Wer kennt es nicht? Es ist Winter, aber es
liegt kein Schnee! Entweder ist es zu warm
oder es fehlt der Niederschlag, obwohl es
kalt genug ist. Die SnowBOX lässt es schneien,
wann immer Schnee gewünscht wird... sogar
im Sommer!
Die SnowBOX ist weltweit die erste von der
Außentemperatur unabhängige mobile
Schneemaschine in Serienproduktion. Dieses
Schneeproduktionssystem produziert feinste
Eiskristalle, die der Qualität natürlichen
Schnees in nichts nachstehen. Die
Schneeproduktion mit der SnowBOX ist
vollkommen umweltverträglich. Lediglich
Strom und Wasser sind erforderlich; es werden
keine chemischen Zusätze verwendet.
Konventionelle Beschneiungsanlagen sind
von der Außentemperatur und Luftfeuchtig-
keit abhängig. Die SnowBOX Schneeproduktion ist von den äußeren Klimabedingungen nahezu unabhängig.
In der mobilen Standardversion kann im
Temperaturbereich von -2$C bis +35$C
Schnee produziert werden. Eine Tropic-Version
erlaubt die Produktion auch bei noch höheren
Temperaturen. Bei Außentemperaturen unter
-2$C ist die Anlage in frostsicherer Umgebung
zu installieren.
Ob als mobile Anlage oder individuell
geplante Festinstallation - die SnowBOX
eignet sich für die unterschiedlichsten
Anwendungsbereiche: Events, Dekorationen,
TV-Produktionen oder zur Installation in
Freizeitparks, Skigebieten und Skihallen.

is no snow in sight. Either it´s too warm, or
there is just no precipitation, although it is
cold enough. With the SnowBOX it snows,
whenever snow is required… even in summer!

The SnowBOX is the first serialised mobile
snow machine worldwide which can produce
snow regardless of the outside temperature.
This snow production system produces the
finest ice crystals equal in every way in quality
to natural snow. The production of snow with
the SnowBOX is completely environmentally
sound. Only water and electricity are needed.
No chemical additives are required.
Conventional snow making systems depend
on the outside temperature and humidity.
Production of snow with the SnowBOX
functions almost entirely irrespective of
outside conditions.
In the standard mobile version snow can be
produced within a temperature range of
between -2$C and +35$C. The tropic version
produces snow at even higher temperatures.
Where temperatures sink below -2$C the
system should be installed in a frost-resistant
location.
Whether as a mobile machine or an
individually planned permanent installation,
the SnowBOX is suitable for the most varied
uses: events, decoration, TV productions or
for installation in amusement parks, ski resorts
or for indoor ski halls.

Die SnowBOX ist das Ergebnis jahrelanger
Entwicklungsarbeit. Ergebnis ist ein
einzigartiges Schneeproduktionssystem zur
Herstellung von Echtschnee bei einer
Außentemperatur von bis zu +35$C. Das
System basiert auf dem Prinzip der
Scherbeneiserzeugung. Es werden Eiskristalle
hergestellt und von einem Kühlgebläse über
einen flexiblen Schlauch gleichmäßig an
jeden beliebigen Ort verteilt.
An gekühlten Walzen wird Wasser zu Eis
heruntergefroren und anschließend in feine
Partikel zerstäubt. Dieser Schnee besitzt
aufgrund seiner höheren Dichte ein erheblich
besseres Kältepotential als Naturschnee oder
herkömmlich maschinell produzierter
Kunstschnee.
The SnowBOX is the result of years of
development. The result is a unique snow
production system for the manufacture of
real snow at outside temperatures up to
+35$C. The system is based on the principles
of fragmented ice production, whereby the
finest ice crystals are produced and distributed
evenly by a cooling fan and flexible hose to
any location.
Water is reduced to ice via cooled rollers and
then sprayed as fine particles. As a result of
the high density the snow is substantially
colder than snow produced naturally or by
conventional snow producing machines.

mobilen Anlagen sind die SnowBOX
Schneemaschinen als Festinstallationen in
Sport- oder Freizeiteinrichtungen wie z.B.
Freizeit- und Erlebnisparks, Skihallen,
Wintererlebnishallen, Zoos, Schwimmbädern,
Saunaanlagen oder für Kunstprojekte ideal
geeignet. Die Einsatzbereiche in Wintersportgebieten reichen von schneearmen
Tallagen wie Kinderwiesen, Übungshängen
und stark beanspruchten Abschwingbereichen
bis zur Installation von permanenten
Snowtubing- bzw. Rodelbahnen. Auch die
Beschneiung von Skisprungschanzen oder
Loipen wird mit der SnowBOX problemlos
unabhängig von der Außentemperatur
möglich.
Bei der Festinstallation von SnowBOX
Systemen ist die bei der Schneeherstellung
entstehende Wärme weiter nutzbar zu
machen. Innerhalb dieses ökologischen
Energienutzungskonzeptes können so z.B.
angrenzende Gebäude beheizt oder Warmwasser aufbereitet werden. Diese maximale
Energieausnutzung schont die Umwelt vor
überflüssiger Energieverschwendung während
der Schneeproduktion.

As well as for snow production using the
mobile systems, the SnowBOX snow
machines are ideal as permanent installations
suitable for sport and recreation centres
such as amusement parks, indoor ski and
winter centres, zoos or even for art projects.
Their use in winter sport regions ranges from
snow deprived valley areas such as children’s
playgrounds, practice slopes and heavily used
downhill areas to installation of permanent
snowtubing and toboggan runs. Even the
snowing of ski jumps and cross-country ski
runs is possible and easy with the SnowBOX
system, irrespective of outside temperatures.
Additionally it is possible to utilize the
warmth produced during the production of
snow with a permanent installation.
Neighbouring buildings can be heated and
warm water can be processed within this
concept of energy utilization. This maximum
energy utilization concept protects the
environment from unnecessary energy
wastage during snow production.
