The villa is located in the centre of Schiazzano, a small village in Massa Lubrense,
where you will find two local restaurants and a few small food shops. Located mid-way
between the gulfs of Naples and Salerno, 9 km from Sorrento and 15 km from
Positano, the villa lies in the heart of Massa Lubrense, renowned for its world-famous
restaurants and delightful coastline. The luxury villa for rent offers fantastic views of
the Gulf of Naples, Ischia, Procida and part of the island of Capri. The house is also
ideally situated for guests wishing to go trekking in the Sorrento Peninsula, with hiking
routes available along a number of paths. The villa is next to a little side road which is
closed to traffic.
The tasteful furnishings and the rooms that look onto the Gulf of Naples make this
Amalfi Coast private villa the ideal place for a restful, exclusive stay. The house is part
of a historical residence, and the villa has conserved the original sandstone staircases,
frescoes and vaulted ceilings, giving it an attractively old-and unusually fashioned air.
Access to the villa is through a lobby with a distinctive fresco dating back to the 17th
century. From the same period are the sandstone staircase and the beaten lapillus
roofs. On the ground floor is the large, welcoming dining room, the small bar area and
the well equipped kitchen. The well equipped kitchen offers everything you could
possibly need during your stay, including an Italian coffee maker. To reach the first
floor, you can use either the ancient sandstone staircase or the lift. There are three
distinctive living areas on the first floor: a sitting room with a fireplace, a reading room
and a study with an internet connection and plasma-screen TV.
The seven bedrooms are located on the first and second floors. The seven rooms are
called after seven mermaids, with beautiful furnishings designed to reflect the
personality of each mermaid. Partenope, Ligea and Leucosia are dedicated to the soul
and to introspection, while Telete, Redne, Procida and Molpe, decorated in brighter
colours, exalt the vitality of body and spirit. The double rooms can host a total of fifteen
