For a project funded by ONCOTYROL Center for Personalized Cancer Medicine, we are
seeking for a highly motivated PhD student. This position is available for the duration of 3 years.
The applicant must have the following essential skills:
•
Master degree in computer science, bioinformatics, biostatistics or physics
•
Strong database knowledge and programming skills in R/python/Java/C preferably in
a Linux environment.
Knowledge in medical documentation, radiotheorapy and tumor biology is desired but not
absolutely required.
Moreover, good communication- and English skills are also necessary. Fluency in German is
also desirable. The ideal candidate would enjoy working in a multidisciplinary environment.
