How to reach the Memorial da América Latina
 From Guarulhos International Airport
For those who are coming from Guarulhos International Airport, the best option is the Airport
Bus Service, which provides bus routes to the subway stations: Republic Square, Barra Funda
and Tatuapé (Red Line). Schedules can be found at http://www.emtu.sp.gov.br/emtu/redesde-transporte/corredores-terminais/linhas-intermunicipais/airport-service.fss.
Note that this shuttle service (Airport Bus Service) is provided in two ways:

The cheapest-operated buses linking the airport and the Metro Station Tatuapé (line
257), and from Metro Tatuapé you have to:
1)Take the blue line towards Tucuruvi;
2)Get off at Estação Sé, which is the 10th stop;
3)Take the red line towards Palmeiras Barra Funda, and get off at the final stop.
4)From Terminal Barra Funda follow the signs to the exit which is called Memorial da América
Latina. (see the picture below)

Special bus, connecting one terminal to Congonhas Airport, Square Republic, Circuit
Hotels, Tietê Bus Terminal, Shopping Eldorado and Terminal Barra Funda bus terminal.
Terminal Barra Funda is the most convenient terminal for the participants of the
Symposium. From Terminal Barra Funda follow the signs to the exit which is called
Memorial da América Latina. (see the picture below)

 From Congonhas Airport
For those who are coming from Congonhas Airport, there are three options to reach the
Memorial da America Latina:
Option 1
The most convenient way to reach the Memorial da América Latina is by taxi.
The address of Memorial da América Latina is: Avenida Auro Soares de Moura Andrade, 664 Barra Funda Sao Paulo. The event will take place at the auditorium of the Secretaria de
Estado dos Direitos da Pessoa com Deficiência.
Option 2
1) Take taxi to Metro São Judas:
2)From Metro São Judas take blue line towards Tucuruvi;
3)Get off at Estação Sé, which is the 10th stop;
4)Take the red line towards Palmeiras- Barra Funda, and get off at the final stop.
5)Follow the signs to the exit which is called Memorial da América Latina. The event will take
place at the auditorium of the Secretaria de Estado dos Direitos da Pessoa com Deficiência.

Alternatively, you can come by bus and subway, which is the cheapest option.
1)From Avenida Washington Luiz Avenue (where the Congonhas Airport is located)
2)Take the lines 675I-10 or 5630-10 JUDAS METRO METRO SAO BRAS.
3) Get off at Metro São Judas;
4)From Metro São Judas take blue line towards Tucuruvi;
5)Get off at Estação Sé, which is the 10th stop;
6)Take the red line towards Palmeiras- Barra Funda, and get off at the final stop.
7)Follow the signs to the exit which is called Memorial da América Latina. The event will take
place at the auditorium of the Secretaria de Estado dos Direitos da Pessoa com Deficiência.

 From different place of origin
The access to the event can be done by different routes, depending on the place of origin. It is
easy to reach the Memorial da América Latina by public transportation (subway or bus). Bus is
not the best option to use in case you are not familiar with the bus lines in São Paulo.
However, in case you prefer to use the bus service in São Paulo, we suggest you to do a prior
research at http://www.sptrans.com.br. Once you are at Terminal Barra-Funda, follow the
signs to the exit which is called Memorial da América Latina.
If you choose subway, remember that the Memorial da América Latina is located at the end of
the Red Line 3, Palmeiras-Barra Funda, this is the main point of reference. You can get your
