We build steel tube towers – delivering sections with differing
lengths according to requirements, up to a maximum of
35 metres. Our finished products are fully equipped and ready
for assembly – including platforms, access fixtures and electric

Our company “Chemie- und Tankanlagenbau REUTHER GmbH” proves that tradition and modernity complement
each other perfectly: Since the Berlin-based industrial pioneer Julius Pintsch laid the foundation stones for gas
regulation and lighting technology in 1872, the company has experienced some turbulent times, repositioned itself
and successfully made its mark on the market. Even today we still feel particularly committed to traditional values
such as quality, reliability and precision. Combining these with modern materials, innovative production technologies
and the first-class expertise of our 180 employees, we now rank amongst the leading companies in the tank and
apparatus construction sector. We regard ourselves as full service providers and suppliers, ensuring support and
assistance from the in-depth consultancy and conception phases to production, finishing and installation, right

INDUSTRIES & PRODUCTS
“Horizontal, cylindrical, double-walled steel
tanks on saddle supports with connective lower
pipes” is how the German Institute of Structural
Engineering (DIBt) refers to this tank unit in its
technical inspection permit. The principle is just
as simple as it is effective – all the tanks have the
same level of liquid due to the lower connection
with double-walled pipes.
The two pneumatic valves always open and
close simultaneously. They form a closed system
with the connective pipes that is permanently
monitored for leaks.
The principle behind the lower outlet reduces
construction costs in the long term. There is no
longer any need to install a leak tub. Maintenance costs, e.g. for pumps, and downtimes for
repairs can be completely avoided, or at least
significantly reduced.

Treated surfaces for

REUTHER has a diverse range of competences to offer in the treatment of surfaces. We manufacture very finely
blasted and polished surfaces, such as those required by the biotechnology sector. We also practice a wide variety
of coating methods that are applied on a daily basis in four different coating facilities. Surface finishes serve amongst
other things as protection against corrosion, thereby contributing greatly to the utility value and durability of our
products. Over the course of the decades we have become particularly specialised in the construction of underground
tanks – much to the benefit of our customers.

Maximum quality standards
throughout the production process
Quality does not come about by accident. Rather, it is the result of the high standards we impose on our work.
Before a product leaves our plant, it undergoes various quality assurance measures that accompany the entire
production process at REUTHER. Our quality assurance often goes far beyond the standard testing procedures
stipulated. Our quality management also keeps a close eye on those aspects of the process that are not specified
in any regulation but are nevertheless important. This allows us to correct even the tiniest irregularity with immediate
effect, before it has a chance to become problematic. Our quality management starts right at the offer phase and
continues through to the punctual final delivery. Those who place high standards on themselves can also demand the
same standards from others. That’s why all our suppliers are equally committed to achieving these goals, and fulfil
the criteria as per DIN EN ISO 9001:2008. All testing at REUTHER is carried out both by our internal quality assurance
department and by independent inspection authorities, using the very latest calibrated measuring devices.

products. We offer you an all-round service that starts with an initial consultation and incorporates everything from
the production and assembly right through to maintenance work. We will gladly coordinate the entire process for
you from the scheduling and final inspection through to annual testing, other safety procedures and handover
of the unit ready for operation, including technical records of all project phases. It also goes without saying that we
are a competent and reliable partner when it comes to the maintenance and repair of your system.
