This private game lodge, situated in the Sabi Sand Reserve, is close to the world
famous Kruger National Park which is in the Mpumalanga Province in the beautiful
north-eastern part of South Africa. The trip by air takes approximately 1 hour 20
minutes from Johannesburg or 30 minutes from the Kruger Mpumalanga International
Airport (KMIA). If you prefer driving, the trip from KMIA will take 2 hours.
Sir Richard Branson's award winning private game reserve, set in the heart of the Sabi
Sand bushveld, comprises of two dramatic lodges set 500 metres apart and connected
by elevated walkways. This unique approach gives the guests two different
perspectives over the serene bushveld. These lodges redefine the rules of a safari
lodge by offering swimming pools, gymnasiums, a wine cellar, Aroma Boma spas with
panoramic views, a bush observatory and tennis courts.
Enjoy spending quiet time recharging your batteries by getting a massage, stargazing,
having an outdoor candlelight dinner or an afternoon lazing around the pool or choose
to be more active and go out on one of the exciting twice daily game drives or walking
safaris and come face to face with the Big 5. The lodge is built on top of a rocky hill
affording the guests breath taking views of the bushveld from the several viewing
decks and from the luxury suites themselves.
There are ten rooms accommodating 20-25 guests and children of all ages are
welcome. The luxury chalet suite and all the rooms have en suite bathrooms and offer
a range of layouts, features and décor to suit the most discerning guest. The rooms,
recently refurbished, have a contemporary African design with a hint of tribal flair and
are all immaculate, well-appointed and welcoming.
Among the special features of the private lodge are infinity plunge pools, library,
private balconies, personal chef, fireplace, kitchen, bar and Jacuzzi.
