Strategic planning and
organizational change
Abstract - The foremost challenge in the organizational new paradigms is to get
a real compromise of the people with changes proposals. So, Embrapa
Corrodes in the way to reply to the new dynamics of the local market and the
own research, by implementing an strategic management and planning process
in the organization, came across complex human relationships weft passed by
different cultures, status, power games and interest conflicts.
The weft disposition characterizes the organization climate when leading with
human relationships. This paper is the fruit of a work that aimed to understand
by mean of organizational climate research, secundary data survey and
interviews, the people posture, face to Embrapa Corrodes changes
implementation.
During the study, hindrances in the changes operationalization were found, like:
little participation of the employees in the discussions and changes elaboration,
insufficiency of the information and technico-emotional preparation of the
latters face to the changes, managerial disprepare for implementing and
accompanying new systems and deficiency in the communication channels
responsible of the feedback necessary for the future adaptations.
