ON GUAL ist ein ausgesprochen distinguierter
Golfplatz, der unweit von Palma, zwischen
den Dörfern Sant Jordi und Algaida liegt. Wer hier

Der 18-Loch-Platz ist mit Cool Season Gräsern ausgestattet. Die nordeuropäischen dichten Gräser
garantieren das ganze Jahr über ein sattes Grün. Da
die nordischen Greens aufwendig in Pflege und
Bewässerung sind, verfügt der halb-private Golfplatz über eine eigene Osmose-Anlage. Sie filtert
noch die letzten Bakterien und Salzreste aus dem
bereits wieder aufbereiteten Wasser heraus. Somit
wird ein Beitrag zum Umweltschutz geleistet,da das
Wasser mit Trinkwasserqualität anschließend teilweise wieder ins Grundwasser sickert.

The 18-hole course has been planted with Cool Season grasses, which guarantee a luscious green all
year round.As the Nordic greens require a lot of care
and water, the semi-private golf course has its own
Osmosis system. This system is a vital contribution
to the protection of the environment as part of the
water with drinking water quality subsequently
seeps into the groundwater again.

de Palma. Aquí el jugador recibe un tratamiento de
alta calidad y disfruta de una brillante estética y un
reto en el juego.
Los 18 hoyos se cubren con gramínea Cool Season,
garantizándose así que luzcan todo el año con un
intenso color verde. Dado que los greens nórdicos
requieren mucho cuidado y riego,este campo semiprivado está equipado con una planta de ósmosis.
Ello supone una contribución a favor del medio
ambiente, puesto que parte del agua vuelve a las
aguas freáticas con calidad de agua potable.

ein im kolumbianischen Kolonialstil gebautes Herrenhaus aus dem 19 Jahrhundert, das derzeit aufwendig restauriert und in Zukunft als Membershouse dienen wird. Dazu steht ein neues Clubhaus mit
Restaurant, Bar und Konferenzräumen, sowie einem
kleinen Spa-Bereich mit Sauna und Massage zur Verfügung. Der Ausblick über die Bucht von Palma ist
grandios.
Golfplatzarchitekt Thomas Himmel machte aus der
156 Hektar großen Hügellandschaft einen der besten Plätze im Mittelmeerraum.Dafür ließ er rund 1,7
Millionen Kubikmeter Erde bewegen, 1.300 alte Olivenbäume und landestypische Johannisbrotbäume
anpflanzen und zahlreiche Wasserhindernisse anlegen, u. a. einen 1,6 km langer künstlicher Bach, in
dem sich Enten und Frösche tummeln. Überall blühen traumhafte kleine Biotope: Roughzonen mit
ganzjährig bunten Blumen. Und sogar TempranilloTrauben wurden angebaut, da der zu Recht stolze
Golfplatzbesitzer Adam Pamer auch ein großer
Weinliebhaber ist.

s if it came straight out of a picture book, a
manor house from the 19th century is at the
centre of this unique landscaping architecture. It is
currently extensively and lovingly restored and will
in future function as a Members’ house. In addition,
there will be a new clubhouse with restaurant, bar
and conference rooms available as well as little Spa
area with sauna and massage facilities. The view
across the bay of Palma is breathtaking. Golf course
architect Thomas Himmel turned the 156 hectare
hilly landscape to one of the best course in the
Mediterranean area. Therefore he had 1.7 million
cubic metres of soil moved, 1,300 old olive trees and
country typical carob trees planted and numerous
water obstacles created,among others a 1,6 km (0.99
miles) long artificial stream, where ducks and frogs
splash about. Everyway one can see magnificent little biotopes blossom: rough zones with colourful
flowers all year round. And even Tempranillo grapes
have been planted as the justifiably proud golf
course owner Adam Palmer is a great lover of wines.

de esta singular arquitectura paisajística se
levanta una finca señorial del siglo XIX, actualmente
en proceso de restauración y que en el futuro se destinará a centro para los socios. Complementan las
instalaciones la nueva casa sede con restaurante,bar
y salas de reunión,así como una zona Spa con sauna
y servicio de masajes.Destaca asimismo la magnífica
panorámica sobre la bahía de Palma. El proyecto del
arquitecto Thomas Himmel de haber convertido un
paisaje de colinas de 156 hectáreas en uno de los
mejores campos del Mediterráneo.Por eso el ha contemplado mover 1,7 millones de metros cúbicos de
tierra, la plantación de 1.300 olivos y algarrobos, así
como el diseño de numerosos obstáculos de agua,
entre otros un lago artificial de 1,6 kilómetros de largo en el que habitan patos y ranas. Abundan los
pequeños biotopos, con plantas multicolor que florecen todo el año. Incluso se han sembrado uvas
tempranillo, dada la afición a la enología del propietario del campo de golf se siente orgulloso con
razón.

Golftunier, dem Trofeo AVD Golf Son Gual, eingeweiht. Bei diesem Eröffnungstunier konnten die Beteiligten nicht nur die besonders schönen Golfanlage, sondern
auch ausgezeichnete Organisation genießen. Typisch für
die Anlage sind die riesigen Sandhindernisse,bestechend
sind die außergewöhnlich großen Abschläge,die bezeichnenderweise mit Billardflächen vergleichbar sind und verschiedenste Variationsmöglichkeiten zulassen. Sportlich
herausfordernd und gleichzeitig spielbar für alle Handicapklassen, wird Golfern aller Spielstärken Abwechslung
und Spaß garantiert. Das Übungsgelände verfügt über 3
Puttinggreens und eine Drivingrange mit 7 Zielgreens
und Sandbunkern. Auch hier wird stets vom Rasen abgeschlagen.
Bei Son Gual stimmt von der Anlage bis hin zum Service
einfach alles – Qualitativ hochwertige Anlagen wie diese
heben das Golfniveau auf Mallorca beträchtlich.

Trofeo AVD Golf Son Gual, was played, officially
opening the course. Participants at this opening tournament were not only able to enjoy the particularly beautiful
golf course but also the excellent organisation.Typical for
the course are the huge sand obstacles and also very
impressive are the exceptionally large tees, which could
be compared to billiard areas as they provide opportunities for a great variety of play. Sportively challenging and
at the same time open to golfers of all handicaps, guaranteeing golfers with different playing abilities variety and
fun.
The practice area has 3 putting greens and a driving range
with 7 target greens and sand bunkers. Here too players
will always tee off the grass.
At Son Gual everything is right: from the course to the
service - just everything. High quality courses as this one
significantly raise the standard of golf played on Mallorca.
