Properties and fields
of use:
Liocryl XAM 2867 is particularly suitable for thermosetting coatings. Drying above the minimum
film-forming temperature leaves a clear, colourless film. In order to obtain complete
crosslinkage, additional heat treatment is required. The drying process must guarantee
adequate crosslinkage of the polymer, i. e. after evaporation of the water, the material must
reach a temperature between 130 and 160 °C for a short period.
Storage:
The emulsion is preserved for storage and contains no alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APEO’s).
The emulsion should be stored in tightly closed, corrosion-resistant containers, protected from
frost and away from direct sunlight, at +5 to +25°C.
