New packaging for ER and EPX ferrite cores from Šumperk
The packaging for EPCOS ER and EPX ferrite cores from the plant in Šumperk, Czech
Republic, is being optimized. Until now the cores have been packed in EPS trays or blister
packs in a cardboard box. In future, a compact skin packaging will be used whereby the
cores are placed on a piece of paperboard and vacuum heat sealed with a polyethylene film.
The packing units (PU) will also change due to the new packaging.

The packaging for EPCOS ER and EPX ferrite cores from the plant in Šumperk, Czech Republic, is being
optimized. Until now the cores have been packed in EPS trays or blister packs in a cardboard box. In
future, a compact skin packaging will be used whereby the cores are placed on a piece of paperboard and
vacuum heat sealed with a polyethylene film. The packing units (PU) will also change due to the new
packaging./
Die Verpackung für EPCOS ER- und EPX-Ferritkerne aus dem Werk Šumperk, Tschechien, wird
optimiert. Bisher wurden die Kerne in EPS-Trays oder Blisterverpackungen in einer Kartonbox verpackt.
Künftig wird eine Vakuum-Skin-Verpackung verwendet, wobei die Kerne mit einer Polyethylen-Folie auf
einem Karton versiegelt werden. Die Verpackungseinheiten (VE) ändern sich aufgrund der neuen
Verpackung ebenfalls.

If EPCOS does not receive notification to the contrary within a period of 10 weeks, EPCOS assumes that
the customer agrees to the change. For an interim period we cannot rule out that old as well as new
products will be shipped.
Falls EPCOS innerhalb von 10 Wochen keine gegenteilige Mitteilung erhält, geht EPCOS davon aus, dass
die geplante Änderung vom Kunden akzeptiert ist. Innerhalb einer Übergangszeit kann es vorkommen,
dass sowohl alte wie auch neue Ware geliefert wird.
