August 2013 Program – The MetClub is an international organization for cultural, social and educational programs in Stuttgart. – Our modest yearly membership fee entitles members to discounts for cultural/educational program entrance fees. The Club’s lively and active members organize most of the interesting programs themselves. Membership is not required to attend programs - so just join in, we’d like to meet you! Everybody will bring their own grill food and beverages. Additional food to share (potluck) is welcome but not expected. Please let the organizer know in case you bring something extra. Organizer provides charcoal and grill trays. Common cost will be shared. The event takes place only in good weather. Meeting point: Bus stop & parking Metzgerhau. The most famous and biggest one offers the city of Ludwigsburg. Why don't you come along and join us? The film they’re showing is "Life of Pi", based on Yann Martel's novel, about a 16-year-old Indian boy, who is stranded in the Pacific Ocean on a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger. We meet at 20:00 h in front of the entrance. The movie (spoken language: German) starts at 21:30 h, before that we will enjoy live music, delicious food & drinks. Don’t worry about getting back home; from Ludwigsburg main station you’ll be able to catch a local train /S-Bahn to Stuttgart or elsewhere every 15 Minutes also late in the evening.
