Hardness Range: 65 - 75 IRHD
Trelleborg Dowty Malta material reference 2439 is an ethylene propylene (EPDM) based compound
designed for low temperature application.
2439 should not be used in contact with mineral based oils, lubricants or hydrocarbon fuels.
Compound Key Properties include:
- Excellent low temperature flexibility.
- Low compression set.
- Good heat resistance.
- Good resistance to hot water and steam.
- Good resistance to water/ antifreeze mixtures.
- Good resistance to ozone and weathering.

Projected service temperature range of -55 to +140°C that is dependent upon
medium to be sealed and conditions of service.
Possible Applications:
- Electrical Transformers.
- Water fittings.
