Em junho de 2009, a Love & Art
Children’s Foundation iniciou uma
oficina de arte com 25 crianças e
adolescentes em Jataí, Goiás, Brasil que
foi concluída em 2011.
A coleção Pirlimpimpim é uma
celebração à infância brasileira e
convida a entrar e trilhar o universo
onírico e ao mesmo tempo realista do
imaginário e expressividade infantil.
O nome Pirlimpimpim tem seu
fundamento na analogia entre o pó de
pirlimpimpim, que tinha o poder de
transportar a qualquer ponto do espaço
e a qualquer momento do tempo as
personagens de Monteiro Lobato, no
Sítio do Pica Pau Amarelo, com a ação
mágica e transformadora da arte,
rompendo com os limites da imaginação
entre o clássico e o contemporâneo.
Os jovens artistas utilizaram fragmentos
de organismos vivos retirados do
próprio local de criação como: terra
vegetal, chifres de vaca, cabaça, pedras
orgânicas, cipós, sementes, troncos e
cascas de árvores que foram
incorporados às obras de modo que a
natureza tornou-se um agente ativo na
arte que se expõe com seus volumes.
Dão formas a relevos, espessuras,
construindo sobreposições, criando
novas dimensões e avançam em direção
ao olhar e ao toque do expectador.
A mostra resulta em um trabalho único,
que educa, desperta e aguça nas
crianças e adolescentes, o interesse e o
gosto pela arte.
Como disse Monteiro Lobato, “Nada de
imitar seja lá quem for... Temos de ser
nós mesmos... Ser núcleo de cometa,
não cauda. Puxar fila, não seguir.”

In June 2009, Love & Art Children’s
Foundation began an art workshop
with 25 children ages 3 to 17, in Jataí,
Goiás, Brasil that was completed in
2011.
The Pirlimpimpim art collection is a
celebration of the Brasilian childhood
and an invitation to walk and travel
into a magical world, with both
dreamlike and realistic imagery as
seen through a child’s eyes.
The collection’s name, taken from the
stories of Br asilian author Monteiro
Lobato who created a fantasy world
where pixie dust had the power to
transport
characters
anywhere
throughout time and space, is an
analogy to art, which has the same
transformative powers of expanding
the boundaries of one’s imagination.
The young artists used organic
fragments taken from the earth such as
topsoil, cow horns, gourds, crystals,
stones, vines, seeds, stems and tree
bark that were incorporated into the
artworks so that nature became an
active agent in the creation of the
collection. Dimension, lively texture,
overlays create forward movement to
reach out to the observer.
The show results in a unique work that
educates, awakens and sharpens young
people’s interest in art. As Monteiro
Lobato said, "Never imitate anyone...
We must be ourselves... Be the comet,
not its tail. L ead, do not follow.”
A Love & Art Children’s Foundation
foi fundada em 2003 pela artista
Brasileira Alécia de Menezes Seidler
em Los Angeles, Califórnia, e
nasceu do desejo de levar e oferecer
às crianças carentes, através da arte,
uma forma de expressão, cura e
esperança.
A fundação desenvolve um programa
de oficina de arte único e exclusivo
para grupos de crianças e
adolescentes. Trabalhando sob a
direção individual de artistas, cada
criança tem a oportunidade de criar
sua obra de arte. Atenção e carinho
ajudam as crianças a se abrirem e
usarem sua imaginação e talento. As
coleções de arte resultantes são um
testemunho vibrante do arrojamento
e espírito de criatividade dos jovens
artistas.
Para compartilhar a beleza e o poder
da arte criada pelas crianças, a Love
& Art organiza exposições em torno
de suas criações e histórias, dando aos
pequenos artistas a oportunidade de
se sentirem valorizados e de
receberem o reconhecimento por
seus esforços e realizações.

Founded in 2003 by Brasilian artist

Angeles, California, the Love & Art
Children’s Foundation was born out
of the desire to reach out to children
in need and to offer them, through
the arts, a way of expression,
empowerment and hope.
The foundation brings its unique
art workshop program to groups of
children. Working with an artist,
each child has the opportunity to
create a large scale, mixed media
work of art. Attention and care help
the children open up and use their
vivid imaginations. The resulting art
collections are a vibrant testament to
the spirit of creativity and youth.
To share the beauty and power of
the children's art, Love & Art
organizes exhibitions around their
creations and their stories. Through
the exhibitions these young artists
receive recognition for their
accomplishments.

Arte, um centro de arte educacional e esportivo para crianças em Jataí,
Goiás, Brasil.
A Casa da Criança Amor & Arte fornece, acima de tudo, amor e cuidados
e é um porto seguro para as crianças, oferecendo atividades educacionais e
artísticas como ferramentas para o crescimento, fortalecimento e
desenvolvimento pessoal.
A Casa da Criança atende 200 crianças por dia que estão matriculadas na
rede pública estadual ou municipal, de baixa renda, e vulnerabilidade
social, assegurando proteção e proporcionando oportunidades para o
desenvolvimento integral da criança e do adolescente.
Oferece uma programação diária que inclui oficinas de arte, fotografia,
teatro, música, biblioteca com oficinas de leitura e escrita, jardinagem,
nutricão, horta e culinária orgânica, esportes, inclusão digital e promoção
humana e social.
A casa se encontra em um terreno de 3,910 m2, em ampla área verde,
árvores frutíferas e espaço para o desenvolvimento de projetos de
sustentabilidade. A presença e fácil acessibilidade à Casa da Criança exerce
um impacto significativo em toda a comunidade.
A Casa da Criança Amor & Arte é administrada pela Associação Amor &
Arte, uma associação brasileira sem fins lucrativos.

The Love & Art Children’s Foundation has built Casa da Criança Amor &
Arte, a children's art, educational and sports community center in Jataí,
Goiás, Brasil.
Casa da Criança Amor & Arte provides, above all, love, care and a safe
haven for children with an emphasis on the arts and healthy educational
activities as tools for growth, self-discovery and empowerment.
The children's house serves 200 underprivileged and at-risk children a day
providing them the opportunity to be creative and to learn the skills to be
productive members of society.
Daily enrichment programs include art workshops, photography, theatre,
music, a library with reading and writing workshops, nutrition, organic
gardening and cooking, computers and sports including swimming, soccer
and martial arts.
The children’s house is on 3,910 square meters of land that has several fruit
trees and space for sustainability projects. Located in a neighborhood
accessible for at-risk and underserved youth, the presence of Casa da
Criança Amor & Arte has a meaningful impact on the entire community.
Casa da Criança Amor & Arte is managed locally by Associação Amor &
Arte, a Brasilian based non-profit organization.
Our goal is to minimize social exclusion and improve the lives of the more
vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the community. The foundation
seeks like-minded people and organizations to join us on future projects we
envision throughout Brasil. By working together, we believe that our power
to effect change is greater.

Eu sinto que nunca deixei o mundo
imaginário em que encontrava
inspiração quando eu era criança. Ele
foi alimentado pelas imagens das
esculturas de Rodin, pinturas e cores a
partir de antigos mestres europeus,
que eu gostava de colecionar. Eu
estava, constantemente, desenhando
e sonhando. Eu sou o mesmo hoje, na
verdade eu só tenho mais referências e
fontes de inspiração, assim como mais
conhecimento e acesso para executar e
concretizar minhas visões.
Eu sou um defensor e creio muitíssimo
na importância da educação artística
para o crescimento saudável da mente.
Com isso, sinto-me honrado e satisfeito
por poder contribuir para a plataforma
educativa da Love & Art Children’s
Foundation no Brasil. É ótimo saber
que a minha expressão artística pode
ser parte do ambiente educativo da
Casa da Criança Amor & Arte, e que
pode inspirar os alunos e ajudá-los a
sentir que o céu é o limite.
Minha escultura é uma ponte entre a
visão criativa e de execução técnica, e,
metaforicamente, significa ‘unir o chão
com o céu’ como uma escada aberta.
Eu espero inspirar as crianças e seus
sonhos.

interdisciplinar especializada em
projetos de design inovadores. Sua
abordagem ao design tem mostrado
amplitude e profundidade através da
realização de projetos variados em
escalas e natureza. Seu portfólio
engloba design de produtos, projetos de
arquitetura, consultoria de inovação,
identidade de marca, design de
interiores e direção de arte.
I feel like I never left the imaginary
world in which I would find inspiration
when I was a child. It was fed by
images of Rodin’s sculpture, paintings
and colors from old European masters
that I would find and collect. I was
constantly drawing and dreaming. I
am the same today actually. I only have
more references and sources of
inspiration, as well as more knowledge
and access to execute and materialize
my visions.
I am an advocate and a true believer
of the importance of artistic
education for the healthy growth of
one’s mind. For this, I am honored
and pleased to be able to contribute
to the Love & Art Children’s
Foundation educative platform in
Brazil. It feels great to know that my
artistic expression can be part of the
educational environment of Casa da
Criança Amor & Arte, and that it
may inspire the students and help
them feel that the sky is the limit.
My sculpture is a bridge between
creative vision and technical execution,
and metaphorically it means to bridge
the ground to the sky as an open
stairway. I wish to inspire children’s
creativity and dreams with it.

Nasci pintor, mas como nunca peguei nos
pincéis a sério, arranjei, sem nenhuma
premeditação, este derivativo de literatura,
e nada mais tenho feito senão pintar com
palavras.
In truth I am not literate, I am a painter.
I was born a painter, but as I never
touched the brushes seriously, I managed

Tudo começou quando minha
professora na escola pediu que
fizéssemos um desenho que
representasse o folclore brasileiro.
Eu escolhi o bumba meu boi porque
achei interessante e legal. Me
dediquei muito e tentei fazer os traços
mais bonitos e originais possíveis.
Depois foi só colorir. Usei cores vivas
e vibrantes. Achei que colori muito
bem. Fiz de tudo para não sair fora
do contorno do desenho.
Um dia recebi uma notícia
maravilhosa. Eu fui convidado para
pintar um quadro. A professora
marcou os dias para me buscar. Achei
muito difícil porque na folha desenhei
pequeno e para passar para o quadro
tinha que ser grande. Mas muito fácil
foi na hora do contorno porque logo
peguei a prática e usei algumas cores
diferentes, mas com a mesma técnica
do desenho que fiz na folha.
Adorei pintar esse tema do folclore
brasileiro. Adoro desenhar e pintar.
Agora que recebi esta honra de pintar
vou me inspirar mais ainda.
It all started when my school teacher
asked us to do a drawing that
represents the Brazilian folklore. I
chose Bumba meu boi because I
thought it was very interesting and
cool. I really dedicated myself and
tried to make the strokes the most
beautiful and original as possible.
Then it was just coloring. I used
bright, vibrant colors. I thought I
colored very well. I did everything not
to go outside the lines.
One day I received wonderful news. I
was invited to paint a picture. The
teacher set up the day to pick me up.
I found it very difficult because the
drawing I did on the paper was so
small and to recreate it on the canvas
it had to be big. But very easy it was
to outline it because I got it very fast
I used some different colors, but with
the same technique I did on the
drawing.
I loved painting this theme of
Brazilian folklore. I love to draw and
paint. Now that I have received this
honor, I will be even more inspired.

O menino foi no laboratório e foi
picado por uma aranha venenosa
e aí ele ganhou super poderes de
escalar paredes e sair pulando
nos prédios e sair soltando teias
de aranha. E ele saiu assim de
casa até na escola.
Eu pintei um quadro muito
grande do meu desenho de
aranha, gostei muito de pintar.
É muito legal.

out of buildings and dropping
cobwebs. And so he went from
home to school.
I painted a big picture of my
drawing, a very large spider and
enjoyed painting.

Bem, meu nome é Diego e tenho
11 anos. Foi muito bom ir na casa
da professora Sílvia que é muito
legal. Mas o bom mesmo foi
pintar uma onça que se chama
Dudu.
Demorou muitos dias; quase um mês.
Êta trem difícil né pessoal !
E também foi legal estar pintando
tão longe de casa. Durante esse
tempo foi só correria.
Era daqui e dali: Eu quero essa tinta.
Não quero a outra. Hei, acabou o
meu amarelo. Já vou por mais. E a
gente acaba todo manchado de tinta.
Mas valeu a pena.
Minha onça ficou bem legal.

Well, my name is Diego and I'm
11 years old. It was great to go to
teacher Silvia’s house, which is
pretty cool. But the really cool
thing was to paint a leopard
called Dudu.
It took many days, almost a month.
Holy moly, isn’t this hard, guys!
It was also nice to be painting so
far from home. During that time
it was just run, run, run.
It was from here and there: I
want the paint, I do not want
another. Hey, I’m out of yellow.
I’m already adding more. And
we end up covered in paint, but it
was worth it.

I did a tribute to nature with my
painting.

Esse quadro foi produzido por uma
garota que acredita em um futuro
grandioso, de grandes realizações, em
que nada no mundo fará com que ela
desista dos seus sonhos.
A arte não é simplesmente um traço de
tinta em uma tela branca, esse traço
carrega consigo uma história a qual
encanta e conquista aqueles que a
conhecem.
No quadro há detalhes simples e
delicados que leva as pessoas a pensar o
que realmente ele quer demonstrar, em
que sentido foi realizado, todos pensamos
diferentes... e vemos de outra forma a
mesma coisa.
A pintura demonstra algo que é tirado do
mais profundo do meu ser, carregando
em cada pincelada um pouco dos meus
sentimentos...
Tristeza, angústia, harmonia, felicidade,
rancor, determinação, ansiedade, paz e
amor, e muitas outras. Há uma
garotinha sentada, em sua volta há
livros... acreditando que só estudando
poderemos ter um futuro melhor.
De certa forma, procuramos acreditar
nos sonhos, que tudo será possível um
dia, é nisso que acreditei, e conquistei um

but it carries with itself a history that
enchants and conquers those who

There are simple and delicate details
that leads people to think what it really
wants to show in what sense was done,
we all think differently... and we see
differently the same thing.
The painting shows something that is
taken from the depths of my being,
carrying on each stroke a little bit of my
feelings...
Sadness, anxiety, harmony, happiness,
anger, determination, rancor, peace and
love, and many others. There is a little
girl sitting, surrounding her there are
books... believing that only studying we
can have a better future.
In a way, we believe in dreams, that
everything will be possible one day, I
believed that, and I conquered a big
dream. Brush strokes, colors, feelings,
deep desires.

Foi muito bom ter passado um tempo
fazendo o que tanto queria na minha
vida toda, uma vontade de me descobrir
por traz dos desenhos. Obrigada pela

something that I so wanted to do my
entire life, a desire to find myself

Um passarinho que voava por ali
deixou uma sementinha cair. E essa
semente ali brotou, porque choveu e
nasceu um lindo pé de acerola.
Um dia um índio viu este pé de
acerola e esperou ele dar frutos.
Demorou alguns meses pra que desse
fruto. Em um belo dia, o índio estava
passeando perto do pé de acerola e
viu lindas frutinhas vermelhas.
Achou muito interessante e foi logo
correndo chamar sua irmã índia.
Vamos irmã! Tem fruta nova no
cerrado! Corre vamos experimentar
essas frutinhas vermelhas. Eles
experimentaram e acharam muito
gostosas. Um sabor que nem uma
fruta do cerrado tinha. Eles ficaram
ali saboreando aquela fruta, olhando
o lindo pôr do sol.
Em seguida, pegaram a semente da
fruta e plantaram mais, porque pra
eles era a fruta mais gostosa.
Os irmãos índios viveram felizes com
a colheita da acerola.
Muito obrigado pela oportunidade
em pintar minha tela.
A bird flying over dropped a seed.
And that seed sprouted there
because it rained and there was
born a beautiful acerola tree.
One day an Indian saw the acerola
tree and waited for it to bear fruit.
It took several months for the fruit
to come. One fine day, the Indian
was walking near the foot of the
acerola tree and saw beautiful red
berries. He thought it was amazing
and went running to call his Indian
sister.
Let's go sister! There is new fruit in
the savannah! Run let's try these
little red berries. They tried it and
found it very tasty. A flavor that no
other fruit from the savannah had.
They stood there savouring the fruit,
watching the beautiful sunset.
Then they took the seeds and
planted them, because for them it
was the most delicious fruit. The
Indian brothers lived happily with
the acerola harvest.

Oi! Meu nome é Patrícia e tenho
14 anos.
A minha experiência foi muito legal
porque em toda a minha vida eu
nunca tinha pintado um quadro.
Eu pintei a Emília porque foi em
homenagem ao nome da coleção de
arte Pirlimpimpim. Foi uma
experiência muito interessante... e
o que eu mais gostei de pintar foi o

desenhar no papel é uma coisa e
na tela é outra. No começo é
difícil mas depois você acostuma.
É uma experiência e tanto para
quem nunca pintou um quadro.
Eu achei muito legal e tive medo
quando eu comecei na tela, mas
depois passou o medo.

My experience was really cool
because all my life I had never
painted a picture. I painted Emília
in honor of the name of the
Pirlimpimpim art collection. It was
a very interesting experience and
what I liked most was painting her
face.
In a bit of what I experienced...
was that to draw on paper is one
thing and on a canvas is another.
In the beginning it is difficult but
after you get used to it. It’s an
incredible experience for someone
that never painted before. I
thought it was pretty cool, I was
afraid when I started on the canvas
but then my fear went away.

Eu comecei a pintar esses quadros
como se fosse de brincadeira.
Primeiro pintei o fundo misturando
várias cores de tinta com o pincel.
Usei o vermelho, preto e verde
formando uma cor diferente e com
textura.
Quando comecei a pintar achei
que estava ficando feio, então colei
pequenos quadrinhos nele e ficou
legal!
Fui acrescentando mais objetos e
ficou cheio de colagem, depois fiz o
segundo quadro. Gosto deles, porque
ficaram bem malucos e é isso que
mais gostei nos meus quadros, depois
disso pus o nome de “Crepúsculo”.
Para mim a arte é uma coisa que vem
do nosso coração, quando você a faz,
se sente em outro mundo e foi assim
que me senti.
Pintar todos esses quadros foi uma
grande aventura para todos nós!

I started painting these pictures as
if I was just playing.
First I painted the background
mixing various colors of paint with
a brush. I used red, black and
green forming a different color and
texture.
When I started painting I thought
it was getting ugly, so I glued mini
canvases on it and that was cool!
I kept adding more objects and it
became a collage. I like them
because they became pretty crazy.
After that I named it “Crepúsculo.”
For me art is something that comes
from our heart, when you do it,
you feel like you’re in another
world and that's how I felt when I
painted these.
Painting these canvases was a great
adventure for all of us!

tem muito preconceito com as
outras pessoas que não tem pernas
ou só tem uma, que não tem
braços ou que só tem um.
Foi muito bom ter pintado “O Saci”.
Eu tive muito carinho e dedicação
para fazer esse quadro. Quem sabe
um dia serei um pintor profissional!

I really liked doing "O Saci". I had

he came out very handsome. I think

uma semana me deixou muito

No começo tive medo de expressar

traçamos. A arte abre as portas do
coração sem deixar limites para a
criatividade.
“Faces” representa os sentimentos,
que podem ser: de alegria, raiva,
tristeza, de felicidade, etc. As faces
representam o que somos, o que
fazemos e o que sentimos. A alegria
é demonstrada por carinho, afeto e
felicidade.
Não importa o que fazemos, o que
sentimos; as nossas faces sempre
serão obras de arte feitas pelas
mãos de Deus.

The experience of being an artist
for a week made me very happy,
to know that to be an artist I did
not need a super knowledge.
At first I was afraid to express
what I felt, but through the art
people's feelings are being
expressed in every line we draw.

They’re like knights guarding a
castle. I love bright colors, but
what I love the most is the glitter I
used to make the planet.
It’s fun to think about flying like
angels...
In the painting they live out in space,
I wish to go there sometime...
Sunny and Moony are their names.

Eu fiz esta pintura pensando em um
desenho chamado “Naruto.”
Então coloquei algumas coisas...
pensando em mudar tudo que
mostro no desenho.
Coloquei cobras, espadas, cavaleiros,
etc. Esse desenho foi uma inspiração
da arte da vida. Tentei fazer várias
coisas diferentes para mudar o seu
jeito, falando mais sobre guerras,
demonstrando seus olhos arroxeados,
mostro espadas, cobras, facas em sua
perna.
Gostei de ter feito o Shikamaru,
pois ele é um belo desenho de luta e
animação.
Tem pessoas que pensam que arte é
fazer qualquer coisa, mas não, arte
é a inspiração que vem de dentro de
você.

vê-las mais de perto, elas me
encantaram, pois são belas, e estão
por todo lado e resolvi pintá-las.
Suas cores não destacantes me
encantaram, pois são simples e
muito elegantes!
No cerrado encontramos muitas
delas repousando nos galhos de
nossas árvores típicas, mas a
imprudência dos homens com o
desmatamento acaba com o habitat
dessas lindas criaturas.
Precisamos mudar nossos atos, para
que as futuras gerações possam
continuar contemplando essas
lindas aves que retratei em minha
tela.

On this canvas I show one of the
most popular species of birds of
the Brazilian savannah, which are
the curicacas.
I wanted to portray them when I
went for a walk on the farm and I
could see them more closely, they
enchanted me, because they are
beautiful, and they are everywhere
and so I decided to paint them.
Their very faded colors enchanted
me, because they are simple and
very elegant!
In the savannah we find many of
them resting in the branches of our
typical trees, but the recklessness of
men with deforestation removes the
habitat of these beautiful creatures.
We need to change our actions, so

Eu achei legal pintar o meu quadro,
porque foi a primeira vez que eu
pintei em uma tela.
No começo eu achei que não iria
conseguir. Achei que pelo fato de
nunca ter pintado em uma tela,
seriam poucas as minhas chances,
mas quando eu comecei a pintar vi
que estava me preocupando à toa.
Pintar não é nem um segredo é
apenas um jeito de colocar o que
tem dentro de você para fora e
mostrar ao mundo um pouco mais
de você.
Algumas pessoas acham que pintar
é super difícil, mas isso é porque
não tem confiança em si mesmas.
Antes de pintar também pensava
assim, mas pude ver que consigo e
que confiança é mais que um passo
para você ver que não é diferente
dos outros e que também pode
conseguir. Basta pensar positivo e
seguir em frente.
Eu pensei que ia dar tudo errado, que
eu só iria borrar a tela... e quando
I thought it was cool to paint my
picture because it was the first time
that I painted on a canvas.
At first I thought that I wouldn’t be
able to. I thought because I never
painted on a canvas my chances
would be little, but when I started
painting I saw that I was worrying
for nothing.
Painting is not a secret, it’s one way
to put what's inside of you out and
to show the world a little more
from you.
Some people think that painting is
super hard, but that's because they
have no confidence in themselves.
Before painting I thought so too,
but I realized that I could do it and
having confidence is more than a
step for you to see that you’re not
different from anybody else and
that you can also do it. Just think
positive and move on.
I thought that all would go wrong,
that I would blotch the canvas. But
once I started I did not want to
comecei nem queria parar. Pensava
só em pintar. É muito legal.
Nunca imaginei que pudesse
aprender com um quadro... um
pouco da vida, mas aprendi. Foi a
primeira tela que eu pintei e espero
que não seja a última.

Nos dias que nós fomos para a
chácara, foi muito bom.
Quando eu cheguei lá eu achei
muito estranho. Lá tinha piscina e
dava para nós brincarmos. Depois
me acostumei e fui conhecendo
muitas coisas por lá.
Depois que conheci tudo fui fazer
o meu quadro. O meu quadro foi
com colagem. Eu fiz um parque
com balanços.
Lá tinha um pozinho brilhante que
eu não sabia o que era, e depois a
tia Silvinha me falou e eu fiquei
conhecendo o nome dele; se chama
purpurina. Eu usei purpurina de
variadas cores no meu quadro.

The days we went to the farm
were very good.
When I got there I felt very
strange. There was a pool and we
could play in it. After that I got
used it, and learned many things
there.
After I got to know everything,
I went to do my painting. My
painting is a collage. I did a park
with swings.
There was a bright little powder
and I did not know what it was.
Then Silvia told me and I got to
know its name, it’s called glitter. I
used various colors of glitter in my
painting.

Um belo dia as borboletas voavam ao
redor do sol e do arco-íris, quando uma
menina se perdeu em um lugar cheio de
pedras brilhantes e rubis.
Ela estava feliz e triste ao mesmo tempo,
porque ela gostou muito do lugar que era
bem colorido, mas estava triste porque
estava com saudade de sua família. O lugar
era lindo cheio de girassóis e rosas coloridas.
A menina caminhou tanto que uma hora
ficou triste novamente. Estava com vontade
de conversar com alguém. Como não tinha
ninguém para conversar ela começou a
conversar e até brincar com as borboletas
falando a elas que gostava muito delas. A
menina perguntou a elas se queriam ser
suas amigas. As borboletas aceitaram,
gostando muito das novas amigas e
mostrando a ela o caminho de casa.
No caminho tinha um quintal com muitos
pés de flores onde elas brincaram com
umas pedrinhas que encontraram.
Seguindo em frente, elas passaram por
umas árvores bem grandes por onde as
borboletas acostumavam ficar. A menina
ficou com vontade de subir, mas não
conseguia, até que algumas borboletas a
ajudaram a subir bem no alto da árvore.
Lá em cima, ela avistou o sol e o arco-íris e
começou a pensar em levar os rubis e as

On a beautiful day butterflies fluttered
around the sun and the rainbow, when a
girl got lost in a place full of shiny
stones and rubies.
She was happy and sad at the same time,
because she liked the place that was very
colorful, but was sad because she missed
her family. The place was full of
beautiful sunflowers and colorful roses.
The girl walked so much that at some
point she became sad again, because she
wished she had someone to talk to. As
she didn’t have anyone to talk to she
started playing and even talking to the
butterflies, telling them she loved them.
The girl asked if they wanted to be her
friends. The butterflies agreed, liking
very much their new friend and showing
her the way home.
On the way there was a yard with many
flowers where they played with a little
stones they found. Moving on, they
passed a very large tree where the
butterflies used to be. The girl wished
she could climb it, but couldn’t until
some of the butterflies helped her get
way up high.
Up there she saw the sun and the
rainbow and started thinking of taking
the rubies and brilliant stones for
pedras brilhantes para ela, mas aí pensou
bem e resolveu deixá-las para que algumas
pessoas pobres as achassem. Aí virou para
um lado e para o outro e não encontrou
mais as borboletas tendo que descer
sozinha.
Em seguida encontrou o caminho de casa.
Chegando lá foi bem recebida pela sua
mãe que lhe deu umas torradas que tinha
preparado, onde as comeu gostando muito.

neste tipo de ambiente.
Ao pintar o quadro eu me lembrei
da casa da minha avó e da minha
tia, porque ambas moram em uma
chácara.
Pintar foi uma experiência única e
espero pintar outros quadros mais
bonitos. Eu só tenho a agradecer

Painting this picture was a great
emotion for me. To be able to have
a new experience using the colors
in various shades.
I never expected to paint a picture,
but when I was invited to paint I
had no difficulty in creating it,
because I always spent time in such
an environment.
When painting the picture I
remembered my grandmother's
house and my aunt, because both
live in on a farm.
Painting was a unique experience

A minha inspiração nesta pintura
foi a vida e os acontecimentos da
natureza.
Quando a gente valoriza algo
importante tudo fica cada vez mais
belo, então, se você destruir ou
poluir você perceberá o quanto a
beleza e a vida no mar ou até
mesmo na terra são frágeis.
Com minha pintura, eu quis
expressar e mostrar para algumas
pessoas que até numa gota d’água
a vida não é eterna e sim frágil.
Valorize as belezas da vida e o que
elas beneficiam para você, porque
se depois elas pararem de existir
não estarão lá pra ajudá-lo.

My inspiration in this painting
was life and the events of nature.
When we value something that is
important everything gets more
and more beautiful. So if you
destroy or pollute you realize how
fragile beauty and life at sea or
even on this earth is.
With my painting, I wanted to
express and help people understand
that even in a drop of water, life is
not eternal but fragile.
Appreciate the beauty of life and
how it benefits you, because once
it’s gone it won’t be there for you.

Eu gosto muito do meu quadro,
porque eu gosto da natureza e
pintei muito bonito. O que eu mais
gosto nele são as flores vermelhas.
Eu tenho muitas plantas em casa e
todos os dias eu jogo água nelas. Os
corações representam o meu amor
pela natureza. As estrelas ficam no
céu brilhando à noite, eu gosto disso.
A árvore do meu quadro é a chuva
que rega.

I love my picture because I love
nature, and I painted beautifully.
What I love the most are the red
flowers. I have a lot of plants at
home and everyday I water them.
The hearts represent my love for
nature. The stars are in the sky
shinning at night and I like that.
The tree in my painting is watered
by the rain.
