Using statistical techniques, the lithofacies recognizing became efective, because provide simultaneous analysis of serveral logs. In this case, the classification is made in terms of log properties. It’s necessary to use some statistcal parameters: Pseudo F Pseudo T2 CCC Tree diagram Discriminant Analyses It is used in supervised classification, when cores (or other rock type classification) are avaliable. The logs are using to create a function. This function (or mathematical model) is apliyed in non-cores wells to classify the rock-types. Customize for PETROBRAS - SAS Methodology Used If avaliable, which logs can be used for the best model of recognize facies ? How many facies the logs can recognize ? Which facies are these ? Which relationship among these facies with original facies ? How these facies can be defined by logs (and rock physics) properties ? Métodos de Agrupamento Basicamente eles se diferenciam pela maneira de medir a similaridade (distância) entre os grupos de amostras. AVERAGE LINKAGE: A distância média é calculada da distância entre cada amostra em um cluster e todas as outras amostras em outro cluster. Os dois clusters com menor distância média são amalgamados em um novo cluster. Métodos de Agrupamento - Centróide A distância entre dois clusters é definida como a distância Euclidiana entre dois centróides ou médias. Este método é mais robusto à presença de outliers. Métodos de Agrupamento K-MEANS: Este método deve ser usado quando já se conhece o número K de clusters que se deseja criar. Inicialmente ele cria K clusters formados aleatoriamente. A seguir ele reorganiza as amostras que compõem cada cluster de modo a minimizar a variabilidade interna de cada cluster e maximizar a variabilidade entre clusters. VARIÂNCIA MÍNIMA DE WARD: Este método tende a juntar clusters com um pequeno número de amostras, e tem forte tendência a produzir clusters com aproximadamente o mesmo número de amostras. Ele também é muito sensível à presença de outliers. Estatística Pseudo-F A estatística Pseudo-F apresenta um valor relativamente alto quando é adotado um número adequado de grupos. Estatística Pseudo-T2 Para um número de grupos imediatamente menor que o ideal essa estatística assume um valor alto. Estatística CCC Valores maiores que 2 ou 3 números ideais de grupos Valores entre 0 e 2 grupos potenciais Valores negativos altos amostras com outliers Diagrama em Árvore O Diagrama em Árvore permite visualizar graficamente a variação de R2 (proporção da variância) com o número de grupos adotado. Quanto maior o número adotado de grupos, maior será o valor de R2. Regras Paramétricas REGRA DISCRIMINANTE LINEAR: Gera uma função linear entre cada fácies e os perfis geofísicos. FAC_A = a0 + a1*GR + a2*RHOB+ .... + aN*DT FAC_B = b0 + b1*GR + b2*RHOB+ .... + bN*DT .............. FAC_M = m0 + m1*GR + m2*RHOB+ .... + mN*DT REGRA DISCRIMINANTE QUADRÁTICA: Gera uma função de 2° grau entre cada fácies e os perfis. TESTE DE IGUALDADE DAS MATRIZES DE COVARIÂNCIA: Decide automaticamente se usa a RDL ou a RDQ com base no teste de homogeneidade das matrizes de covariância. Regras Não-Paramétricas KNN: Consiste em atribuir a uma dada amostra o rótulo que aparece mais vezes entre os rótulos dos seus K vizinhos mais próximos, segundo a métrica adotada. CANÔNICA: A idéia é obter uma variável Y1, combinação linear das variáveis originais, que maximiza o poder de discriminação entre as fácies. A seguir obter uma nova variável Y2, também combinação linear das variáveis originais, e não correlacionada com Y1, que junto com Y1, maximiza o poder de discriminação entre as fácies. A partir de um certo ponto as novas variáveis Yi não apresentam uma contribuição significativa para a discriminação entre as fácies. Regras Não-Paramétricas LINEAR PASSO-A-PASSO: Seleciona entre os vários perfis aqueles que mais contribuem para discriminar entre as fácies pretendidas e exclui do modelo os demais perfis, segundo um critério de aceitação baseado no Lambda de Wilks.
