together organic chemists from Austria, France,
Germany, Hungary and Italy to discuss recent
developments in organic and biomolecular chemistry as
total synthesis of natural products, enantioselective
transition metal catalysis, photochemistry, biomolecular
chemistry and development of materials. 26 scientists
will present their work and in addition a poster session
will be included. The conference will take place in the
hotel “Der Achtermann”, a four star hotel in the center
of Goslar to generate a stimulating atmosphere for
discussions and the development of new joined

The former Free Imperial Town of Goslar, a small city in
the Harz mountains, is famous for an over-1000-year
history and especially for its silver mine which was in
use for a millenium and laid the foundation for the
power of many German kings.
Goslar can easily be reached by train from Hanover or
Göttingen within about one hour (both towns have an
ICE connection); the next international airport is
Hanover. If there is no direct flight to Hanover it is more
convenient to fly to Frankfurt and take the train to
Göttingen and further on to Goslar. We are happy to
assist you in any way to arrange your itinerary.
