Biohazard vertical laminar flow hood BIOLAF 4
Biohazard vertical laminar flow hood BIOLAF 4 BIO ACTIVA The BIOLAF cabinet has been designed for the global protection of the operator, product and environment (Class II, A and B3 type) Outside dimension: B = 1285 mm W = 795 mm H = 1450 mm Inside dimension: B = 1185 mm W = 600 mm H = 655 mm (other sizes on request) . The biohazard cabinets in Class II, A and B3 type are featured by the front opening window, entrance of the air from outside, vertical laminar flow air stream inside the chamber and by the presence of an absolute HEPA filter in exhaust. The hood is TÜV certified, according to UNI EN 12469. The cabinet has been projected for the global protection of the operator, the product and the environment. The laminar flow hood Bio Activa is suitable for the handling of low/medium biological risk pathogens. The cabinet Bio Activa is a vertical laminar flow with partial air recycle (ca. 70%) through HEPA filter and partial air exaust (ca. 30%) of the treated air, through a second motor-fan and the HEPA filter, with protective air curtain for the operator through the entrance on the front opening, without crossing the working plain thus avoiding the contamination of the product. Internal dimensions 1185 x 600 x 655 mm. Outer construction made of cold rolled steel epoxy painted. Perforated worktop with easily removable panels and double internal extraction back wall stainless steel AISI 304 made with “Scotch Brite” finishing. The hood provides a Stainless steel tray for liquid recovery under the worktop. Frontal window is temperate glass made. The two motor-fans speed regulation for filters obstruction compensation and the regulation of down flow and exaust stream speed are fully automated. Acoustic and visual alarms provide a control for laminar flow and front air containment curtain speed (LAF speed) is not sufficient, filters obstruction, electrical motor fan(s) proper functioning and elapsed filters working time. tritec ® Gesellschaft für Labortechnik und Umweltsimulation mbH Hüttenstraße 9 D-30165 Hannover Homepage www.tritec-klima.com E-mail [email protected] Phone ++49-511/3523508 Fax ++49-511/3521715 technische Änderungen vorbehalten Seite 1 von 2 Biohazard vertical laminar flow hood BIOLAF 4 BIO ACTIVA CONTROL BOARD - Electronic board controlled by microprocessor. - ON/OFF general switch with key. - Soft-touch key board with antistatic protection (IP55) - Real time digital display reading (m/sec) of vertical laminar flow and air front containment curtain speed. - Key to control the security electro-valve for gas connection (if provided). - Emergency key to increase the exhaust air flow speed. - Electronic digital timer of general functioning. - Electronic digital timer of UV-C lamp (if provided). - Countdown time meter for UV-C lamp (if provided) programmable by the customer with automatic switch off. - Acoustic and visual alarm for: Front temperate glass window opened Filters clogging Improper working conditions of the electric motor fan.
