2. Suryoyo Sat Hallenmasters
Nachdem letztes Jahr der Aramäische Medienverein Suryoyo Sat
Deutschland (AMD) erstmalig das Suryoyo Sat Hallenmasters mit dem
begehrten Wanderpokal bei Mor Gabriel Kirchardt veranstaltet hatte, geht es
dieses Jahr nach Giessen.
Die Suryoyo Sat Gruppe in Giessen, die für die Organisation zuständig ist, hat
die Zusage von 16 Fußballmannschaften bekommen.
Das Turnier findet in der Sport- & Kulturhalle, in Pohlheim-Garbenteich statt.
Am Abend findet im Bürgerhaus Langgöns der Hago mit der Siegerehrung,
bei Musik und Tanz mit Aydin Saliba & Band sowie gutem Essen statt.

Suryoyo Sat in Australien
Erstmalig wird Suryoyo Sat mehrere Reportagen über Down Under – so der Spitzname Australiens –
insbesondere über die dort lebenden Aramäer zeigen. In Australien und Neuseeland wohnen ca. 850
aramäische Familien.
Suryoyo Sat Reporterin Elisabeth Aydin reiste vier Wochen lang durch Australien und besichtigte die
aramäischen Gemeinden der Kirchen St. Ephrem, St. Gabriel, St. Malke und St. Thomas in Sydney.
Wie leben die Aramäer auf der anderen Seite der Erde? Welche Berufe üben sie aus? Wie feiern sie
Weihnachten? Diese und viele andere Fragen werden in den Reportagen diskutiert und beantwortet.
Auch mit Seiner Eminenz Mor Malatius Melki Melki, der syrisch-orthodoxe
Bischof von Australien und Neuseeland, konnte Elisabeth ein Interview
führen.
Gleich mehrere Episoden hat Elisabeth für ihre Sendung „Day in Life“ in
Australien gedreht. Außerdem wurden noch Reportagen über das Land
und die Stadt Sydney gedreht.
Seid gespannt auf die neuen Episoden „Day in Life from Australia“ und
andere Reportagen aus Down Under. Sendebeginn ist der 27. Januar.

Suryoyo Sat beim 5. Neujahrscup 2010 in
Paderborn
Das Suryoyo Sat Team aus Gütersloh hat sowohl das

Fußballturnier
als
auch
die
anschließende Party aufgenommen. Aydin Cilgin und
Christina Sari waren für die Interviews zuständig,
Kameramann war diesmal Toni Ersoy.
Suryoye Paderborn hatte dieses Jahr eine Premiere
vorbereitet. Zum ersten Mal traten Dorfmannschaften aus
dem Turabdin im Fußballturnier gegeneinander an.
Der Hago zum Turnier fand auch dieses Jahr im
Bürgerhaus Schloss Neuhaus statt. Der Sänger war der
aramäische Jungstar aus Schweden Josef Özer, der
bereits auf dem Föderations-Hago der FASD die Halle
zum Beben gebracht hatte.
Welche Mannschaft gewonnen hat, könnt ihr demnächst
auf Suryoyo Sat sehen.
Weihnachtsveranstaltung der
Syrisch-Katholischen Kirche
St. Josef in Köln –
Suryoyo Sat war dabei
Das 5-köpfige Suryoyo Sat Team aus
Gütersloh machte sich am Samstag, den
26. Dezember, schon früh auf dem Weg
nach Köln. Mit dabei waren Edibe Cilgin
und Silvia Dari - beide für die Kamera
zuständig - sowie Christina Sari und Maria
Isleyen – zuständig für Interviews. Als
Teamchef fungierte Indraus Tutas.
Das Programm des Abends war gefüllt mit
Gesang (Josef Basmaci, Milad Mousa),
Tanz, Buffet, Nikolaus-Überraschungen
und Tombola. Demnächst läuft der Beitrag
auf Suryoyo Sat.
Gesangswettbewerb der Kirchenchöre 2009 –
auch dieses Jahr war Suryoyo Sat dabei
Der Syrisch-Orthodoxe Kirchenkreis in NRW hat zum 6. Mal den
Gesangswettbewerb zwischen den Kirchenchören in NRW am 12.
Dezember 2009 veranstaltet. Diesmal fand der Wettbewerb in der
Reethus Halle in Rheda-Wiedenbrück statt.
Unter dem Motto „…wo zwei oder drei in meinem Namen versammelt
sind, da bin ich mitten unter ihnen...“ trafen sich 12 Kirchenchöre und
zeigten den Zuhörern ihre Gesangskünste.
Suryoyo Sat war ebenfalls zum 6. Mal dabei. Aziz Keles und Israil
Büyükdag standen hinter der Kamera. Aydin Cilgin, Maria Isleyen und
Ishak Cilgin haben Interviews mit zahlreichen Anwesenden geführt.
Den ersten Platz erzielte die Chorgruppe Mor Eshayo aus Gronau,
Zweiter Sieger wurde Mor Yuhanon aus Rheda. Den dritten Platz belegte
die Gesangsgruppe Mor Stefanus aus Gütersloh.
Das Suryoyo Sat Team in Gütersloh ist dabei das Filmmaterial zu
bearbeiten.

2. Suryoyo Sat Indoor Football Championship
Last year the Aramean Media Assn. Suryoyo Sat in Germany introduced the Suryoyo Sat Indoor
Football Championship with its challenge cup in the town of Kirchardt for the first time. This year it takes
place in Giessen.
The Suryoyo Sat team of Giessen who is responsible for the organization gets the acceptance of 16
football teams.
The tournament takes place at the Sports and Culture Hall, in Pohlheim-Garbenteich. In the evening
there will be a party with award ceremony, music, dance (Aydin Saliba and Band are playing) and good

Suryoyo Sat in Australia
For the first time Suryoyo Sat will broadcast several reports on Down Under – this is the nickname of
Australia – especially about the Arameans who live there. Approx. 850 Aramean families live in Australia
and New Zealand.
Suryoyo Sat reporter Elisabeth Aydin traveled four weeks in Australia and visited the Syriac-Orthodox
communities of St Ephraim, St Gabriel, St. Malke and St Thomas in Sydney.
How do the Arameans live on the other side of the world? What kind of professions do they have? How
do they celebrate Christmas? These and many more questions will be discussed and replied during the
reports.
Elisabeth had also the opportunity to interview His Eminence Mor Malatius Melki Melki, the SyriacOrthodox Bishop of Australia and New Zealand.
Several episodes of Elisabeth’s show “Day in Life” could be shot in Australia. Furthermore, she also shot
many films about the country and the town of Sydney.
You can be anxious to watch the new episodes of “Day in Life from Australia“ and other reports on Down
Under. Broadcast via Suryoyo Sat is the 27 January 2010.
Suryoyo Sat at the fifth New Year’s Cup 2010 in Paderborn
The Suryoyo Sat Team of Gütersloh filmed not just the volleyball and football tournament, but also the
party that followed. Aydin Cilgin and Christina Sari were the ones who made interviews with the
youngsters, cameraman was Tony Ersoy.
Suryoye Paderborn Assn. provided a premiere this year. For the first time village soccer teams
competed in the tournament.
The hago afterwards took place at the Bürgerhaus Schloss Neuhaus. The Aramean youngster of
Sweden Josef Özer who also raised the roof at the Federations party of the FASD last year was the
singer of the evening. The tournaments and the party can be watched on Suryoyo Sat soon.
Christmas event of the Syriac-Catholic Church St Josef in Cologne –

The Suryoyo Sat Team of five persons of Gütersloh woke up early heading for Cologne on 26
December. Edibe Cilgin and Silvia Dari were both responsible for the camera, Christina Sari and Maria
Isleyen both made interviews with the guests. Team leader was Indraus Tutas this time.
The evening program was full of singing (Josef Basmaci), dancing, buffet, Santa Claus surprise and
tombola. Soon the film will be broadcast on Suryoyo Sat.
Song contest of the church choirs 2009
The Syriac Orthodox Church Assn. of North Rhine-Westphalia organised the song contest of the church
choirs for the sixth time on 12 December 2009. This time the song contest took place at the Reethus hall
in Rheda-Wiedenbrück.
The motto the leaders chose for this contest was “…when two or more of you gather in my name there I
will be also…". 12 church choirs met each other and they showed their favourite songs to the audience.
Suryoyo Sat also attended for the sixth time. Aziz Keles and Israil Büyükdag stood behind the cameras.
Aydin Cilgin, Maria Isleyen and Ishak Cilgin made interviews with many guests.
The first prize won the choir of St. Eshayo of Gronau, the choir of St. John of Rheda came second. The
third prize went to the group of St. Stefan’s of Gütersloh.
