Portfolio de: Para a sua reflexão – um pouco sobre a história das leis de conservação “Nature and nature’s laws lay hid in night. God said, let Newton be! And all was light!” The quantity of motion is the measure of the same, arising from the velocity and quantity of matter conjointly. The motion of the whole is the sum of the motions of all parts; and therefore in a body double in quantity, with equal velocity, the motion is double; with twice the velocity, it is quadruple." Editora Atual, 2000, p.46) Aristóteles (IV AC) “Bodies which are at rest remain so owing to their resistance. When one is running fast it is difficult to divert the whole body from its impetus in one direction to some movement. The force of what which initiates movement must be made equal to the force of that which remains at rest...” (Isaac Newton - Principia, 1687) 2a Lei de Newton: "The change of motion is proportional to the motive force impressed; and is made in the direction of the right line in which that force is impressed. If any force generates a motion, a double force will generate double the motion, a triple force triple the motion, whether that force be impressed altogether and at once, or gradually and successively." (Isaac Newton - Principia, 1687) 3a Lei de Newton: “To every action there is always opposed an equal reaction: or, the mutual actions of two bodies upon each other are always equal, and directed to contrary parts.” Dra. Míriam Tvrzská de Gouvêa/2004-2S 67
