Zum dritten Mal präsentiert sich die Gumpert Sportwagenmanufaktur in wenigen Tagen auf dem Internationalen
Automobil-Salon Genf. Vom 06. bis 16. März 2008 werden zwei nagelneue schwarze apollo auf 150 Quadratmetern für
zahlreiche neugierige Blicke sorgen. Unser Partner auf dem diesjährigen Salon und dem Messestand ist der
Kleinserienhersteller YES. Das sächsische Unternehmen wird ebenfalls mit zwei Modellen des Roadsters vertreten
sein.
Aufbau Vertriebsnetz weltweit in vollem Gang. Schweizer Vertriebspartner stellen sich in Genf vor.
Mit Start des neuen Jahres hat die Gumpert Sportwagenmanufaktur den weltweiten Vertrieb weiter verstärkt.
Neben dem offiziellen Vertriebspartner für U.K. sind drei weitere internationale Vertretungen dazugekommen.

Gründer und Geschäftsführer der Manufaktur, Roland Gumpert, schaut optimistisch in die Zukunft. „Das Interesse am
apollo ist sehr groß. Nicht nur im Ausland, sondern auch in Deutschland finden derzeit Gespräche statt. Wir werden in

in the Middle East. For the past three years the company has been specialising in luxury and sports cars. In addition to
Gumpert apollo, their portfolio includes the Dutch brand Spyker and the Chinese Tianma.
Roland Gumpert, founder and manager, takes an optimistic view of the future. "apollo enjoys a very strong interest.
Currently, talks are underway both in Germany and abroad. This year we are planning on establishing at least three

Die Gumpert Sportwagenmanufaktur GmbH ist Hersteller exklusiver Sportwagen mit Sitz in Altenburg / Thüringen.
Gründer und Geschäftsführer ist der frühere Leiter der Audi Sport Abteilung, Roland Gumpert, unter dessen Führung
die Ingolstädter Quattros 25 Siege bei Weltmeisterschaftsläufen und den Gewinn von 4 Rallye-Weltmeisterschaftstiteln
erreichen konnten.
Der apollo ist ein reinrassiger Hochleistungssportwagen mit Rennperformance und Straßenzulassung. Er bietet
überragende Fahrleistungen jenseits normaler Vorstellungskraft: 650 PS, bis zu 360 km/h Höchstgeschwindigkeit und
eine Beschleunigung von 0 auf 100 km/h in nur 3,0 Sekunden. Dabei ist jedes dieser Fahrzeuge ein Unikat, das
individuell auf die Wünsche und Bedürfnisse seines Besitzers abgestimmt wird. Der apollo garantiert maximalen
Fahrspaß bei höchster Sicherheit.
Die Preise für den apollo mit 4,2L Biturbo-Motor beginnen bei 260.000 EUR netto.
Seit 2005 wurden in der Manufaktur 31 apollo gefertigt. Für 2008 ist eine Jahresproduktion von 40 Fahrzeugen
geplant.

The Gumpert Sportwagenmanufaktur GmbH is a manufacturer of exclusive super sports cars based in Altenburg /
Thuringia (former GDR area) – close to the City of Leipzig.
The Managing Director is Roland Gumpert. Mr. Gumpert previously worked for AUDI for over 30 years and held –
amongst other high positions – the position of Director of AUDI Sport. Under his management, AUDI won a total of 25
World Rally Championship races and 4 World Rally Championship titles.
The apollo is a pure uncompromising, street-legal super sports car with extraordinary racing-performance. It provides
superior driving abilities beyond all imagination: up to 224 mph (360 km/h) maximum speed and a breathtaking
acceleration from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3 seconds. Thereby every car is a unique masterpiece; individually
customized to the wishes and desires. Thus it bears the personal touch of its owner. The apollo offers unlimited fun on
the road and serious competition in motor sports. A bolide setting benchmarks.
The basic price of the apollo with its V8 4.2 l Twin-Turbo engine - generating 650 BHP - is 260.000 EUR excl. of VAT.
Since May 2005 there have been produced 31 apollo. In 2008 an annual production up to 40 cars is planned.
