funcionamento, para que possa tirar o máximo partido do mesmo, e guarde-o para
referência futura.

acessórios recomendados pelo fabricante e contidos
nesta embalagem, sob o risco de acidente ou danos
no aparelho.
- Este aparelho foi concebido apenas para uso
doméstico. Qualquer outro uso será considerado
impróprio e consequentemente perigoso. O fabricante
não pode ser responsabilizado por nenhuns
ferimentos ou danos resultantes do uso impróprio do
aparelho.
- Nunca deixe o aparelho sem supervisão durante a
utilização.
- Nunca desmonte ou tente efectuar qualquer tipo de
reparação no aparelho. Caso não cumpra com esta

pode efectuar qualquer tipo de reparação neste
aparelho.
- O aparelho não deve ser utilizado se estiver
avariado, se não estiver a funcionar correctamente ou
se detectar alguma anomalia no cabo de alimentação
ou na ficha. Sempre que detectar alguma avaria e/ou
anomalia dirija-se à loja onde o adquiriu ou a um
técnico qualificado, a fim de efectuar a reparação ou
substituição do aparelho ou do cabo de alimentação.
Assegure-se que somente são usadas peças novas e
recomendadas.
- De forma a evitar riscos de incêndio ou choques
eléctricos, certifique-se que nenhum tipo de líquido
entra em contacto com as partes eléctricas do
aparelho ou com o cabo de alimentação. Não
exponha o aparelho à humidade, não o utilize no
exterior e mantenha-o afastado de fontes directas ou
indirectas de água, como por exemplo, lavatórios,
jarras, vasos, etc. No caso de derrame de qualquer
líquido sobre as partes eléctricas, desligue o aparelho
imediatamente da fonte de alimentação e dirija-se à

- Na primeira utilização pode sentir um odor estranho
durante o aquecimento do aparelho. Isso é normal e
inofensivo, e desaparece após alguns instantes.

- Utilize sempre o aparelho sobre uma superfície
seca, plana, estável, resistente ao calor e afastado de
materiais inflamáveis, tais como toalhas, cortinas,
panos, roupas, papéis, detergentes, entre outros, pois
o pão pode incendiar-se durante a torragem.
- Mantenha o aparelho afastado de fogões a gás ou
eléctricos, de fornos quentes, de aparelhos sensíveis
ao calor ou vapores, de paredes e móveis. Assegurese que o coloca numa zona ventilada e nunca sobre
superfícies quentes.
- Ao ligar o aparelho, certifique-se que existe
suficiente circulação de ar à sua volta, pois durante a
utilização o pão pode entrar em contacto com a grelha
de aquecimento e arder, gerando fumo.
- A tomada de ligação do aparelho deve ser facilmente
acessível para que, em caso de emergência, a ficha
possa ser desligada rapidamente.
- A temperatura das superfícies acessíveis pode ser
elevada quando o aparelho está em funcionamento,
evite assim o contacto com essas superfícies para
prevenir queimaduras.
- Verifique periodicamente o cabo de alimentação. Se
estiver danificado, dirija-se à loja onde adquiriu o
aparelho ou a um técnico qualificado para reparação
ou substituição para evitar riscos.
- Não coloque nenhum objecto por cima do cabo de
alimentação, nunca o dobre ou torça e certifique-se
que o mantém afastado de arestas cortantes,
superfícies quentes e de locais de normal circulação

de pessoas de forma a evitar quedas. Não deixe que
o cabo de alimentação fique pendurado de forma que
uma criança com idade inferior a 8 anos o possa
agarrar.
- Não enrole o cabo de alimentação à volta do
aparelho para o arrumar, sem que este tenha
arrefecido completamente.
- Segure sempre na ficha para desligar o aparelho da
fonte de alimentação, nunca o faça puxando pelo
cabo de alimentação.
- Evite utilizar adaptadores e cabos de extensão. Se
necessário, utilize apenas os recomendados para este
tipo de aparelho.
- Depois de utilizar e antes de proceder a qualquer
operação de limpeza ou arrumação, certifique-se que
o aparelho está desligado da fonte de alimentação e
que arrefeceu completamente.
- Para
evitar
risco

incêndio,
remova
frequentemente as migalhas do tabuleiro. Desligue
imediatamente o aparelho da fonte de alimentação se
verificar fogo ou fumo. Não utilize o aparelho sem o
tabuleiro devidamente colocado.
- Não utilize este aparelho para torrar alimentos que
contenham açúcar, geleias ou conservas. Utilize-o
somente para torrar pão simples.
Aviso: nunca retire pão ou qualquer outro alimento da
abertura do aparelho com facas ou qualquer outro
objecto metálico, pois o contacto com as barras de
aquecimento pode causar electrocussão e danificar os

elementos de aquecimento do aparelho.
Aviso: A temperatura da abertura do aparelho e da
área circundante é elevada durante o funcionamento.
Nunca toque nestas partes. Caso o pão fique preso,
desligue o aparelho da fonte de alimentação e deixe
que arrefeça por completo antes de retirar o pão, a fim
de evitar queimaduras nas mãos.
- Não mergulhe o aparelho em água ou quaisquer
outros líquidos.
- Este aparelho é de Classe I e possui de origem um
cabo de alimentação e uma ficha com ligação terra,
pelo que deve ser sempre ligado a uma tomada com
ligação terra incorporada. Se a tomada eléctrica não
tiver ligação terra, é da responsabilidade pessoal do5
cliente substituí-la por uma com ligação terra.
- Este aparelho não se destina a funcionar através de
temporizadores externos ou de sistemas de controle
remoto separados.

DICAS
A Torradeira Longa T329 Electric Co é o aparelho perfeito para facilitar o seu dia-a-dia.
Permite torrar, descongelar e reaquecer o pão ao seu gosto.
- Manter o aparelho sempre limpo e não torrar pão com manteiga, geleias ou açúcar, são
dois factores essenciais para prolongar a vida útil do aparelho.
- Pode torrar diversos tipos de pão. Ajuste o nível de torragem de acordo com o seu gosto
pessoal.
Funcionamento
- Este aparelho dispõe de uma abertura extra larga e comprida (A) para torrar pão de
diversas espessuras e comprimentos. Tem 7 níveis de torragem com tempo pré-definido,
correspondendo o nível 1 ao menor tempo de torragem e o nível 7 ao maior tempo de
torragem.
- Coloque o aparelho numa superfície estável, plana e afastada de cortinas e de outros
materiais combustíveis.
- Desenrole completamente o cabo de alimentação e ligue o aparelho à fonte de
alimentação.
Nota: aconselha-se que na primeira utilização, para queimar os resíduos de fabrico
acumulados nas resistências, coloque o aparelho numa zona ventilada e que efectue
alguns ciclos de torragem completos, sem pão, no nível máximo. Rode o botão selector do
nível de torragem (G) para o nível 7 e pressione o manípulo (C) para baixo até fixar.
- Para seleccionar o nível de torragem mais indicado, aconselha-se que seleccione o nível
3 (nível intermédio), no botão selector do nível de torragem (G). Se pretender torrar mais o
pão, seleccione o nível acima e assim sucessivamente.
- Para torrar, coloque a fatia de pão na abertura (A), rode o botão selector do nível de
torragem (G) para o nível desejado e pressione o manípulo (C) para baixo até fixar. A
função de torragem inicia-se imediatamente.
- Para torrar pão congelado, coloque-o na abertura (A), rode o botão selector do nível de
torragem (G) para o nível desejado, pressione o manípulo (C) para baixo até fixar e
seleccione o botão de descongelação (E). A função de descongelação e torragem inicia-se
imediatamente.
Nota: o pão congelado demora mais tempo a torrar do que o pão descongelado.
- Para reaquecer as torradas sem as voltar a torrar, coloque-as na abertura (A),
pressione o manípulo (C) para baixo até fixar e seleccione o botão de reaquecimento (D).
A função de reaquecimento inicia-se imediatamente.
Nota: se o aparelho não estiver ligado à fonte de alimentação e se não houver nenhum
nível de torragem seleccionado no botão selector do nível de torragem (G), o manípulo (C)
não se fixa.
- Quando o ciclo de torragem terminar, o aparelho desliga-se automaticamente e as
torradas são elevadas.
- Pressione o botão de cancelamento (F) sempre que desejar interromper qualquer uma
das funções acima descritas.
Atenção: para remover pedaços de pão mais pequenos, levante ligeiramente o manípulo
(C) acima da posição inicial.
- Se o pão ficar preso no interior do aparelho, retire a ficha da fonte de alimentação,
permita que o aparelho arrefeça completamente e remova o pão. Não utilize facas ou
qualquer outro objecto metálico para retirar o pão, e não toque na grelha (B). Se
necessário vire o aparelho ao contrário para remover o pão mais facilmente.

- Sempre que utilizar este aparelho e detectar alguma irregularidade no seu
funcionamento, consulte a tabela que se segue para perceber as causas e as soluções
para as resolver. Caso não seja possível, contacte o Serviço de Informação ao Cliente ou

Causa possível
LIMPEZA
- Desligue o aparelho da fonte de alimentação e permita que arrefeça completamente
antes de proceder a qualquer operação de limpeza.
- Limpe o exterior do aparelho com um pano ligeiramente humedecido e seque-o com um
pano seco. Nunca utilize produtos de limpeza abrasivos para limpar o aparelho.
- O tabuleiro para migalhas (H) deve ser limpo regularmente. Não deixe que as migalhas
de pão se acumulem no interior do aparelho sob risco de incêndio.
- Para remover as migalhas de pão do interior do aparelho, retire o tabuleiro para
migalhas (H) e limpe-o, vire o aparelho ao contrário e abane-o. Volte a colocar o tabuleiro
para migalhas (H) no devido lugar.
- Nunca mergulhe o aparelho em água ou qualquer outro líquido.

any malfunction, you must contact the store where you

- You may notice an odd smell when the appliance is
used for the first time. This is normal and harmless,
and will vanish after a while.
- Always use the appliance on a dry, flat, stable, heatresistant surface and keep it away from flammable
materials, such as towels, curtains, cloths, clothing,
papers, detergents, among others, because the bread
may burn during the toasting process.
- Keep the appliance away from gas or electrical
burners, hot ovens, appliances sensible to heat and
steam, walls and furniture. Make sure you place it on a
well-ventilated area and never on a hot surface.
- When connecting the appliance, make sure there is
enough air circulation around it, since during use the

bread can get in contact with the heating grid and
burn, creating smoke.
- The wall socket must be accessible so that the plug
can be easily unplugged in an emergency.
- The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high
when the appliance is operating. Avoid the contact
with these surfaces to prevent the risk of burns.
- Periodically check the supply cord for any damages.
If the supply cord is damaged, contact the store where
the appliance was bought or a qualified technician for
repairing or replacement in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not place any objects over the supply cord, never
crease or crimp it, and make sure to keep it away from
cutting edges, hot surfaces, and away from places

- After use and before cleaning or storage, make sure
that the appliance is disconnected from the wall socket
and has cool down completely.
- To avoid the risk of fire, frequently clean the crumb
tray. Immediately disconnect the appliance from the
wall socket if any smoke or fire is observed.

- Do not use this appliance with food containing sugar,
jelly or artificial preservatives, just use it with simple
bread.
- Warning: never attempt to remove bread or any other
food from the bread slot using knifes or other metallic
objects, since the contact with the heating grids may
cause electrocution and damage the appliance’s
heating elements.
- Warning: during operation, the temperature of the
bread slot and surronding area is high. Never touch
those areas. If a slice of bread gets stuck inside the
appliance, disconnect it from the wall socket and let it
cool down before try to remove the bread, in order to
avoid hand burns.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other
liquid.
- This appliance belongs to Class I and has a power
cord and plug with earth connection and should
always be connected to a wall socket with earth
connection. If the wall socket does not have earth
connection, is customer responsibility to replace it by
another with earth connection.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate remote-control
systems.

PREPARING FOR USE
The Long Slice Toaster T329 Electric Co is the perfect appliance to facilitate your day-byday. Allow to toast, defrost and reheat the bread to your liking.
Operation
- This appliance has an extra long and wide bread slot (A) to toast bread with different
thickness and size. It has 7 browning levels with preset time, being level 1 the minimum
browning time and level 7 the maximum browning time.
- Place your toaster on a level and stable surface, and away from curtains and other
flammable materials.
- Unwind the supply cord completely and connect the appliance to a wall socket.
Note: in order to burn the manufacture’s residues accumulated on the heating elements, it
is advisable on the first use to place the appliance in a ventilated area and make some
complete browning cycles, without bread, at the maximum level. Turn the browning
selector button G) to level 7 and press the fixation handle (C) downwards until fixing it.
- To select the most indicated browning level, it is recommended to set the browning
selector button (G) on level 3 (medium level). If the bread needs to be more browned,
select an higher level and so on.
- To toast, place the bread slice in the bread slot (A), turn the browning selector button (G)
to the desired level and press the handle (C) downwards until fixing it. The browning
function starts immediately.
- To toast frozen bread, place it in the bread slot (A), turn the browning selector button (G)
to the desired level, press the handle (C) downwards until fixing it and select the defrost
button (E). The defrosting and browning functions start immediately.
Note: the frozen bread needs more browning time than the defrost bread.
- To reheat toasts without browning again, place them in the bread slot (A), press the
handle (C) downwards until fixing it and select the reheat button (D). The reheating
function starts immediately.
Note: if the toaster is not connected to the wall socket and if no browning level is selected
on the browning selector button (G), the handle (C) will not be fixed.

- When the browning cycle ends, the appliance will automatically turns off and the toasts
will be raised.
- To stop any of the above described functions, press the cancel button (F) at any time.
Warning: to remove small bread slices, slightly raise the handle (C) above the initial
position.
- If the bread becomes stuck inside the toaster, unplug the appliance from the wall socket,
allow it to cool down completely and then remove the bread. Never use knifes or any other
metallic object and never touch the automatic centre grill (B). if necessary, turn the
appliance upside down to easily remove the bread.
HINTS
- Keeping the appliance clean and not toasting bread containing butter, jellies or sugar are
two essentials factors to guarantee the full life time of the appliance.
- You can toast different kinds of bread. Adjust the browning level according to your taste.
CLEANING
- Always unplug the appliance from the wall socket and allow it to cool down completely
before cleaning.
- Clean the appliance’s exterior with a slightly damp cloth and dry it with a soft dry cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
- The slide out crumb tray (H) must be regularly cleaned. Do not allow breadcrumbs to
accumulate inside the toaster, under the risk of fire.
- To remove the crumbs from inside the toaster, slide out the crumb tray (H), clean it, turn
the toaster upside down and shake it. Slide in the crumb tray (H) to the right position again.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
