3. Area of scientific activity
My research interest centre in the areas of biodiversity, population and conservation genetics,
hybridization, speciation and phylogeography. I am particularly interested in the application of
molecular methodologies in combination with new statistical genetics approaches, to gain further
understanding on population genetic structure, evolutionary relationships and life history variation of
organisms.
