Do you want to be moved by art?
For the third time already Very Contemporary, the network of 14 musea in the Meuse-Rhine
Euregion, invites you to join the Contemporary-Art-Bustours to explore the euregional visual art
venues on the weekend of Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November 2015. The CAB takes you from art
spot to art spot across the border. Within these two days you have the possibility to discover the
rich variety of visual art institutions close to Maastricht; you will meet those who are working
behind the scene and learn about the current „state of art” in our Euregion.
The Contemporary-Art-Buses leave from every city of the Very Contemporary network, in Aachen
the CAB leaves from the parking behind the Ludwig Forum.
On Saturday you will be welcomed at the Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht, and the CIAP and
Z33 in Hasselt. On Sunday you have the chance to visit the ikob in Eupen, Espace 251 Nord in Liège
and the Van Eyck and Marres in Maastricht before arriving back in Aachen.
Joining the CAB is for free, please be prepared that every institution handles their normal entrance
fee. In every CAB fifty places are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bereits zum dritten Mal lädt Very Contemporary, das Netzwerk von 14 Kultureinrichtungen in der
Euregio Maas-Rhein, Sie ein, um am Wochenende des 14. und 15. November mit dem
Contemporary-Art-Bus gratis die verschiedenen Institutionen für zeitgenössische Kunst in der
Euregion zu besuchen! Die CAB's bringen Sie unter Begleitung eines erfahrenen Kunsthistorikers
von Ort zu Ort, über alle Grenzen hinweg. Innerhalb der zwei Tage haben Sie so die Möglichkeit,
die Vielfalt der bildenden Kunstinstitutionen rundum Ihre Heimatstadt zu entdecken; Sie werden
diejenigen kennenlernen, die hinter den Kulissen arbeiten und mehr über den aktuellen „state of
art“ in unserer Euregion erfahren.
Die Contemporary-Art-Busse fahren von jeder Stadt des Very Contemporary Netzwerkes los, In
Aachen startet der Bus vom Parkplatz des Ludwig Forums. Am Samstag besuchen Sie das
Bonnefantenmuseum in Maastricht und das CIAP und Z33 in Hasselt. Am Sonntag werden Sie im
ikob in Eupen, im Espace 251 Nord in Liège und der Van Eyck und dem Marres in Maastricht
willkommen geheissen, bevor der Bus wieder in Aachen ankommt.
Der Contemporary–Art–Bus und die Führungen sind kostenlos.
In den einzelnen Museen und Institutionen fallen Eintrittsgelder an. In jedem Bus stehen 50 Plätze
nach einem 'first-come, first-served Prinzip' zur Verfügung.
