Lässig, cool, Elm. Dem von Jehs und Laub
komplett neu entwickelten Sofa gelingt
souverän der Spagat zwischen Strenge
nach außen und absoluter Weichheit nach
innen. Dafür kombiniert Elm ein feines,
schlichtes Massivholzgestell in Eiche oder
Nussbaum oder ein lackiertes Holzgestell
mit großen, gemütlichen Kissen. Für ein

Casual, cool, Elm. The completely newly
developed sofa by Jehs and Laub succeeds
effortlessly in bridging the gap between
external austerity and absolute inner softness. To achieve this, Elm combines a fine,
simple solid wooden frame in oak or walnut
or a lacquered wooden frame with large,

Mell Lounge gelingt das Kunststück, einladend bequem und gleichzeitig filigran zu
wirken. Dafür sorgen tiefe Sitzflächen und
kuschelige Kissen auf feinen Stahlkufen.
Sie lassen nicht nur das Sofa, sondern auch
die passenden Sessel, Hocker und Tische
scheinbar schweben und verleihen der Sitzlandschaft ihre besondere Leichtigkeit.
Nicht nur der lässige Sitzkomfort, auch der
grafische Verlauf der Nähte unterstreicht
den spannungsvollen Charakter von Mell
Lounge: außen kantig, innen rund, dabei
durchdacht bis ins Detail. Wer genauer
hinschaut, entdeckt noch gerundete Winkel – Akzente, die für minimalistische
Eleganz stehen.
Mell Lounge masters the art of appearing
to be invitingly comfortable and delicately
elegant at the same time. This is thanks to
the deep seating surfaces and cosy cushions resting on slender steel skids. As a
result, not only the sofa but also the matching easy chairs, stools and tables seem to
float, lending the seating landscape a special
lightness. Both the effortless seating com­fort and the graphic progression of the
seams underline the ­engrossing character
of Mell Lounge: angular on the outside,
round on the inside, and well thought out
to the last detail. A closer look reveals
that it also has rounded corners — details
that denote minimalist elegance.

Mell ist die straffere Version von Mell Lounge.
Für die, die es gerade mögen. Die Rückenkissen fehlen hier. Die Sitztiefe ist geringer
und eine aufrechtere Sitzhaltung damit
gewähr­leistet. Was gleich bleibt, ist die spannungsvolle Wirkung z­ wischen der grad­
linigen Außenseite und den haptischen
­Rundungen der Lehnen – und natürlich der
sehr hohe Sitz­komfort. Wie Mell Lounge
steht auch Mell auf schmalen Kufen, die
nach Wunsch verchromt oder farbig lackiert
sind. Spielend leicht lassen sich Sitzelemente, Bänke, Hocker und Tische ­immer
wieder neu miteinander verbinden und
laden so in j­edem Raum harmonisch zum
Verweilen ein.

For people who like things nice and
straight. Mell comes without back cushions. It also has less seat depth, thereby
guaranteeing a more upright sitting posture. What remains unchanged is the
fascinating ­effect created by the combination of the linear exterior and the tactile
curves of the armrests and backrest — and,
of course, the outstanding sitting comfort.
As with Mell Lounge, Mell also rests on
slender skids which are chrome-plated or
lacquered as required. Seating elements,
benches, stools and tables can be combined endlessly and effortlessly, harmoniously inviting you to linger in any room.

Bahir ist das Sofa für die entspannten Momente im Leben. Ein Ort, in dem man sich
ausbreiten und einschmiegen kann, eine
Freiheitszone zum Querliegen und Lesen,
zum Spielen und Im-Netz-Surfen. Um das
zu ermöglichen, ist Bahir als große, einladende Schale angelegt. Die klassische
Zweiteilung von Sitz und Lehne ist dafür
aufgehoben. Und so möchte man Bahir weniger als Sitzmöbel bezeichnen denn als
privaten Raum, in dem man sich mit Kissen, Decken, Lebenspartner, Keksen und
Kindern einrichten kann, wie man will. Gut
zu wissen, dass der gesteppte Bezug einfach abnehmbar und zu reinigen ist. Seine
Nähte unterstreichen die klare Grund­
struktur des Möbels. Ein Hocker dient als
Ergänzung.
Bahir is the sofa for the relaxed moments
in life. A place where you can sprawl and
snuggle, a free zone for lounging and reading, playing and surfing the Web. To make
this possible, Bahir wis designed as a large,
inviting basin. This is balanced by the ­absence of the classic division into seat and
backrest. Bahir is therefore not so much a
piece of furniture as a private space in
which you can arrange cushions, blankets,
life partners, biscuits and children just
the way you like it. It’s good to know that
the quilted cover is simple to remove and
to clean. Its seams underline the clear
basic structure of the piece. Bahir is complemented by a stool.

Diversity from one form. Jehs & Laub have
elevated the cushion to the status of seating furniture, and its expansive surfaces and
arrays to that of a product range. Jalis can
float, rest on pedestals, integrate or highlight tables, change levels and incorporate
niches and floor recesses. No matter where
it stands, its enclosing backrests and deep
seats create a sense of security.

Sofa und Sessel sind beide mit der präg­nant geschwungenen Sitzfläche versehen
und ermöglichen korrektes Sitzen auf
komfortable Weise. Hier lümmelt man nicht
herum, sondern sitzt aufrecht und legt,
wenn das Bedürfnis nach Ruhe besteht,
die Beine gepflegt auf den dazugehörigen
Hocker. Rawi gibt es in drei verschiedenen
Breiten, mit eleganten Stahlkufen oder
alternativ mit klassischen Holzfüßen. Der
passende Sessel ist zusätzlich mit einem
Fußkreuz erhältlich.
The sofa and easy chair, both with strikingly
curved seating ­surfaces, provide a correct
sitting posture and comfort at the same time.
They are not for slouching, but for sitting
upright or, if rest is required, putting your
feet up in style on the matching stool. The
Rawi sofa comes in three different widths,

with classic wooden feet. The matching easy

It is no coincidence that this sofa is called
Rawi Lounge. Rawi is the Arabic word for
storyteller, and stories are best heard while

planen. Das kubische Design ist schlicht,
die Nutzung einfach vielfältig.
A pedestal at rest becomes a multifaceted
kaleidoscope: the arm and backrests can
be adjusted almost infinitely from the vertical to the horizontal. Cushions can be
­repositioned at will, and stools become tables. This is Kaja, the seating concept from
¥. Virtually countless configurations can
be planned using just six sofa elements
and two stools. The cubic design is simple,
and its uses simply manifold.

Planung zur Auswahl.

sculpture. Emerging from under­neath the
seat in a soft arc, the broad armrests and
backrests open out to the viewer. Alone ­­or

widths (150 cm, 190 cm, 220 cm and 250 cm),

klein und zierlich, ohne dominant oder
aufdringlich zu wirken. Der kleine Unterschied mit großer Wirkung steckt fast
verborgen im Sessel: Quant ist mit Rollen
beweglich oder mit Kufen markant. Er ist
mit Füßen ­bodenständig oder kann Ihnen
mit einer Drehung den Rücken zukehren,
und dies alles in zwei unterschiedlichen
Sessel­breiten. Die Quant-Sofas sind in drei
Breiten mit ihren charakteristischen Kufen
Blickfang und zugleich Ruhepol in jeder

Quant is the armchair, sofa, chair and table

The armchairs are small and dainty, without dominating or seeming obtrusive. The
tiny difference with immense impact lies
almost hidden within the armchair. Quant
can be mobile on castors or make a striking impression on skids. It can be solid and
immobile on feet or turn its back on you
with a swift rotation and all in two different
widths. The Quant ­sofas, in three widths

the armrest of the Mell sofa. It also helps

logistics, seek to avoid and reduce harmful emissions
and waste, and to increase recycling. We are also part
of an open forum on environmental matters. With us
environmental protection is more than just a beautiful
