This farm holidays is located 3 km from Pomarance in the middle of the lovely hills of Tuscany.
It is near both to the Tuscan Coast and Chianti wine roads. You can find a very familiar and peaceful place where
you can spend relaxing vacations among art, food and nature.
If you want to escape from the every-day distressing life, and relax yourself our holiday house is the right place.
It is located in the real middle of Tuscany, so that you can easily reach both the Etruscan coast and the most
important artistic towns by car.
In few minutes you can visit Volterra, San Gimignano, Bolgheri, but also Pisa, Siena and Florence, or you can spend
some hours at the seaside.
This farm holidays is composed by 9 independent apartments furnished in proper tuscan style. The swimming pool,
reserved for the guests, allows to relax in the hot summer days and to enjoy the beauties of the surrounding hills
and valleys.
The owner produces and sells a very tasteful extra-virgin olive oil.
Optional: half board pension with Breakfast and dinner (not included in the price)

EXCURSIONS This region offers trips allowing the contact with nature.
Charming the “Rock of the Beautiful Young Girls” along the river Cecina, the “Sillana Fortress” (11 kms), Larderello
(12 kms) and the boracic zone, well-known all over the world because of the endogenic phenomena.
RIDING It is possible to ride horses and to take lessons.
THE WAYS OF THE WINE Vineyards and cellars of this zone may be visited on demand.
ART CITIES Within a 70 kms radius, important Tuscany art cities, like Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, may be
visited. Florence is just 90 kms from here.
SEA Near beaches like Cecina and Donoratico (between 40 and 50 kms) and more distant others: it is possible to
reach the Island of Elba, well connected.
BATHS Numerous the thermal towns in Tuscany: the nearest is Casciana Terme (45 kms).
HISTORICAL COMPETITION OF THE QUARTERS On the second Sunday of September we celebrate the “Palio delle
Contrade”. That is theatre performances of competitions among the four quarters of Pomarance.
MOUNTAIN BIKE It is possible to rent mountain bikes.
SPORT ACTIVITIES You find tennis courts, football and basketball pitch in Pomarance.
FAIRS AND MARKETS Weekly market every Thursday. In August local product market, called Divine Glass (better
Glass of Wine).
MUSIC AND RECREATION Once a week, at least, in July and August, in the main square.
MUSEUMS It is possible to visit:
- in Pomarance “Casa Bicocchi” (noble palace of the nineteenth century) and “Guerrieri e Artigiani” (Warriors and
Craftsmen: exibition of archaeological findings of our Commune)
- in Larderello “Geothermal Museum”
- in Volterra “Museum Guarnacci” (important etruscan museum) and “Civic Picture Gallery”.
