visor.

Funcionamento USB
1.
Prima o botão AUX/USB/SD, até aparecer USB no visor.
2.
Insira o stick de memória USB na tomada USB. Esta encontra-se no lado direito do
aparelho. No visor aparece a indicação USB e a quantidade total dos índices, bem
como das faixas.
NOTA
Se não foi colocado qualquer stick de memória USB, aparece a mensagem NO
DEV no visor.
3.
Os botões para o funcionamento USB possuem as mesmas funções e podem ser
utilizados, como descrito no capítulo funcionamento MP3.
4.
Para retirar o cartão de memória SD, prima o botão STOP e retire-o para fora.
Função SLEEP
O aparelho pode manter-se por um período de funcionamento anteriormente ajustado até
desligue autonomamente.

Para activar a função SLEEP, prime o botão SLEEP. No visor surge SLEEP-90.
2.
Prima novamente o botão para seleccionar uma hora de conexão. Desta forma
altera-se o tempo de desconexão de 90 minutos até 10 minutos em passos de
dez:
90 • 80 • 70 • 60 • 50 • 40 • 30 • 20 • 10
3.
Se no visor aparecer o tempo de conexão desejado (por exemplo, SLEEP-40),
solte o botão SLEEP. O aparelho desliga agora de acordo com os minutos préajustados.
4.
Para desactivar antecipadamente a função, prima novamente o botão SLEEP, até
surgir SLEEP-OFF no visor.
Funcionamento USB

Com a função temporizador é possível ligar e desligar o aparelho a uma hora pré-ajustada.

Prima o botão TIMER no telecomando para ligar ou desligar a função. No visor

se o temporizador estiver ligado.
2.
Para ajustar o tempo de conexão, prima o botão TIMER e mantenha-o premido
no telecomando, até aparecer ON TIMER e a indicação da hora começar a piscar.
3.
Prima os botões / no telecomando e seleccione a hora desejada. Prima
agora o botão TIMER.
4.
O minuto pisca. Seleccione da mesma forma, como descrito no passo 3, os
minutos.
5.
Seleccione de seguida em que tipo de funcionamento o aparelho deve iniciar
relativamente à hora ajustada. Ajuste com os botões / o modo desejado (CD,
SD CARD, USB, TUNER oder AUX).
6.
Prima de seguida TIMER para confirmar o ajuste.
Função TEMPORIZADOR (apenas através do telecomando)
