Let us come together to ask ourselves and seek God's Face concerning the Question: "What does
modern slave trade and human (sex) trafficking have to do with us the Church? And what does God
want from us?"

This idea of a 'get-to-gather' (my term - a time where we get to gather, an opportunity), is
about gathering for awareness regarding one of the most critical areas of sin and injustice on
our earth and for joining in prayer, which is the FIRST (but not only) step. The goal will be to
pray effectively and then act accordingly; but first we must gather before the Lord, the
Creator, who created people for Himself, to be broken by the things that break His heart, to
seek His face and to repent (even in identification) - so as to then fulfill II Chronicles 7:14.
Wir wollen zusammenkommen, um uns mit einem der größten Bereiche von Sünde und
Ungerechtigkeit in unserer Welt zu beschäftigen und uns als ersten Schritt ins Gebet begeben.
Unser Ziel ist es, vor den Herrn zu treten, Buße zu tun, unser Herz für das brechen lassen,
was das Seine bricht und sein Angesicht zu suchen (2. Chronik 7:14).
But for many of us it is important to be made aware of and be confronted by what is really
taking place in our society, in the nations of our world. Here is something that is often very
hidden, easily missed but often just a doorstep away. It can however, be something very
obvious if we have the eyes to see it, and have a heart willing to be confronted by what we
might see. Let us join together to discern the silent cry in the eyes of those enslaved and
misused, the ones trapped in grave injustice and suffering.
Wir müssen uns bewusst machen, was wirklich in unserer Gesellschaft passiert.
Menschenhandel geschieht oft versteckt, ist aber nicht weit weg. Lasst und
zusammenkommen, um unsere Herzen vom stummen Schrei der Versklavten bewegen zu
lassen und unsere Augen für diese Ungerechtigkeit zu öffnen.
All form of slavery, as we see from the verses in Revelation seem to be motivated by
commercial interests, greed and the love of money. But it is also coming from a well of the
disregard of God-given human dignity and worth and disregard for natural boundries (even
of property if you will, as humans are His creation!). It involves the making an object out of a
person, making them into a means of self-gratification - something our Heavenly Father never
intended. It involves what is found in a word in Hebrew and translated "Transgression", the
word Pasha; meaning "Mouth and eyes that devour or destroy - covetousness". This coveting is
the driving motor for the sin of enslavement in our world, the sin behind idolatry, the sin which
brings misuse, abuse, and so on. We can only begin by being willing to repent of it in all its
forms.
In der Offenbarung wird gezeigt, dass alle Formen von Sklaverei aus wirtschaftlichen Motiven,
Geiz und Liebe zum Geld und einer Missachtung der Gott-gegebenen Würde des Menschen
gespeist werden. Sklaverei bedeutet, eine Person zu einem Objekt zu machen, um die eigenen
Bedürfnisse zu befriedigen. Dahinter steht Begierde, eine Einstellung, die im hebräischen Wort
pasha (Übertretung) enthalten ist und die Gott für diese Welt nicht gewollt hat.
Our world is all about trade, about what is profitable. The most important question in our society
now seems to be - who profits, and what are the most profitable trading transactions? Today the sex
industry with human trafficking, the world of pimps and traffickers is one of the most profitable
areas; not to meintion the selling of slaves (as sex slaves) which happens currently in Islam related
places or situations - but not only found there as motivated by dire poverty.
We will deal with the forms of human trafficking, especially related to prostitution and
specifically orientated to the country of Germany and surrounding countries with connecting
borders like the Czech Republic. We will pray into things like the current laws, into the
deceptiveness surrounding so much of what is attached to this problem in Germany. We may be
confronted with a situation ripe for judgement.
Wir werden uns speziell mit Prostitution als einer Form des Menschenhandels in Deutschland
und angrenzenden Ländern beschäftigen. Wir werden für die momentane Gesetzeslage und
die Unwissenheit, die dieses Thema umgibt, beten.
Important is not statistical facts but real-life portraits and discerning the Heart of the Father
in this. We need to seek God together, but also have time alone, even in the night where He
might speak to us. Thus we have an evening and the next day, so that He might even give us
dreams, visions in the night, and revelation by day - to show us His heart and even receive His
strategy for action.
Dabei sind uns keine statistischen Fakten, sondern die Lebensgeschichten der Menschen
wichtig. Zusammen wollen wir am Tag und während der Nacht Gott suchen und in bitten, uns
sogar in Träumen sein Herz und seine Pläne für dieses Thema zu zeigen.
ONLY God can bring about change - only He can change us first? The question is: Are we
willing or are we complacent or just sleeping ? Where are the people like those in the book of
Judges? Where are the willing ones like those who followed Deborah and Barak, (Judges 5:12,9,31)? And God doesn't even need thousands, only the 300, like in the day of Gideon,
(Judges 7:2-4...).
Nur Gott kann Veränderung bewirken und als allererstes uns verändern. Sind wir dazu
bereit? Wie die Geschichte Gideons zeigt, kann Gott schon wenige Menschen mit willigen
Herzen zu Großem gebrauchen.
