Job description
 Company is currently implementing SAP and will insource
external accounting department.
 Newly created position of Accounting Manager will be
responsible for planning, organization and execution of all
routines in Accounting and Treasury area. Close
coorperation with existing fiscal department.
 Coordination of monthly closing process in SAP-FI and SAPCO. Responsible for statury local accounts and reporting
package to international headquarter.
 Monthly analysis of balance sheet and income statement
 Analysis of Accounts receivables, Accounts payables,
Advance payments to suppliers, employees and custom
agents, analysis of stock
 Analysis and reconciliation of Intercompany accounts.
 Control and accounting of travel expenses.
 Provisions for Outstanding liabilities, Bonus, Vacation, 13o
salario, Auditing expenses, Tax burden on payments.
 Provisions for obsolete stock and allowances for bad debt
allowances.
 Deferrals for revenues and costs from contracts.
 Bank posting, proper contabilization of payments and bank
reconciliation. Closing of incoming and outgoing
international bank payments (câmbio). Control and planning
of cash flow.

 Calculation of Transfer Price.
 Proper appropriation of insurances and other prepaid expenses.
 Analysis of financial liabilities, respective interests and taxes
 Analysis and control of Tangible and intangible assets and monthly depreciations
 Actualization of foreign exchange rates and control of transactions in foreign currencies
 Analysis of ICMS, IPI, ISS, PIS, COFINS and compensations
 Analysis of INSS and compensations
 Calculation of IRPJ, CSLL and deferred taxes
 Monetary actualization of tax credits
 Process of tax compensation (Per-Dcomp)
 Elaboration of payment slips of federal taxes withheld (DARF and GPS)
 Elaboration of monthly (DCTF) and annual obrigations (ECD, ECF, DIRF, LALUR)
 Ensure conformity of accounting & treasury processes with legal requirements, internal
control system and corporate policies (e.g. segregation of duties, approval process)

Responsible for attendance of external and internal auditors.
Education
 Accounting / Ciências Contábeis, CRC mandatory
 Expertise in CPC & IFRS and taxes.
 Expertise in SAP FI + CO mandatory
 Expertise in Synchro preferred
Job experience
 Profound experience in Management of Accounting & Treasury area in multinational
company. Minimum of 5 years experience in same function.
 Experience in service companies for Oil & Gas or Marine industry preferred.
 Audit experience preferred (Big Four)
 Fluent English required.
