2. Health Insurance:
Every student of HMTH has to have a valid health insurance. You should take out a medical insurance for
abroad (Auslandskrankenversicherung). Most insurances in Europe offer a European Health Insurance Card.
3. Semester Contribution:
ERASMUS Students do not have to pay tuition fees. There is, however, an administrative contribution per
semester (WS 07/08 162,19 € which includes a ticket for public transport in Hannover City and Niedersachsen
as well as the students’ services such as cafeteria, halls of residence, etc.. This contribution has to be paid
before August 31th. 2007 to the following account

4. Language Courses:
We try to offer language courses for foreign students each term. Please contact the International Office

6. Library:
The HMTH library is located on the 3rd floor. Your student card enables you to borrow books, music and
magazines. You can listen to the CDs and records and make use of the computers with free internet access.
7. Rehearsal Rooms:
There are practise rooms in the main building, the „Z-floor“ and the „Schnecke“. All of them have a piano.
There is a list on each door to register half an hour before you want to practise.
For the “Schnecke” you can register every Tuesday morning at 7 am in room 202.
Besides, you can try to get a key to some of the teaching rooms (signature from the teacher needed).
8. Food:
The canteen is open from 9 am to 5 pm. Lunch is offered from 11.30 to 2 pm. You can also find several little
restaurants in the area.
