DECREASE OF SHAREHOLDER PARTICIPATION

Cetip S.A. – Mercados Organizados (“Cetip”) (BM&FBOVESPA: CTIP3), Latin
America’s largest depositary of private fixed income securities and Brazil’s largest private
asset clearinghouse hereby informs that, in accordance with article 12 of CVM instruction
358 of 2002, received correspondence from João Carlos Ribeiro dated January 17, 2012,
the content of which is included below: (free translation of the original notice).
“Dear Sr.,
In accordance with the provisions of Circular Letter CVM/SEP nº 004/2011, I hereby
inform that, as a shareholder of CETIP with participation equivalent to 6.17% (six point
seventeen percent) of its share capital, I transferred 3,288,578 (three million two hundred
and eighty-eight thousand, five hundred and seventy-eight) shares of my ownership to a
Brazilian company denominated PONTOON INVESTIMENTOS S.A., headquarted at Rua
Fernandes de Barros, Curitiba, Paraná, nº. 514, Alto da XV, CEP 80045-390, enrolled in
the Corporate Taxpayer’s Registry (CNPJ/MF) under no. 08.579.238/ 0001-25. With this
transfer, my participation in CETIP’s share capital fell to 4.79% (four point seventy-nine
per cent), which made this notice required.
No further for the moment, I place myself at your disposal for any clarification that may be
needed.”

sob o n" 08.579.238/0001-25. Com esta transferência, minha participação acionária na
CETIP caiu para 4,79% (quatro inteiros e setenta e nove centésimos por cento), o que
tornou necessária a presente comunicação.
