MENSAGEM DO
CONSELHO ADMINISTRATIVO
A história de 500 famílias de suábios do Danúbio que, a partir de 1951, imigraram para o Brasil,
deram início à Agrária e reescreveram seu próprio destino, é uma história que nestes 60 anos
enseja reflexão sobre o futuro. Comemorações deste jubileu tiveram início no dia 5 de maio
(data de fundação da Cooperativa).
Com a participação da comunidade, está sendo organizada uma festividade a ser realizada de
4 a 8 de janeiro de 2012, em comemoração aos 60 anos da imigração suábia em Entre Rios.
No contexto histórico, consideramos que a Cooperativa vem conseguindo cumprir seus
objetivos: ela assegurou o futuro dos imigrantes suábios, manteve viva sua cultura, iniciou
a pesquisa agrícola, fortaleceu a agricultura e estabeleceu indústrias. Com isso, assumiu
importante significado econômico não só para seus associados, mas para o distrito de Entre
Rios e o município de Guarapuava.
Nossa história prossegue e reafirmamos neste ensejo o nossos compromissos: apoio
ao cooperado; qualidade para nossos clientes; preservação da cultura; participação na
comunidade, ajudando entidades assistenciais, realizando mais do que costuma ser o papel
de uma empresa.
Mas é preciso ter em mente que a continuidade do fortalecimento da Agrária e de Entre Rios
se definirá de acordo com as decisões que tomarmos agora. Devemos manter o espírito
comunitário que nos trouxe até aqui. Devemos ainda considerar que o futuro depende de
novos desafios, de nossa disposição para desenvolver nossas atividades também em outros
campos do agronegócio.
Desafios, por outro lado, sempre fizeram parte de nossa trajetória. Para superá-los, temos hoje
a experiência do passado, a criatividade das novas gerações e o tradicional apoio de parceiros
institucionais, comerciais e tecnológicos. Nesta união, somando talentos e amizades no melhor
sentido do cooperativismo, percorreremos os caminhos do amanhã.

MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD
OF DIRECTORS
Die Geschicht der 500 donauschwäbischen Familien, die ab 1951 nach
Brasilien auswanderten, dort die Genossenschaft Agrária gründeten
und damit ihr eigenes Schicksal selbst in die Hand nahmen, ist eine
Geschichte, die nach 60 Jahren Anlass zu Überlegungen über die
Zukunft gibt. Die Feierlichkeiten zu diesem Jubiläum begannen am 5. Mai
(Gründungstag der Genossenschaft).
The history of 500 Danube Swabian families, who from 1951 on immigrated
to Brazil, started Agrária and re-wrote their own future, is a 60-year story
that leads one to reflect on the future. The celebrations of this jubilee
started on May 5 (the date when the Cooperative was founded).
Zusammen mit der Gemeinde wird ein Fest zum 60. Jubiläum der
donauschwäbischen Einwanderung in Entre Rios geplant, das vom 4. bis
8. Januar 2012 stattfinden wird.
In diesem geschichtlichen Rahmen betrachtet, konnte die Genossenschaft
ihre Ziele erreichen: sie sicherte die Zukunft der donauschwäbischen
Einwanderer, hielt ihre Kultur lebendig, begann landwirtschaftliche
Forschungen, stärkte die „Landwirtschaft und nahm Industrien in Betrieb.
Damit übernahm die Genossenschaft eine wichtige wirtschaftliche
Bedeutung bei ihren Mitgliedern und ebenso auch im Bezirk Entre Rios
und im Distrikt Guarapuava.
Unsere Geschichte geht weiter und wir bekräftigen bei dieser Gelegenheit
unsere Verpflichtungen: Qualität für unsere Kunden; Erhaltung der
Kultur; gesellschaftliches Engagement, durch Unterstützung sozialer
Einrichtungen und durch Tätigkeiten, die über die Aufgaben eines
Unternehmens hinausgehen.
Dabei muss immer bedacht werden, dass die weitere Stärkung der
Genossenschaft sowie von Entre Rios, von den Entscheidungen
abhängt, die heute getroffen werden. Der Gemeinschaftssinn, der uns
hierher gebracht hat, muss weiterhin bestehen bleiben und es ist zu
berücksichtigen, dass die Zukunft von kommenden Herausforderungen
abhängt, ebenso auch von der Bereitschaft, unsere Aktivitäten in weiteren
Bereichen der Agrarwirtschaft zu verstärken.
Herausforderungen waren seit jeher Teil unserer Geschichte. Um sie zu
bestehen, haben wir heute unsere Erfahrungen aus der Vergangenheit,
die Kreativität der neuen Generationen und die traditionelle Unterstützung
der Geschäftspartner, im Handel und in der Technologie. Zusammen
mit zusätzlichen Talenten und Freundschaften im besten Sinne des
Genossenschaftswesens gehen wir daher zuversichtlich die Zukunft an.
With the participation of the community, festivities are being organized
for January 4 to 8, 2012, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Swabian
immigration to Entre Rios.
In the historical context, we consider that the Cooperative has been
successful in meeting its goals: it has ensured the future of the Swabian
immigrants, kept their culture alive, started agricultural research, developed
the farming activity, and established industries. As a result, it has assumed
an important economic significance not only to its associates, but also to
the district of Entre Rios and the municipality of Guarapuava.
Our history goes on, and at this opportunity we wish to reaffirm our
commitments: support for our members; quality for our clients; cultural
preservation; participation in the community life, helping social welfare
entities – indeed, going beyond a company’s usual role.
But one should bear in mind that the continued development of both
Agrária and Entre Rios will be determined by the decisions we take now.
We must maintain the community spirit that has brought us this far. We
must also consider that the future depends on new challenges, and on our
willingness to develop our activities in other fields of agribusiness as well.
Challenges, on the other hand, have always been part of our path in
history. In order to overcome them, today we can count on our past
experience, the creativity of the new generations and the traditional
support of institutional, commercial and technological partners. In this
alliance, putting together talents and friendships in the best expression of
the cooperative ideal, we shall follow the roads into the future.

Eventos sobre segurança no trabalho e
qualidade complementaram e ampliaram
nossas ações. No contexto destes
eventos, pudemos contar mais uma vez
com o importante apoio do SESCOOP e
de entidades como o Sindicato Rural de
Guarapuava e o SENAR.
Veranstaltungen über Arbeitssicherheit
und Qualität ergänzten und erweiterten
unsere Aktivitäten. Im Rahmen dieser
Veranstaltungen konnten wir ein weiteres
Mal mit der wichtigen Unterstützung des
SESCOOP und von Institutionen wie das
landwirtschaftliche Syndikat von Guarapuava
und des SENAR rechnen.

complemented and broadened our actions.
In the context of these events, once again we
were able to rely on the important support of
SESCOOP (the National Cooperative Training
Service) and entities such as the Rural Union
of Guarapuava and SENAR (the National
Agricultural Training Service).

Ao mesmo tempo em que manteve sua
meta de Acidente Zero, e suas ações para a
segurança no trabalho, a Agrária reforçou a
importância da comunicação de incidentes,
pois eles revelam a probabilidade de um
acidente. Por isso, em vários setores, o
SESMT orientou funcionários a difundir entre
seus colegas a importância do registro de
incidentes. Da mesma forma, em vários
departamentos foram colocadas urnas nas
quais os colaboradores podem depositar
formulários com os registros.
Die Agrária hielt an ihrem Ziel „Null-Unfälle“
und an ihren Aktionen im Rahmen der
Arbeitssicherheit fest und verstärkte zugleich
die Bedeutung der Meldung von Vorfällen, da
diese die Wahrscheinlichkeit eines Unfalles
anzeigen. Deshalb beauftragte der SESMT
in verschiedenen Abteilungen die Mitarbeiter,
den Kollegen die Wichtigkeit über die Meldung
von Zwischenfällen weiterzugeben. Ebenso
wurden in verschiedenen Abteilungen Urnen
aufgestellt, in die Mitarbeiter ihre Formulare zu
Vorfällen legen können.
While maintaining its goal of Zero Accidents
and its actions to promote labor safety, Agrária
stressed the importance of notifying incidents,
as they reveal the probability of an accident
occurring. To this end, in several sectors, the
SESMT (Specialized Labor Safety and Medical
Service) oriented employees to disseminate
among their colleagues the importance of
recording incidents. With the same objective,
ballot boxes in which employees can deposit
forms with such records were placed in
several departments.

A Semana Interna de Prevenção de
Acidentes (SIPAT 2011) aconteceu de 23 a 26
de agosto, com colaboradores apresentando
teatros e concurso de paródias musicais
sobre a importância da segurança no
trabalho. Também tiveram lugar palestras
sobre segurança.
Die Interne Woche zur Unfallverhütung
(SIPAT 2011) fand vom 23. bis 26. August
statt. Mitarbeiter zeigten Theaterstücke und
musikalische Parodien-Wettbewerbe über die
Wichtigkeit der Sicherheit am Arbeitsplatz.
Daneben fanden auch Vorträge zur Sicherheit
statt.

The Internal Week for Accident Prevention
(“SIPAT 2011”) took place from August 23
to 26, with employees presenting theatrical
pieces and a competition of musical parodies
about the importance of labor safety. Talks
about safety were also given.

No dia 8 de outubro, no Seminário da
Qualidade, sob o lema “Desmistificando
a inovação”, colaboradores apresentaram
alguns dos projetos que a Cooperativa
vem implementando para prosseguir com
a evolução constante da qualidade (falling
number e W em trigo, inovação, gestão de
contas na Unidade Vitória, moagem de trigo,
esvaziamento de silos na Unidade Pinhão,
além de um trabalho sobre eficiência global na
Fábrica de Rações). O seminário contou com a
presença de cerca de 580 participantes

werden, um die ständige Weiterentwicklung

der Einheit Vitória, Weizenmühle, Entleerung
der Silos in der Einheit Pinhão, sowie
eine Arbeit über die Gesamteffizienz der
Futtermittelfabrik). Das Seminar besuchten
rund 580 Teilnehmer.

under the motto “Demystifying Innovation”,
employees presented some of the projects
that the Cooperative has been implementing
to maintain the constant evolution of
quality (“Falling Number” and “W” in wheat,
innovation, accounts management in the
Vitória Unit, wheat milling, emptying silos in
the Pinhão Unit, in addition to a study of global
efficiency in the Animal Feed Factory). About
580 people took part in the seminar.

Em 2011, prosseguiu na Agrária o programa
Green Belts, iniciado em 2009 com apoio do
INDG. Com base na metodologia 6 Sigma e
foco principalmente na redução de custos e
melhoria de processos, os 17 participantes
desenvolveram diversos projetos. Estas
ações representaram ganhos significativos
para a Agrária, seja em qualidade, bem
como em resultado financeiro.
Im Jahre 2011 wurde das Programm
Green Belts fortgesetzt, das 2009 mit der
Unterstützung des INDG begonnen hatte.
Basierend auf der 6-Sigma-Methode und
mit den Hauptzielen, Kosten zu senken und
Prozesse zu verbessern, entwickelten die
17 Teilnehmer verschiedene Projekte. Diese
Aktionen brachten der Agrária in Qualität
wie auch bei finanziellen Ergebnissen
beachtenswerte Gewinne.
In 2011, the Green Belts program, which
was started in 2009 with the support of the
INDG (Managerial Development Institute),
was continued at Agrária. Based on the 6
Sigma methodology and focused mainly
on cost reduction and the improvement of
processes, the 17 participants developed
several projects. These actions represented
considerable gains for Agrária, not only in
quality, but also in financial results.

Os grupos de Círculo de Controle de
Qualidade (CCQ) também prosseguiram
seus trabalhos durante o ano. Em 2011, a
Cooperativa contou com 40 grupos, que
apresentaram 83 projetos – um total de 42
foi implantado. Os principais objetivos foram
melhorias nos âmbitos de: segurança no
trabalho, redução de custos, qualidade e/ou
racionalização de processos.

führten ihre Arbeiten während des Jahres
fort. Im Jahre 2011 verfügte die Agrária über
40 Gruppen, die 83 Projekte vorführten –
insgesamt wurden 42 Projekte eingeführt.
Hauptziele waren Verbesserungen in den
Bereichen: Sicherheit am Arbeitsplatz,
Kostensenkung, Qualität und/oder Straffung
der Prozesse.

also continued their work during the year. In
2011 the Cooperative had 40 groups, which
presented 83 projects – a total of 42 were
implemented. The main objectives were
improvements in the spheres of labor safety,
cost reduction, quality and/or rationalization of
processes.

Em parceria com FGV / ISAE, teve
prosseguimento mais uma etapa do MBA
Gestão Empresarial e o Agronegócio.
Composta por 44 participantes, a turma
proporciona integração entre cooperados e
colaboradores. A conclusão do curso está
prevista para agosto de 2012.

eine neue Etappe des MBA in betrieblicher
Geschäftsführung und Agribusiness
fortgesetzt. Zusammengesetzt aus 44
Teilnehmern, stärkt die Gruppe auch die
Integration zwischen Mitgliedern und
Mitarbeitern. Der Abschluss des Kurses ist für
August 2012 geplant.
In a partnership with FGV / ISAE (Getúlio Vargas
Foundation / Higher Institute for Management
and Economics), another phase of the MBA
“Business Management and Agribusiness”
was continued. Comprising 44 participants, the
class enables integration among cooperative
members and employees. The course is
scheduled for conclusion in August 2012.

Com apoio metodológico da empresa
NRH Idiomas, a Agrária deu início a um
curso de inglês para 40 colaboradores
de departamentos que mantém contato
comercial e/ou tecnológico com empresas
de outros países. Os custos são
parcialmente subsidiados pela Cooperativa.

für 40 Mitarbeiter von Abteilungen, die

course for 40 employees of departments that
maintain commercial and/or technological

Em 2011, a Agrária promoveu uma
reestruturação de seu organograma,
passando do modelo de gerenciamento por
função para o gerenciamento por unidades
de negócios. A principal modificação é que
as gerências passaram de quatro para nove
e as tarefas das antigas gerências foram
redistribuídas entre as já existentes e as
novas. Além disso, alguns departamentos
foram realocados sob outras gerências ou
coordenações. Esta reestruturação contribui
para o bom desempenho das atividades
industriais e comerciais da Cooperativa.
2011 führte die Agrária eine Umstrukturierung
des Firmenorganigramms durch. Damit wurde
das Modell, Verwaltung nach Funktionen, auf
eine Verwaltung nach Geschäftseinheiten
umgestellt. Die Hauptänderung betrifft die vier
Abteilungsleiter, die auf neun erweitert wurden
und zudem wurden die Aufgaben zwischen
den neuen und den schon bestehenden
Leitungen neu aufgeteilt. Außerdem wurden
Abteilungen unter neue Leitungen oder
Koordinatoren gestellt. Die Umstrukturierung
trägt zu einer besseren Leistung der
industriellen und kommerziellen Aktivitäten der
Genossenschaft bei.
In 2011, Agrária carried out a restructuring
of its organization chart, changing from
the management per function model to
management per business unit. The main
alteration is that the number of sectors
under managers rose from four to nine,
and the tasks of the previous sectors
were redistributed among those already
existing and the new ones. In addition,
some departments were reallocated to
other management or coordination sectors.
This restructuring contributes to the good
performance of the Cooperative’s industrial
and commercial activities.

Entre fevereiro e março, com apoio da Bayer,
teve lugar a 1ª Copa Agrária de Futebol
Suíço. As partidas foram disputadas na
Arca, proporcionando uma oportunidade de
integração para cooperados e colaboradores
do departamento de Assistência Técnica.

Schweizer Fußballturnier statt. Die Spiele
wurden auf dem Gelände der Arca
ausgetragen und förderten die Integration

No dia 5 de maio, a Agrária reuniu
cooperados e pioneiros, no Centro Cultural
Mathias Leh, para festejar os 60 anos de
fundação da Cooperativa com um show do
grupo musical Família Lima. O evento contou
com a presença do presidente do Sistema
Ocepar, João Paulo Koslovski
Am 5. Mai trafen sich Mitglieder der Agrária
und Pioniere im Kulturzentrum Mathias
Leh, um das 60-jährige Gründungsjahr
der Genossenschaft mit einem Konzert
der „Família Lima“ zu feiern. An der
Veranstaltung nahm auch der Präsident des
Genossenschaftsverbandes von Paraná
(Ocepar), João Paulo Koslovski, teil.
On May 5th, Agrária brought together

Assim como dirigentes e colaboradores da
Agrária se encontram nas reuniões anuais
do Planejamento Estratégico para refletir e
determinar os caminhos da Cooperativa no
médio e no longo prazo, a Agrária entende
que seu papel também é o de orientar seus
cooperados para que suas propriedades
sejam economicamente viáveis no futuro.
Por isso, em 2011, a Agrária desenvolveu
os Projetos de Sustentabilidade. Na
iniciativa, a Cooperativa reuniu cooperados
e colaboradores em grupos de trabalho que
estudaram a viabilidade da diversificação
rural em vários setores:

der Genossenschaft mittel- und langfristig
zu beraten, sieht es auch die Agrária als ihre

wirtschaftlich rentabel bleiben.
Deshalb entwickelte die Agrária im Jahre 2011
Nachhaltigkeitsprojekte. Bei dieser Initiative
trafen sich Mitglieder und Mitarbeiter der Agrária
in Arbeitsgruppen, um die Lebensfähigkeit zur
landwirtschaftlichen Diversifizierung in folgenden
Bereichen auszuloten:

debater os estudos com os cooperados.
Diante das informações, cada cooperado
está analisando a necessidade e a
viabilidade de iniciar algum tipo de
diversificação rural.

Mitarbeiter Versammlungen ab, um den
Mitgliedern die Studien vorzustellen
und darüber zu diskutieren. Anhand
der Informationen analysiert nun jedes
Mitglied für sich selbst die Notwendigkeit
und Machbarkeit eines geeigneten
Diversifizierungsprojektes.

nas propriedades rurais. Os encontros
mostraram como é possível conciliar as
visões de diferentes gerações a respeito da
administração das atividades.

ebenfalls im Oktober, eine Versammlung, um
Herausforderungen und Perspektiven der
Nachfolge in landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben zu

auf, die Ansichten verschiedener Generationen
in Bezug auf die Verwaltung des Landgutes in
Einklang zu bringen.

A tecnologia é a base da agricultura
praticada pelos cooperados da Agrária. Este
princípio norteou mais uma vez as ações da
Cooperativa e de seus associados durante o
ano no âmbito da produção rural.

den Mitgliedern der Agrária praktizierte
Landwirtschaft. Dies war erneut im Laufe
des Jahres das Leitprinzip zu Aktionen der
Genossenschaft und ihrer Mitglieder im

SOJA AFS 110 RR – Em março, a Agrária
lançou a primeira cultivar de soja com a
marca da Cooperativa (tecnologia Brasmax
e licença para uso da marca Agrária). A
comercialização da nova soja é voltada tanto
a cooperados quanto aos produtores rurais
em geral.

Agrária die erste Sojasorte mit ihrer Marke
heraus (Technologie Brasmax und Lizenz
zur Verwendung der Marke Agrária). Die

SOY - AFS 110 RR – In March, Agrária
launched the first soy cultivar with the
Cooperative’s brand (Brasmax technology and
license for the use of the Agrária brand). The
marketing of the new soy is directed to both the
cooperative members and farmers in general.

a Agrária e a UFRGS divulgaram, para
os participantes do WinterShow 2011, o
lançamento da aveia URS FAPA SLAVA.

SOJA – Agrária, FAPA e Syngenta mais
uma vez realizaram o Projeto Radar –
monitoramento de doenças da soja. O
sistema permite a agrônomos e cooperados
acompanhar em tempo real, na tela do
computador, a incidência de doenças da
lavoura na área de atuação da Agrária. Com
esta informação, os cooperados podem
realizar aplicações de defensivos para evitar
ou minimizar os efeitos das mesmas. O
Radar 2011 abrangeu 29 áreas sentinelas.

führten wieder das Radar-Projekt durch –
Überwachung von Sojakrankheiten. Das
System ermöglicht Agraringenieuren und
Mitgliedern, in Echt-Zeit am ComputerBildschirm, das Auftreten von Krankheiten auf
den Feldern im Tätigkeitsgebiet der Agrária zu
begleiten. Mit diesen Informationen des Radars
können die Mitglieder Pflanzenschutzmittel
anbringen, um Krankheiten zu vermeiden oder
ihre Auswirkungen zu minimieren. Das Radar
2011 umfasste 29 Kontroll-Bereiche.
SOY – Agrária, FAPA and Syngenta once again
carried out the Radar Project – monitoring soy
diseases. The system enables agronomists

of the plant’s diseases in the area where
Agrária operates. With this information, the
cooperative members can effect applications
of defensive chemicals in order to avoid or

TRIGO e CEVADA – Agrária, FAPA e
Syngenta decidiram criar em 2011 o
chamado “Radar das culturas de inverno”:
um monitoramento de doenças para evitar ou
reduzir seus efeitos. – O sistema se constituiu
de um conjunto de áreas sentinelas em
lavouras da região (19, para a cevada; e 20
para trigo).
Reunidos diariamente, pesquisadores e
técnicos acompanharam as condições
meteorológicas, emitindo um alerta aos
cooperados quando consideravam que o
quadro se mostrava favorável às doenças. O
objetivo foi permitir aplicações preventivas de
defensivos.

Winterkulturen“ ins Leben zu rufen: Überwachung
von Krankheiten, um diese zu vermeiden oder

WHEAT and BARLEY – In 2011, Agrária,
FAPA and Syngenta decided to create
the so-called “Radar for winter crops”,
monitoring diseases to avoid or reduce their
effects. – The system consists of a group of
sentinel areas in the region’s plantations (19
for barley, and 20 for wheat).
Meeting on a daily basis, researchers and
technicians followed the weather conditions,
issuing an alert to cooperative members
when they considered the situation was
favorable to diseases. The objective was to
enable preventive applications of defensive
chemicals.

Mais uma vez, a Agrária sediou a Reunião
Nacional da Pesquisa da Cevada. Com a
presença de integrantes de toda a cadeia
produtiva da cevada, o encontro ocorreu
nos dias 12 e 13 de abril, no Centro Cultural
Mathias Leh. A reunião apresentou e debateu
tópicos como: resultados de pesquisa; o
atual estágio do melhoramento genético da
cevada; e a revisão das indicações técnicas
para o plantio da safra 2011/12.

Versammlung für Gerstenforschung. Das Treffen
fand am 12. und 13. April im Kulturzentrum
Mathias Leh statt, mit Teilnehmern der gesamten
Gerstenproduktionskette. Die Versammlung

Once again Agrária hosted the National
Meeting for Barley Research. With the
presence of participants in the whole barley
production chain, the meeting took place on
April 12th and 13th, in the Mathias Leh Cultural
Center. The meeting presented and discussed
topics such as research results, the present
stage of genetic improvement of barley, and a
review of the technical recommendations for
planting the 2011/12 crop.

Feijão – O feijão é uma cultura que ganhou
maior espaço na Agrária nos últimos anos.
Por isso, a Cooperativa promoveu, no
dia 2 de setembro, uma reunião técnica
sobre aquela cultura, com a participação
dos agrônomos do Departamento de
Assistência Técnica. Especialista no assunto,
o pesquisador Edson Lolatto, do IAPAR,
abordou vários tópicos importantes para
um cultivo bem-sucedido. Além disso, a
Cooperativa decidiu, em sua fundação
de pesquisas, a FAPA, iniciar trabalhos
de pesquisa de feijão. Atualmente, 33
cooperados se dedicam à cultura.
Bohnen – In den letzten Jahren gewann
die Bohnenkultur größeren Anteil in
der Agrária. Deshalb veranstaltete die
Genossenschaft am 2. September eine
technische Versammlung über diese Kultur
unter Mitwirkung von Agraringenieuren der
Abteilung für Technische Beratung. Der
Spezialist in diesem Bereich, Forscher Edson
Lolatto des Instituts IAPAR, sprach mehrere
wichtige Punkte zu einem erfolgreichen
Anbau an. Außerdem beschloss die
Genossenschaft, Forschungen in diesem
Bereich bei der FAPA durchzuführen. Derzeit
widmen sich 33 Mitglieder dieser Kultur.

space in Agrária in the last few years.
Therefore, on September 2nd, the Cooperative
organized a technical meeting about this
crop, with the participation of the agronomists
from the Technical Assistance Department. A
specialist in the subject, the researcher Edson
Lolatto, from the IAPAR (Paraná Agronomics
Institute), addressed several topics that are
important for successful cultivation. In addition,
the Cooperative decided to initiate research
work focusing on beans in its research
foundation (FAPA). Presently, 33 cooperative
members are growing the crop.

Tomate – Como resultado dos debates sobre
diversificação rural realizados no âmbito
dos Projetos de Sustentabilidade, aumentou
o número de cooperados que decidiram
investir na produção de tomates. Com plantio
de novembro a janeiro, a expectativa dos
produtores é a de que o cultivo do tomate
confirme a boa rentabilidade indicada
pelos estudos de viabilidade. Outras
hortaliças também vêm ganhando espaço
como alternativa de diversificação rural e
incremento de renda entre os cooperados.

Mitgliedern entschloss sich, in die
Tomatenproduktion zu investieren, was
auf das Ergebnis der Debatten über die
Diversifizierung der Landwirtschaft im Bereich
der Nachhaltigkeitsprojekte zurückzuführen
ist. Mit der Aussaat von November bis
Januar, erwarten die Produzenten, eine
Bestätigung der Rentabilitätsstudien.
Andere Gemüsesorten gewinnen ebenfalls
mehr Aufmerksamkeit als Alternative zur
Diversifizierung in der Landwirtschaft und zur
Erhöhung der Einnahmen der Mitglieder.
Tomatoes – As a result of the discussions
about rural diversification carried out in
the sphere of the Sustainability Projects,
the number of cooperative members who
decided to invest in tomato production
has increased. With planting taking place
from November to January, the producers’
expectation is that the good profitability of
tomato cultivation indicated by the feasibility
studies will be confirmed. Other vegetables
have also been gaining space as alternatives
for rural diversification and increasing income
among the cooperative members.

Technologie – Gentechnisch veränderte
Sorten finden auf den Feldern der Mitglieder

Technology – In their plantations, the
cooperative members have been using
transgenic cultivars, with a short cycle, low
stature (less prone to be flattened by wind),
adapted to the climate of Agrária’s region,
and with a greater response to the soil’s
fertility. Advances in dealing with end-of-cycle
diseases likewise contribute to good harvests.
Harvest profile – The better treatment of
diseases, in addition to the favorable climate,
enabled a record average productivity of
3,697 kg/ha.

results in high productivity. In this harvest, the
cooperative members’ plantations reached,
on average, a productivity of 11,354 kg/ha.

de doenças e o uso de cultivares
recomendados pela FAPA (materiais da
EMBRAPA-Trigo) caracterizaram a safra. A
FAPA monitorou em tempo real condições
de risco de doenças da lavoura, alertando
os cooperados, via celular, para realizarem
aplicações preventivas de defensivos.
Perfil da safra – Apesar de clima
desfavorável devido à chuva, o correto
manejo da lavoura assegurou uma safra com
a qualidade demandada pela maltaria da
Cooperativa. A produtividade, de 4.425
kg/ha, foi considerada muito boa em especial
num quadro meteorológico adverso. O nível
de precipitações no período foi recorde,
desde o início do registro pela FAPA: de junho

the crop ensured a harvest with the quality
required by the Cooperative’s malt plant. The

Diante da necessidade de mais espaço para
as safras, em 2011, a Cooperativa construiu
um armazém para mais 104 mil toneladas
de grãos na Unidade Guarapuava. Com
isso, a capacidade total se elevou de 671
mil t para 775 mil t. Em seu conjunto, a obra
também incluiu outras melhorias, como
um novo local onde caminhões podem
estacionar para a retirada de amostras de
grãos, além da ampliação da capacidade
de secagem, o que visa agilizar a recepção
das safras. Melhorias em instalações para
colaboradores, como novos vestiários,
complementam o projeto.

Mitarbeiter, wie neue Umkleideräume.

In view of the need for more space for
the crops, in 2011 the Cooperative built
a warehouse for another 104,000 tons of
grain in the Guarapuava Unit. As a result,
total capacity was increased from 671,000
tons to 775,000 tons. The construction
work undertaken also included other
improvements, such as a new place where
trucks can park for the collection of grain
samples, in addition to the expansion of
drying capacity, aiming to speed up the
receiving of crops. Improvements in facilities
for employees, such as new dressing rooms,
complete the project.

Nas auditorias de ISO 22.000, a indústria
alcançou sua recertificação naquele padrão,
obtido em 2010.

im Einklang mit den Vorschriften für die
Lebensmittelsicherheit.
Durch die Prüfungen der ISO 22.000 wurde
die Industrie neu zertifiziert, für den Standard,
den sie 2010 erlangte.
Structure – In 2011, the whole structure
of the malt plant operated, once again, in
accordance with the parameters of food
safety. In the ISO 22.000 audits, the industry
achieved its recertification in this standard,
initially attained in 2010.

Markt – Die Vermarktung von Pilsenmalz
erfüllte die Erwartungen und die von
Spezialmalze (Weyermann®) übertraf
die Schätzung. Der Verkauf von Hopfen
(HVG) überstieg ebenfalls das Volumen
des vergangenen Jahres. Eine wichtige
Vereinbarung wurde in diesem Jahr
getroffen: die Agromalte übernahm die
Verkaufsvertretung von Hefe der Lallemand,
die ihren Sitz in Kanada hat.
Market – The sales of pilsner malt were
within what was expected, and those of
special malts (Weyermann®) went beyond
expectations. Sales of hops (HVG) also
exceeded those of the previous year. An
important agreement was signed during the
year: Agromalte started selling in Brazil the
yeasts produced by Lallemand, a company
with headquarters in Canada.

Estrutura - Em 2011, o moinho da Agrária
intensificou a utilização da estrutura que
implantou, em 2010, para a produção de
farinhas integrais. O diagrama permite
a fabricação de farinhas de diversos
cereais. No ano, o moinho passou por sete
auditorias que reafirmaram o padrão de
qualidade ISO 22.000.
Struktur – Im Jahr 2011 verstärkte die Mühle
der Agrária die Auslastung der im Jahre
2010 erbauten Struktur zur Produktion von
Vollkornmehl. Die Industrie ermöglicht die
Herstellung von Mehl aus verschiedenen
Getreidesorten. Während des Jahres durchlief
die Mühle sieben Prüfungen, die den
Qualitätsstandard ISO 22.000 bestätigten, den
die Mühle seit 2007 innehat.
Structure - In 2011, Agrária’s mill intensified
the utilization of the structure it had installed
in 2010 for the production of whole flours. The
diagram enables the manufacture of flours
from several cereals. During the year, the mill
underwent seven audits, which confirmed the
ISO 22.000 quality standard.
Markt – Auf dem Sektor der Industrien für
Brotwaren und Kekse stieg die Nachfrage
an Vollkornmehl. Den Kunden wurden auch
Produkte wie Roggenmehl, geschälte Gerste
und weiterverarbeiteter Leinensamen geliefert.
Ebenfalls wurde mit der Lieferung von Mehlen
für den industriellen Einsatz zur Herstellung von
Waffer und auch an Unternehmen im
Fast-Food-Bereich begonnen.

sector, greater demand for whole flours
was observed. We supply clients with
products such as rye flour, husked barley
and processed linseed. The supply of
industrial standard flours for wafers and also
for companies of the fast-food sector was
started.

Estrutura – Teve início em 2011 uma
ampliação da fábrica, com término previsto
para o final de 2012. Os principais pontos
do projeto consistem na duplicação da
capacidade de produção, de 20 t/hora
para 40 t/hora, expansão e modernização
da automação de processos e novos silos
para rações.

Abschluss bis Ende 2012. Hauptmaßnahmen
des Projektes sind die Verdoppelung der
Produktionskapazität von 20 t/Std. auf
40 t/Std., die Erweiterung und Erneuerung der
Prozessautomatisierung und neue Futtersilos.
Structure – An expansion of the factory was
begun in 2011, with completion scheduled
for the end of 2012. The project’s main points
consist of doubling the production capacity,
from 20 tons to 40 tons per hour; expansion
and modernization of the automation of
processes; and new silos for animal feed.
Markt – Die Rinderzucht zur Milch- und
Fleischerzeugung blieb im Jahre 2011
zuversichtlich. Als Folge davon erhöhte
sich die Nachfrage bei den Züchtern an
Futtermitteln für diese beiden Segmente. In
diesem Jahr verzeichnete die Fabrik eine
Rekordproduktion von rund 165.000 Tonnen.
Market – The dairy and beef cattle
sectors remained very active in 2011. As a
consequence, greater demand for animal feed
for these two segments was observed among
the technically oriented cattle producers.
The factory reached a record output of about
165,000 tons in the year.

sua Indústria de Óleo e Farelo de Soja para
prestar serviço de esmagamento de soja
para outras empresas.

von Dienstleistung Sojaöl zu pressen.
Structure – Just as in recent years, Agrária
used the structure of its Soya Oil and Meal
Industry to render crushing services to other
companies.
Markt – Um das Ziel zu erreichen, auf
eigene Produktion umzusteigen, wurde
eine spezialisierte Vermarktungsabteilung
gegründet, die Öl und Kleie auf dem
Markt verkauft. Es gab eine gute
Akzeptanz der Agrária-Produkte mit
Vertragsvereinbarungen auf dem internen
und externen Markt. Die Produktion selbst
beginnt schon im Januar 2012.
Market – With a view to achieving the
objective of converting to our own production,
a sales desk formed by specialists was set
up, and the sale of soya oil and meal to the
market was started. Agrária’s products were
found to be well received, with contracts
for the domestic and foreign markets being
closed. Our own production will already start
in January 2012.

Mercado – Visando cumprir o objetivo

Dia 19 de outubro, durante o WinterShow
2011, a Agrária anunciou um novo
empreendimento: uma indústria para
processamento de milho (180 mil t/ano).
O portfólio de produtos inclui grits, flakes,
germe, fubá e creme de milho, entre outros.
Apoiada pelo programa Paraná Competitivo,
do governo estadual, a fábrica representa
investimento de R$ 124 milhões. O início
das operações está previsto para 2013.
Am 19. Oktober gab die Agrária während der
WinterShow 2011 ein neues Projekt bekannt:
eine Industrie zur Weiterverarbeitung von Mais
(180.000 t/Jahr). Das Produktionsportfolio
umfasst unter anderem Grieß, Flocken,
Keime, Maismehl und Maiscreme. Das Projekt
erfährt Unterstützung durch das Programm
„Paraná Competitivo“, der Staatsregierung und
benötigt Investitionen in Höhe von R$ 124 Mio.
Betriebsbeginn ist für 2013 vorgesehen.

Agrária announced a new enterprise: an
industry for processing corn (180,000 tons
per year). The product portfolio includes grits,
flakes, corn germ, cornmeal and corn flour,
among others. With support from the State
government’s “Competitive Paraná” program,
the factory represents an investment of R$ 124
million. Start-up is scheduled for 2013.

No último trimestre do ano, iniciou-se a
ampliação da nossa área de recebimento,
armazenagem e expedição, o que nos
possibilitará acompanhar o crescimento da
indústria de alimentos dos próximos anos. A
obra está prevista para finalizar no primeiro
semestre de 2012.
Im Jahr 2011 konzentrierte die IREKS do
Brasil ihre Anstrengungen auf die Entwicklung
der Geschäfte in den wichtigsten Regionen
des Landes. Durch die Bereitstellung
von Qualitätsbackwaren mit einer breiten
Palette von Produkten und Lösungen für
Bäckereien, Konditoreien, Supermärkte und
Backindustrien war es möglich, die Ziele des
Geschäftsjahres zu übertreffen und das beste
Ergebnis seit Inbetriebnahme der IREKS in
Brasilien zu erzielen.
Das Unternehmen investierte in die
Verbesserung des internen und externen
technischen Personals, um den Kunden
technische Beratung mit höchstem
internationalem Niveau zur Verfügung zu stellen.
So modernisierte es weiter seine Prozesse
durch europäische Spitzentechnologie.
Im letzten Quartal wurde damit begonnen, die
Entlade-, Speicher- und Verladebereiche zu
erweitern. Dies ergibt die Möglichkeit, dem
Zuwachs der Nahrungsmittel-Industrien in
den nächsten Jahren zu entsprechen. Dieser
Ausbau wird, wie vorgesehen, in der ersten
Hälfte des Jahres 2012 beendet sein.
In 2011, IREKS do Brasil focused its efforts on
developing its business in the country´s most
important regions. Providing our clients, such
as backeries, candy shops, supermarkets and
backing industries, with top quality – including
a wide range of products and solutions –,
allowed us to surpass the goals for the year
and to achieve the best result since IREKS´
inauguration in Brazil.
IREKS made investments in its technical team,
aiming to offer the clients technical assistance
according to the highest international
standards. By using European top technology
processes have been updated even further.
In the last quarter, we began to expand our
unloading, storage and shipping areas, which
will allow us to go along with the growth of the
food industry in the next years. This expansion
is to be concluded – according to the
schedule – in the first semester of 2012.

Em função dos temporais que, em
janeiro, haviam atingido a região serrana
do Rio de Janeiro, colaboradores da
Cooperativa arrecadaram donativos em
prol dos desabrigados. Outras empresas
de Guarapuava também se somaram à
campanha. Os donativos foram enviados
no dia 21 de janeiro.

Obdachlosen aus der Bergregion von
Teresópolis (RJ), die im Januar 2010 von
starken Regenstürmen heimgesucht wurde.
Andere Firmen von Guarapuava schlossen
sich dieser Kampagne ebenfalls an. Die
Spenden wurden am 21. Januar versandt.
In view of the rainstorms that struck the
mountain region of the State of Rio de
Janeiro in January, employees of the
Cooperative collected donations in favor
of those who had lost their homes. Other
companies in Guarapuava also contributed
to the campaign. The donations were sent
on January 21st.

Os repasses da Cooperativa à Fundação
Semmelweis chegaram a R$ 1,1 milhão.
Im Berichtsjahr leistete die Agrária
wieder einen entscheidenden Beitrag zur
Weiterführung des einzig im Bezirk von
Entre Rios bestehenden Krankenhauses
Semmelweis. Die Förderung der
Genossenschaft an die SemmelweisStiftung belief sich auf R$ 1,1 Mio.
In the year covered by this report, Agrária
continued to contribute decisively for the
Semmelweis Hospital – the only one in the
district of Entre Rios – to keep functioning. The
Cooperative’s transfers to the Semmelweis
Foundation reached R$ 1.1 million.
Em março, o hospital anunciou a conclusão
da reforma de suas enfermarias. A obra teve o
apoio da Associação Beneficente de Senhoras
de Entre Rios (ABSER) e de várias pessoas
da comunidade, por meio de doações
significativas. A Agrária também prestou auxílio
a esta iniciativa, disponibilizando técnicos para
a readequação das instalações elétricas.
Im März kündigte das Krankenhaus die
Fertigstellung des Stationsumbaus der
Mehrbettkrankenzimmer an. Der Bau wurde
vom Frauenverband und von der Gemeinde
mit erheblichen Spenden unterstützt. Die
Agrária leistete ihren Beitrag zu dieser
Initiative mit Fachleuten zur Modernisierung
der elektrischen Anlagen.
In March, the hospital announced the
conclusion of the renovation of its wards.
The work was supported by the Ladies’
Charitable Association of Entre Rios
(ABSER) and by many people in the
community, by means of considerable
donations. Agrária also gave aid to this
initiative, making technicians available for
the updating of the electrical installations.

Agrária continued to support the Colégio
Imperatriz. During the period of this report,
the Cooperative’s funding for the institution
amounted to R$ 1.9 million.
Por oferecer desde o início, além do inglês,
o ensino de alemão como uma das línguas
estrangeiras, o Colégio Imperatriz tornou-se,
em anos recentes, uma das sedes da prova
oficial de proficiência em língua alemã que
o governo da Alemanha realiza em diversos
países: o Deutsches Sprachdiplom (DSD).
Em 2011, índice de aprovação neste exame
foi superior a 90%.
Destacou-se ainda outro fato: por meio
de placa alusiva ao apoio da Alemanha
ao ensino de alemão em outros países, o
colégio recebeu, da coordenação regional

Todos os anos, a Agrária realiza
significativos aportes para a Fundação
Cultural Suábio-Brasileira – a instituição,
estabelecida em 2001 por incentivo
da Cooperativa, tem como missão a
preservação da cultura dos suábios do
Danúbio, os fundadores da Agrária. No
período deste relatório, o investimento em
cultura chegou a R$ 1,1 milhão.
Jedes Jahr stellt die Agrária bedeutende
Beiträge für die Donauschwäbisch-Brasilianische
Kulturstiftung zur Verfügung, die 2001 auf
Initiative der Genossenschaft gegründet
wurde und deren Aufgabe es ist, die Kultur der
Donauschwaben, die einst Gründer der Agrária
waren, zu erhalten. In diesem Berichtsjahr
erreichten die Mittel in die Kultur R$ 1,1 Mio.

Foundation. This institution, established
in 2001 with encouragement from the
Cooperative, has the mission of preserving the
culture of the Danube Swabians, the founders
of Agrária. In the period of this report, the
investment in culture reached R$ 1.1 million.

Cultural groups
Mais uma vez, durante todo o ano, os
grupos coordenados pela Fundação
Cultural realizaram apresentações de
música, dança, canto e teatro no Centro
Cultural Mathias Leh e também em outros
locais. Entre os diversos eventos culturais
realizados pela fundação, no Centro
Cultural, destacaram-se o Programa Cultural
alusivo aos 60 anos da Agrária (4 de junho)
e mais uma edição da Feira de Natal.
Während des ganzen Jahres veranstalteten
die Gruppen der Kulturstiftung Musik-,
Tanz-, Gesangs-, und Theatervorführungen
im Kulturzentrum Mathias Leh, aber auch
in anderen Städten. Unter den vielen
kulturellen Darbietungen der Stiftung sind das
Kulturprogramm zum 60. Gründungsjahr der
Agrária (4. Juni) sowie der Weihnachtsmarkt
hervorzuheben.
Once again, throughout the year, the groups
coordinated by the Cultural Foundation gave
musical, dancing, singing and theatrical
presentations in the Mathias Leh Cultural
Center and also in other places. Among the
several cultural events carried out by the
foundation in the Cultural Center, the Cultural
Program related to Agrária’s 60th anniversary
(June 4th) stood out, as well as another
edition of the Christmas Fair.

Por iniciativa da Fundação Cultural, uma
tradição entre jovens de origem suábia em
Entre Rios, a “Árvore de Maio”, passou a ser
em 2010 uma festa anual: no dia 1º de maio,
a segunda edição do evento apresentou
grupos de música e dança, além de
gastronomia típica. A presença de centenas
de pessoas confirmou o êxito da iniciativa.

entstand aus der Tradition des
„Maibaumstellens“ der donauschwäbischen
Jugend in Entre Rios ein jährliches Fest zum
1. Mai mit Musik- und Tanzgruppen-Auftritten
und typischen Gerichten. Die Anwesenheit
von Hunderten von Besuchern bestätigte den
Erfolg dieser Initiative.
By initiative of the Cultural Foundation, the
“Maypole” – a tradition among the youngsters
of Swabian origin in Entre Rios – became an
annual party in 2010. On the 1st of May, the
second edition of the event presented musical
and dance groups, in addition to typical
cuisine. The presence of hundreds of people
confirmed the initiative’s success.
Realizada em especial na Alemanha, como
um costume popular, a “Árvore de Maio”, é
um mastro de madeira, colocado na praça
central de pequenas cidades, tendo, em
sua ponta, guirlandas enfeitadas com fitas
coloridas e flores. Durante todo o mês de
maio, a “árvore” representa, entre outros
significados, o despertar da natureza, que
ocorre todo ano na primavera.
60 anos de Entre Rios
Para a Fundação Cultural e para a
Agrária, o ano de 2011 foi um período
de planejamento e de preparação das
festividades em comemoração aos 60
anos da imigração suábia em Entre Rios.
Decidiu-se por uma festa aberta a toda

Für Kulturstiftung und Agrária war das
Jahr 2011 ausgefüllt mit Planungen und
Vorbereitungen zur 60-Jahr-Feier von Entre
Rios und sie beschlossen dabei ein Fest für
die gesamte Gemeinde mit reichhaltigem

having garlands decorated with colored
ribbons and flowers at the top. Throughout the
month of May, the “pole” represents, among
other meanings, Nature’s awakening, which

Projetos culturais
A Agrária apresentou ao Ministério da
Cultura e obteve a aprovação para quatro
projetos culturais no âmbito da Lei Rouanet:
entre as propostas, destacou-se o novo
prédio do Museu Histórico de Entre Rios.
Ainda no âmbito daquela lei de incentivo à
cultura, a Cooperativa também estruturou
outros projetos, como um livro sobre a
história da colonização suábia em Entre
Rios, um evento de comemoração aos
60 anos de imigração dos suábios e a
manutenção do Centro Cultural.

Die Agrária erreichte beim Ministerium für
Kultur, im Rahmen des Rouanet-Gesetzes,
Zustimmung für 4 Projekte, darunter ist der
Neubau des Heimatmuseums von Entre
Rios hervorzuheben. Die weiteren Projekte
galten einem Buch über die Geschichte der
Donauschwaben in Entre Rios, der 60-JahrFeier zur Einwanderung der Donauschwaben
und dem Unterhalt des Kulturzentrums.
Agrária presented to the Ministry of Culture
four cultural projects within the scope of
the Rouanet Law, and obtained approval for
them; among the proposals, the new building
for the Entre Rios Historical Museum stood
out. The Cooperative also structured other
projects in the scope of the same cultural
incentive law: a book about the history of the
Swabian colonization in Entre Rios, an event
to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the
Swabians’ immigration, and the maintenance
of the Cultural Center.

Entre as ações da Agrária e da Fundação
Cultural durante o ano, fato de grande
importância foi a construção de um prédio
para o Museu Histórico. Até 2011, o
museu, estabelecido pela Agrária em 1992,
funcionou na antiga sede da Cooperativa.
Unter den Maßnahmen der Agrária und
Kulturstiftung war in diesem Jahr der Bau
des neuen Heimatmuseums von großer
Bedeutung. Bis 2011 war das 1992
gegründete Museum im ehemaligen
Verwaltungsgebäude der Genossenschaft
untergebracht.
Among the actions of Agrária and the Cultural
Foundation during the year, an achievement
of great importance was the construction of
a building for the Historical Museum. Until
2011, the museum, established by Agrária in
1992, was in the former headquarters of the
Cooperative.
Entsprechend dem Bauzeitplan, mit Beginn
im Februar, war die Einweihung des neuen
Museums zur 60-Jahr-Feier von Entre Rios
für Januar 2012 geplant. Das neue Gebäude
ergänzt die architektonische Gestaltung des
ursprünglichen Projektes, Kulturzentrum
Mathias Leh, das 1992 eingeweiht wurde. Das
Museum schließt auch den Nachbau eines
der ersten aus Holz in Entre Rios gebauten
Siedlerhäuser ein.
According to the building schedule for the
new museum, which started in February, the
inauguration was planned to take place during
the festivities for the 60th anniversary of the
Swabian immigration to Entre Rios, in January
2012. The building completes the architectural
group originally planned in the project for the
Mathias Leh Cultural Center, inaugurated in 1992.
A replica of the Swabians’ first wooden houses in
Entre Rios is also part of the museum.
De acordo com o cronograma das obras
do novo museu, iniciadas em fevereiro, a
inauguração foi programada para ter lugar
durante a festa dos 60 anos da imigração
suábia em Entre Rios, em janeiro de 2012.
O prédio completa o conjunto arquitetônico
originalmente previsto no projeto do Centro
Cultural Mathias Leh, inaugurado em 1992.
Integra o museu também uma réplica das
primeiras moradias de madeira dos suábios
em Entre Rios.

Ao lado de seu tradicional apoio ao esporte
do distrito de Entre Rios, a Agrária tornouse um dos principais patrocinadores do
futebol de salão de Guarapuava, o Clube
Atlético Deportivo (CAD). O time disputou
as partidas do Campeonato Paranaense
emocionando a torcida com seu alto
nível técnico e destacando o nome de
Guarapuava no noticiário esportivo. Como
conseqüência, a Cooperativa também
participou mais da vida da comunidade e
seu nome ganhou em visibilidade.

für den Sport in Entre Rios zeigte sich
die Agrária auch als Hauptsponsor der
Hallenfußballmannschaft von Guarapuava
(CAD-Clube Atlético Deportivo). Die
Mannschaft nahm an der paranaenser
Meisterschaft teil und begeisterte das
Publikum mit ihrem hohen technischen
Niveau, das den Namen von Guarapuava in
den Sportnachrichten hervorhob. Als Folge
davon nahm auch die Genossenschaft
aktiver am Gemeindeleben teil und ihr Name
gelangte in die breite Öffentlichkeit.
Besides its traditional support for sport in
the district of Entre Rios, Agrária became
one of the main sponsors of indoor soccer
in Guarapuava, at the Clube Atlético
Deportivo (CAD). The team played in
the rounds of the Paraná Championship,
exciting their fans with their high technical
level and highlighting the name of
Guarapuava in the sports news. As a
consequence, the Cooperative also played
a greater role in the life of the community,
and its name gained additional visibility.
