Castrol Obeen PL 2™
Physiologically Harmless High Pressure Grease
DESCRIPTION
Castrol Obeen PL 2 is a fully synthetic, physiologically harmless special grease for extreme
requirements. The highly viscous basic oil contains wear-protection additives and solid
lubricants in a synergetically effective combination.
This ensures high wear protection even at low peripheral speeds. It corresponds to NSF
(NSF) H1.

For lubricating highly stressed koller bearing in pelleting presses
Friction and roller bearings in screw drying conveyor
Lubricating cellular wheel sluice
Lubricating points with technically unavoidable contact with food
Temperature range: - 35°C to + 160°C (for short periods above + 200°C)

When changing over, miscibility with the previous grease should be investigated, taking
account of the application case.
Grease replacement by relubricating is usually possible.
Mixing with non physiologically harmless greases means loss of food safety.
