Vantagem de Adesão AMERICAN SOCIETY OF PLASTIC SURGEONS® Como se Tornar um Membro Internacional: Se você está ativamente envolvido na prática da Cirurgia Plástica ou Reconstrutiva por menos de três (3) anos e reside e exerce em um país que não os Estados Unidos ou Canadá, você pode ser candidado para se tornar um Membro Internacional da Sociedade Americana de Cirurgiões Plásticos® (ASPS®). A Diretoria da ASPS e de sua Sociedade Nacional firmaram um Memorando de Entendimento (MOU) entre as nossas organizações. O Memorando de Entendimento prevê o reconhecimento mútuo das normas, da regulamentação e da ética, e reconhece a elegibilidade de todos os membros ativos/plenos de cada Sociedade Nacional a participar da ASPS como Candidato Internacional, Residente ou Membro. Por causa dos altos padrões de reconhecimento que a sua Sociedade Nacional possui, ela é capaz de indicar você para ser membro da Sociedade Americana de Cirurgiões Plásticos, se você é um membro ativo/pleno com boa reputação em sua Sociedade. Você não precisa de uma carta de recomendação de um outro membro ativo ou internacional ASPS. A ASPS e sua Sociedade Nacional firmaram este acordo com o intuito de cooperação mútua e compartilhamento de informações. Você precisa manter a sua participação em sua sociedade nacional a fim de manter sua participação no ASPS. Você também deve assinar o Código de Ética da ASPS. Etapa 1: 1. Complete o formulário anexo para Associação Internacional. 2. Obtenha uma carta do presidente, secretário ou outro dirigente autorizado da sociedade de cirurgia plástica nacional no país onde você exerce que ateste a sua associação adequada. A carta deve incluir a data em que se tornou um membro da sua Sociedade Nacional. 3. Step 2: Depois de ter enviado todos os documentos solicitados, seu requerimento será analisado pela Comissão de Associação. 1. Se possuir prática clínica menor que três anos, você vai se tornar um Candidato a Membro Internacional da ASPS depois da revisão de seu requerimento pela Comissão de Associação. 2. Se possuir prática clínica de três anos ou mais, você vai ser colocado na categoria de Membro Internacional. O Comitê de Associação vai recomendar a aprovação ou desaprovação para o Conselho Diretor. A eleição para a Associação Internacional será pela maioria dos votos do Conselho em uma reunião na qual um quorum esteja presente. 3. Todas as taxas, contribuições ou mensalidades devem ser pagas antes de serem levadas à categoria de Candidato ou Membro Internacional.
